I was so happy with the result of today's makeup.đWhat makes the products blend well together is a good base with the right moisturizing creams. Often, SPF creams make the makeup matte and give a fresh finish. However, it is important to massage your SPF cream for a while and wait a few minutes before applying makeup products so it doesn't clump. Something that also makes my makeup last long and look more natural is using setting spray before powder. It makes the makeup matte and helps it last longer. Nice on the go
This is the perfect product to have in your beach bag. I like that itâs small and easy to carry on the go, since many of us are a bit too lazy to reapply sunscreen throughout the day. The formula is like a solid lip balm, quite greasy and feels long-lasting in use. I also really appreciate that thereâs no synthetic fragrance in the product. It feels a bit greasy on the skin, or maybe more like a slightly firm âwax-likeâ consistency, but this didnât bother me much since it melts more into the skin when you rub it in. I think it offers good value for the money (161 kr, 8 g), as itâs quite long-lasting. However, itâs probably best suited as an emergency solution/for use on the go rather than a sunscreen you use regularly, since it takes a bit of time and effort to apply properly. Itâs so small that Iâve only used it on my face and on the most exposed parts of the body, like scars and moles. I donât have âproblem skinâ and donât struggle with acne or sensitivity, so I didnât react to this. However, I can imagine it might be comedogenic for those who easily get breakouts from greasy creams, since it contains both shea and coconut fats, and isopropyl palmitate, all of which are comedogenic (clog pores). Great for the face
This sunscreen is one of the best I've tried for the face. The formula is relatively thin and not greasy or sticky. There is no strong scent, and the cream absorbs quickly into the skin without leaving a shiny or greasy layer. I find it very comfortable to use under makeup and experienced no "layer peeling" or that the makeup wore worse with the sunscreen underneath. I also think it offers good value for money, as it is 50 ml for 199 kr. I personally don't have issues with acne-prone or sensitive skin, but since it is not greasy and has no strong scent, I don't see it causing breakouts or skin reactions. Since this sunscreen also has a chemical filter, it does not leave a bluish layer on the skin like sunscreens with physical filters often do. I have quite fair skin, so I don't struggle much with this, but I imagine this sunscreen can safely be used by those with darker skin tones as well since it doesn't give the skin that bluish layer. Suitable for everyone
I love that this sunscreen is completely neutral. This sunscreen has no noticeable scent, which I really like. It feels better for the body to apply something that doesnât smell very synthetic or strong. Iâm personally a fan of synthetic sunscreen scents, but I appreciate that this line stays neutral and simple, so it can be used by anyone. The formula is also very nice and requires little effort and stress. On my skin, the cream absorbed deeply after I worked it in a bit. Iâve previously used sunscreens in oil, gel, and much thicker versions, but I prefer this light consistency, which doesnât leave a sticky layer on the skin or require much effort to fully rub in. (In the attached pictures, I havenât fully rubbed the cream into the skin, just to show the consistency; it becomes invisible on the skin when fully applied.) I also think this sunscreen offers very good value for money, with 177 ml for 191 kr. I also prefer to use SPF 30 on my body and have noticed that many sunscreens on the market cost significantly more in SPF 50 versions. The difference in protection between SPF 30 (97%) and SPF 50 (98%) is marginal, so itâs good to know when looking for sunscreens. I couldnât find any of the CeraVe sunscreens in the Consumer Councilâs sunscreen test, but I saw on the Nordic Swan Ecolabel list that it is not Swan-labeled. I know that sunscreens with chemical filters often contain chemicals that are less biodegradable than sunscreens with physical filters. The only thing Iâm dissatisfied with about this product is that I wish it were easier to see where CeraVeâs products fall on the environmental scale. I got to try sunscreen from #cerave. (My #lykoinflutester reviews are as honest as the reviews I write about products I have paid for.) This sunscreen can be used both on the face and body. It comes in a tube that dispenses the product a little too easily.. That could use a slight adjustment. The cream's consistency is neither thin nor thick. It absorbs very nicely into the skin shortly after application and leaves no sticky residue. It also doesn't have much of a scent since it is fragrance-free. However, the price is a bit steep for a basic sunscreen, in my opinion. I still recommend this cream to those who want reliable protection. Don't forget to reapply, and don't store your creams in the blazing sun! I will use up this tube, then I'll probably go back to Nivea Sensitive for the body, as it is a bit more budget-friendly. I have had the chance to try sunscreen from #cerave. (My #lykoinflutester reviews are as honest as the reviews I write about products I have paid for.) I have been using this sun stick diligently on the back of my hands and fingers, and on my lips, for several weeks now. I donât want to use it on the rest of my face because it contains castor oil and my face tends to develop milia sometimes (Iâm not saying this stick causes milia, Iâm just cautious). As a sunscreen for my hands, it has been excellent though, and quite okay for the lips. The stick is fragrance-free and the texture is relatively thin. The area feels a bit sticky after application, but once it has absorbed, it hardly feels anything on the skin. The scent is quite unpleasant, but you barely notice it once the sunscreen has absorbed into the skin. It also doesnât make you shiny when used. It looks a bit shiny at first, but once absorbed, it disappears. I give it a four. The packaging is quite hard to squeeze when trying to get the product out, so it might not be the best product for those with weak hands. The sunscreen itself is fragrance-free and somewhat thicker in consistency than the other fluids I've tested (Garnier super UV fluid and La Roche-Posay fluid).. not by much though. I don't experience any skin reaction (on my sometimes sensitive skin) when using this, and no stinging in the eyes. I also don't find it particularly sticky on the skin. It is easily removed with double cleansing (either cleansing balm/oil or micellar water on a cotton pad, plus a subsequent regular cleansing). The price is quite steep for the small amount you get, so personally I probably won't buy this sunscreen with my own money in the future (unless the price drops)..
