Good and affordable cleanser ⭐️
CeraVe Hydrating cleanser is a product I’m already familiar with, but it’s been a while since I last used it. The product promises to be a moisturizing cleanser, which is good since I have very dry skin, and especially now in the cold, cleansing products need to be moisturizing as well 💧 I didn’t have any makeup on today, so I just washed my face with this. On makeup days, I would use this as a second-step cleanser, which it is excellent for, for example, alongside a balm-like cleanser 🤝🏼 I didn’t notice any scent in the product, which I think is a plus. The product feels like washing with a light cream 😍 After washing, my skin still felt dry, as it always does. I followed my normal skincare routine after washing, and my skin didn’t require extra moisture after this cleansing. Positive Surprise
This daily-use cleanser gently cleanses the skin without leaving a dry feeling. The skin stays clean but not tight, which is a big plus for me. Used up a whole jar
Really lovely cleanser from baby to grandpa. We've used several jars in our family, so it was a familiar product. Suitable for both facial cleansing and for the body. For removing eye makeup or lip makeup, it’s not enough for me, but for basic cleansing it’s good and works well for my sensitive skin without making it feel tight. It also doesn’t irritate my sensitive eyes, which is a plus. The jar is styled like regular pharmacy cosmetics. I think the price-quality ratio is really good. The holy grail of face washing
This #cerave cleanser is my ”trustie ” and I’ve been using it for years! (In the video I have a bigger package than 236 ml since I had it already open) I have a mixed skin, impurities sometimes but not very often (because I use this). I think it’s a great deal in terms of quality, price and the amount of product you get. The pump is easy to use and this typically sits on the shelf in my shower. It doesn’t smell like anything so works also for people with fragrance sensitivity. If I’d have to change something, I’d maybe make the packaging style ”more fun ”. Feels more like a moisturizer than a cleanser
I haven't used this brand before, so I was excited to try it out. I've heard a lot of positive things about the brand, that it's fragrance-free and gentle on sensitive skin, which is fantastic. But for me, I didn't really experience more moisture than before. I first thought it was a moisturizer I was applying to my face since the consistency reminded me more of a cream - I had to check the product page several times. A bit about my skin: I have quite normal skin with some dry spots now in the winter, and especially when it's been very cold outside, I notice the dryness more. It's cheap and fine, very economical to use, you don't need to apply much. The only downside I can point out is that I missed it foaming so I could know if I had applied the product all over my face. My perfect winter cleanser❄️
I got this facial cleanser from #cerave to try as #lykoinflutester. I had heard a lot of good things about it, so it's fun to try it myself. I have also previously tried some different products from Cerave and liked them. I was a bit skeptical at first because I didn't think I "needed" a moisturizing facial cleanser for my otherwise slightly oily and impure skin. But now during the winter, my skin is much drier than usual and actually needs the moisture. So this suits my skin really well right now, but maybe not in the summer, but who knows🤷🏼♀️ I always use a cleansing balm before I go in with the face wash (always double cleanse). This way, I feel that my skin is completely cleansed of makeup and impurities. This product cleanses the skin gently but effectively. The skin doesn't feel dry or tight afterwards, as it can with other facial cleansers. It doesn't irritate my skin in any way or cause breakouts. Creamy consistency, a bit like a hand soap🧴 It's also economical, so one bottle will last a long time, but if you're worried it will run out quickly, there is also a larger bottle that is 473ml. BEST cleanser for you with sensitive skin
SKIN TYPE FOR REFERENCE: Dry, sensitive/damaged skin barrier at the moment. I was recommended this cleanser a few months ago after I suddenly developed extremely sensitive skin and very easily get a damaged skin barrier. I can say that I have thanked that person a thousand times. This cleanser is so gentle that my skin, no matter how damaged it is, never irritates. It feels like the softest thing on the skin while really removing all makeup without leaving behind tight and dry skin. Instead, I feel truly clean, hydrated, and soft. It has no fragrance and no other strong substances, and for me, it wouldn't have made any bigger difference in the price range when everything is perfect. But the price? So incredibly affordable, and you don't need much product. I usually wash twice when I have makeup to be sure that everything is gone! I have aging, surface-dry combination skin, and this CeraVe Hydrating Cleanser really surprised me positively. My first observation was the pump bottle, which makes the product extremely easy to use – dispensing is effortless and you don’t need to open the bottle separately, which is especially convenient in the shower. The consistency felt more like a moisturizer than a traditional cleansing product, and in a good way. It doesn’t foam at all. The skin didn’t feel tight or dry after washing, but soft and soothed. It also has no scent, so this will definitely suit many, if not everyone. The product contains hyaluronic acid and ceramides. The promise is that it cleanses and moisturizes without disturbing the skin's own protective layer. And it really does🥰 Especially on days when I didn’t wear makeup – for example during vacation – this was really easy and pleasant to use. The product worked great as part of my shower routine, making facial cleansing effortless. I mainly used the product on my face. A big plus is that it also works for the body, making it versatile. It is also economical since one pump was enough for the face, neck, chest, back, and arms.😃 Although it cannot remove waterproof makeup, I used it in a double cleansing routine. It fits perfectly for that. However, I prefer a simple routine, so 1 cleansing product should remove makeup and dirt so that I don’t have to double cleanse. That’s why I deducted one star. My skin is dry and tight from this☃️
I was super happy when I was going to try this on my dry skin since it’s a moisturizing cleanser. It’s been cold and it’s winter, so my skin is even drier now than my already dry skin is in the summer. Now in winter, I mostly use balm and sometimes an oil cleanser, and I always use micellar. Preferably fragrance-free since my skin is sensitive. It might be that this works better in the summer, but right now in January, this cleanser is not working well for me and my skin is getting dry and tight. It doesn’t lather excessively much, so I thought it would work, but it didn’t. It’s fragrance-free, which is really good, and the pump works great, but my skin is getting too dried out from it. Unfortunately. I will go in and change my rating if it works better in the summer, which I have no idea if it will. The positive, besides being gentle on the skin, is that it cleans well anyway. But with the fact that this cleanser claims to be moisturizing and makes my skin tight instead of just somewhat hydrated is not so fun. Really good cleanser at a budget price
On behalf of #lykoinflutester, I tried this cleanser from #cerave. I have had this before and I have also tried other products from the brand, and what I think is that Cerave definitely holds up to the standard. So this time as well! I think this is a really nice cleanser at a really nice price. The consistency is slightly gel-like, but it’s not really gel-like, smells like nothing (absolutely nothing) and becomes almost a bit lotion-like when you lather it in. For it doesn’t really form any bubbles but is more creamy. When it comes to the packaging, I think it’s a bit boring, but I have mine standing in the shower, and there it doesn’t shine quite as much with its bright green color. I think this product delivers on its promises. It cleanses the skin without drying it out. The cleanser feels soft on the skin and doesn’t feel drying at all, but rather moisturizing. And as a little cherry on top, it works for the whole family! I understand why many mention in their reviews that the face doesn't feel clean after use. The skin feels like it has been rubbed with oil, which was really confusing at first😄 But that doesn't mean the face hasn't been cleaned! This product is not meant for makeup removal but specifically for the second part of double cleansing to clean the face. For my needs, I feel that this product is more what I crave for my body. Very dry and itchy skin, so I also see how this works perfectly for people who have the same problem on their faces! The product leaves the skin wonderfully soft🤩 I love Cerave products when I know they are safe to use, and it's great that this product can also be used for the body. The pump works, but the product can surprisingly run out when you can't visually track its usage. I got to test CeraVe's cleansing product, which I am already familiar with.🥰 I can warmly recommend this product, especially for dry skin. In the winter, my skin is dry, and this cleansing product works excellently for me. The product is hypoallergenic, so it is also suitable for sensitive skin. Hydrating Cleansing
This cleanser is not a favorite. I have a normal/oily skin type and it is more suited for a dry skin type. It doesn't lather and feels more like a lotion than a cleanser. This makes me not feel completely clean after washing with this. However, I always double cleanse my face with an oil-based cleanser as step 1, so you get absolutely clean from this, but the feeling without lather is not something I like. I have used cerave foaming cleanser for many years and love it! But unfortunately, I didn't like this hydrating variant. Really hydrating!
🤍 This is one of the most popular cleansers out there, and for a good reason. The price is very reasonable, and you get a generous amount of product for what you pay. 🤍 A huge plus for me is that it’s fragrance-free and hypoallergenic. It’s actually not that easy to find a good cleanser without unnecessary ingredients like perfume, which can be irritating for the skin. 🤍 The texture is non-foaming and more like a slimy lotion, which at first can make it feel like it’s not really doing its job. I have been so lucky to receive CeraVe's Hydrating Cleanser which #LYKOINFLUTESTER 💚 I am 35 years old, have normal to dry skin, which can be a bit sensitive at times - especially if products contain a lot of fragrance. I have some lines around my eyes, but otherwise nothing noticeable. The bottle is just okay, looks like all other CeraVe products. Doesn't look very exclusive or fancy. But I really like that it has a pump (until it starts to run out 🫨). The consistency of the cleanser is not like other cleansers I have. It's almost a bit milky and oily, and doesn't foam at all. It also doesn't smell like anything, as it is fragrance-free (big plus) 🥰 I always double cleanse my face in the evening. First with either micellar water or oil cleanser and then a regular cleanser. After cleansing with this, my skin doesn't feel stripped, which is nice. But.. it's almost like I feel that my skin isn't cleansed enough since it feels so moisturized after cleansing. Something that is probably fantastic for those with very dry skin! But for me, who only has dry skin at times and not very dry skin, this is probably a bit too moisturizing for me. I probably appreciate that my skin feels super clean and stripped before I start my skincare routine 😅 But I have put it in the shower, so my partner (who has quite dry skin) has been able to use this now, and he really likes it. Hydrating Cleanser
#cerave Hydrating cleanser is made for and should suit all skin types. As #lykoninflutester I have been testing the cleanser for a few weeks and have both positive and negative experiences with the product. ➕ First, I need to say that I have normal skin and no other “serious” skin issues. When using the cleanser, my skin felt VERY hydrated, almost as if I had used a face cream. I reacted to the product's consistency, creamy, as I have never used a similar cleanser before. ➕ I used the cleanser to remove makeup but also without makeup. The product worked well and removed the makeup surprisingly well. ➖ HOWEVER, my experience with the cleanser is a bit mixed. The first time I used it, I reacted to how it stung a little on my face. The pain was not significant but made me take notice. The second time I used the product, I felt nothing. After that, my face has stung on different occasions. I don’t know what it’s due to and I probably won’t expose myself to it again; better safe than sorry. So just a heads-up if you’re considering buying this, it might sting. Doesn't work for me
As #lykoinflutester I had the opportunity to test this moisturizing cleansing gel from #Cerave, thanks Lyko! I was really excited to try it, but unfortunately it didn't suit my skin. The cleanser is intended for normal to dry skin, while I have very oily skin, especially in the morning. I also have quite large pores, which makes effective cleansing extra important for me. The consistency feels oily/milky, almost like butter. On my skin, it unfortunately didn't give a really clean feeling afterwards, and I found it hard to rinse off. It felt like it rather settled in the pores than cleaned properly. However, it feels very gentle and mild, which is a plus. I absolutely believe it works better for people with dry skin who need extra moisture. My skin did not react negatively to the product, which is positive especially since some experience stinging. I really like the pump packaging, it's convenient and hygienic to use. The fact that the product is also fragrance-free is greatly appreciated. Overall, it's a reasonably priced product. However, this is not something I would personally buy, as my skin is oily and the product is not suited for that skin type. For me, it unfortunately wasn't a perfect match, but I am convinced that it works better for other skin types. My whole face is burning...
Unfortunately, this cleanser was not for me as it starts to burn all over my face. I like the packaging and that it has a pump. I have combination skin and usually am not particularly sensitive to products. The cleanser made me red and burned all over my face, but afterwards my skin still felt hydrated. Moisturizing
Lyko influencer I have now been testing the Hydrating cleanser from #CERAVE for over a month and I am actually positively surprised by how good it is! 😍 (My prejudice was based on the fact that I previously tested CeraVe's Blemish Control Cleanser and my skin reacted negatively to it🥲) ABOUT MY SKIN: I have sensitive skin and have had problems with pimples and rashes around my mouth, and now during the winter DRYNESS! Which this cleanser has really handled in the best way!
