Friday, so we're going for a slightly more festive look with eye makeup! 🪩 I only used Morphe's palette and started with 'Taupe Tier' to mark and define the outer edge of the eyelid. Then I applied 'Hush Money' from the inner corner of the eye out to about halfway across the eyelid to brighten the look since I have hooded eyes. Finally, I used 'Highbrown' to create a sharp and defined eyeliner. All with Hickaps' 'Classic eye set' brushes. They make it so easy to get an eye makeup look because they are so perfectly cut! It feels nice on the skin, works great under makeup, and leaves no heavy feeling. 🌸 Make Up Store Blush on top of the Smashbox palette gave that fresh pop of color that tied the whole look together. 💋 IDUN Minerals Lip Liner gave a naturally defined lip that holds really well. 👁️ Makeup Revolution Eyeshadow palette really surprised me. The pigments are nice, the shadows are easy to blend, and it’s incredibly good value. ✨ The base was done with essence Silky Blur Foundation & Concealer, a duo that gave a smooth, natural finish with good coverage. Ultimate affordable palette - for everyday and party
Here you get value for your money! The Flickering Sands palette features warm brown and glitter colors. Personally, I don’t like having hundreds of different makeup products, but rather a few good products that work for everything. That’s what this eyeshadow palette does! It works well for everyday, soft glam, and party. The colors are mostly pigmented, but the lighter shades are less pigmented than I would have liked. If the product were more expensive, this would have negatively affected the rating, but I think they are better than expected for the price! Using an eyeshadow primer or concealer underneath solves this problem anyway. The colors are easy to blend, both the matte and glitter shades. This also makes the product beginner-friendly. The size of the palette is perfect in my opinion! 2016 Pomade Brows
My model (aka my mom) and I tried doing Anastasia Beverly Hills Pomade Brows on her tattoos, and she now has a shape she loves. The lift in the face was brutal, and it’s so fun to see how the eyebrows can change the whole look of the face. The pomade is truly a staple product, and I almost wish we would bring it back. A product I want to highlight that is EXTREMELY underrated is the makeup brushes from LYKO and Gleeze. I use them constantly. A favorite for me is ByLyko’s Foundation and Concealer dual brush. Gamechanger. Also the Gleeze Powder Brush! ByLyko’s lip oils are one of the nicest formulations ever. Gleeze Blushes and Beauty Blenders are also so good! Another product I’ve tried now is Daars Cream Blush, I’m totally in love. It applies so nicely on makeup and gives such a beautiful glow! Lastly, Urban Decay All Nighter, the cult product god. The new formulation makes no difference in wear. It’s as amazing as I remember. It sets and makes the makeup last through wet and dry. I had a day at school, was blow-drying, doing makeup on classmates, ran to the train, the train was insanely hot, and not a bit of makeup disappeared. 10/10! What do you think? New favorite!
My favorite makeup product to try (and buy a little too many of😅) has always been blush, and these colors were sooooo pretty and very hard to choose! I ended up choosing the color “After party” since I already have quite a few light pink shades and wanted a slightly more natural color that can give a bit of a “sunburned” look✨ Immediately, I was a bit worried the color would be too warm for me, but when I tested the product with self-tanner on, I thought the result was sooooo nice! The cream blush had a really lovely texture and applied nicely on the skin. It was easy to build up with both cream and powder. I didn’t use them in a specific order, but a bit of both to build up the color. A very easy product to work with to get the desired result!✨ I finished with the highlighter, which also gave a really nice glow🤍 Also very good value for money with 3 separate products in the package and a very good price! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I am genuinely obsessed. This highlighter delivers on everything. It melts into the skin in a way that makes it look like a natural glow and not like makeup sitting on top. And the best part? It doesn’t disturb the base at all, which is unusual for stick products. The color “Over Ice” gives a cool, almost glassy glow that catches the light so beautifully without being glittery or chunky. It’s completely free of that greasy feeling many cream products have; instead, it feels weightless, like a thin veil of glow. It’s also insanely long-lasting. You really only need a little to get an effect, which means it will last a long time. If you want to build up more intensity or get extra pop, it works perfectly on top of powder without disturbing anything underneath. And the wear… wow. It stays exactly where it should all day without fading or getting patchy.
