I got to test some products from Torriden thanks to #lykoinflutester. The one I got to try was their DIVE IN hyaluronic serum. I was SO happy when I received these items because I absolutely love Korean products. I have previously tried Torriden and fallen in love, but this was a new product for me. The serum is very watery in consistency, which made it very easy to apply all over my face. The feeling is that the skin absorbs the product quickly, but the skin feels very hydrated, like putting a dry sponge in water! My skin feels very smooth and gets a nice glow afterward. I also find that it works great under makeup, which doesn’t always happen! I look glowy all day when I use this (in combination with their DIVE IN cream). I, who have extremely dry skin, love this, but maybe I would have needed a LITTLE more moisture during the winter after all, but as I said, I am very dry. I really love this and it does its job with all the moisturizing acids! I got to try some products from Torriden thanks to #lykoinflutester. The first one I got to try was their DIVE IN soothing cream. I was SO happy when I received these items because I absolutely love Korean products. I have previously tried Torriden and fell in love, but this was yet another new product for me. At first glance, I was surprised; I have never felt a cream that is so watery and loose in consistency. I thought it couldn't be that good for dry skin, but how wrong I was! This product is lightweight and leaves my skin glowing all day. I feel that my skin is very hydrated and more elastic. It also absorbs quickly into the skin, which means it doesn't leave that sticky and gross feeling on the skin. I have had issues with my skin for a few months now, but I feel that this has really calmed my skin and repaired my skin barrier. Again, I would need a thicker cream in the winter, but I find that this is great to combine with a thicker cream! I got to test some products from GHD thanks to #lykoinflutester. The one I got to test is their heat protection. At first, I was skeptical since I only buy heat protection with a dry formula these days (like dry shampoo). This is because I hate waiting for my hair to dry after spraying the product. BUT this heat protection absorbed into my hair immediately and dried in about a minute, and I took A LOT (my hair got completely wet!). That really gives the product a big plus! Then I also noticed that it has a scent that makes my hair smell freshly washed, and it lasted all day! Several people said I smelled good in my hair thanks to it! How well it protects against heat is hard to say without special tools, but what I've noticed is that it's neither worse nor better than any other heat protection I've used. About me: • Dry hair • Thin hair • Flat hair Pros: + Smells good + Protects hair + Doesn’t feel like there’s any residue on the hair after about an hour + Dries quickly Cons: - “wet” formula - Noticed that it started to smell burnt after I used a “heat tool,” but not with a flat iron or similar.. I got to test some products from GHD thanks to #lykoinflutester. The first one I got to try is their Gold Hair Straightener Professional Styler. Since I already have straight hair, I thought "what can this product even help me with?" since I consider that I have very straight hair already. But OJ, how wrong I was. This straightener straightened every single hair strand on my head in just about 3 minutes. It is extremely good and did the job at least twice as fast as all the other straighteners I have tried. I also asked my friend with curly hair to try it, and even she said it took 15 minutes instead of 35 minutes with it! Another advantage is that it only takes about 20 seconds to warm up, totally insane! I also love that you can see how tight it is between the heating plates. My old straighteners have a gap when you close them, but not this one, which I would assume explains the efficiency. One downside, however, is that you can't adjust the temperatures yourself. Home Run!
Thanks to #lykoinflutester I got the chance to try the Ella Ella eau de parfum from #cacharel. I have to say that this perfume was a home run! The scent is both fruity and sweet, yet round and elegant, which makes it feel neither too cloying nor too heavy. The vanilla note doesn't take over at all, and stays nicely in the background (and that comes from someone who usually loves vanilla scents). What really impressed me was the longevity. I sprayed it in the morning and the scent lasted all day, even in the evening I could still smell it clearly. For me, who often finds that perfumes disappear quite quickly, this is a huge plus. Especially considering the price of the perfume. I think the scent is suitable for both everyday wear and more festive occasions. It smells floral, fruity, and sweet, yet it feels like it would fit all occasions and all ages. It has a freshness but also a maturity thanks to the soft notes in it. I've used it for two days and already received several compliments on the scent, both from old and young, which has never happened to me before! Pros: + Long-lasting + Good scent + Beautiful and elegant packaging In summary, I am completely in love with this perfume. Good, but..
I got to test this mascara thanks to lykoinflutester. I've heard a lot about this mascara on TikTok, both good and bad! I must say that during the first try, I was positively surprised, the mascara glided on very easily, was easy to work with, and made the lashes look very nice. It separates the lashes, which makes it look more natural, I didn't get any clumps at all from this mascara! This is a result I've always dreamed of since I like to have a bit lighter and natural lashes. What bothered me, however, was that the lashes drooped down after just an hour, and to even see that I had mascara on, I had to curl my lashes with mascara on (which you absolutely should not do!!). However, this is very common among non-waterproof mascaras, I think. I haven't had any problems with the mascara ending up under my eyes, though, and I've still stood outside in the rain at work! About me: I naturally have quite long lashes, which feels like it helped with this mascara. Pros: + Easy to work with + Separates the lashes + Holds well regardless of weather + Naturally beautiful result + Love the brush! Thanks to #lykoinflutester, I got to try the DAAR mascara, DAAR blush in the color Pink Sunset, and also the highlighter stick in the shade Pearl. I have all the products in the picture on, as well as contour etc. from other brands. This blush stick was sooooo pretty! It gives a pleasant and cute shade of pink.. I usually have a hard time applying blush sticks as I find they very often become patchy, but this one did not become patchy! It was easy to work with and blended out easily on the skin. Something that surprised me was how creamy it was, you can even see it in the picture! The longevity was also great, it lasted the 8 hours I had the makeup on, which was incredible since blush is something that usually fades out after a little while. I put three dots on each cheek and then blended it out with a brush directly on the skin, this worked very well since it was so creamy. Natural Glow
Thanks to #lykoinflutester, I got to try the DAAR mascara, DAAR blush in the color Pink Sunset, and also the highlighter stick in the shade Pearl. I have all the products in the picture on, as well as contour etc. from other brands. First up is the highlighter stick! This was a pleasant surprise as I’ve heard quite mixed reviews about this. The color Pearl was just perfect!! The stick is not glittery at all, but it just gives a natural glow. This can be both a downside and an upside, as it doesn’t give the world’s shine, but it looks like it’s natural and that the skin really glows, so I love it! I applied it by taking it on my finger first and then putting it on my face. The highlighter is very creamy, so it can probably be done in any way. Another advantage of this is that it held very well! I find that highlighters usually disappear after about 1 hour, but this one stayed put for the 8 hours I had the makeup on. About me: • Dry skin Pros: + Natural glow + Easy to apply + Good durability + SUPER pretty packaging Cons: - Unfortunately, it broke on me after the second use, it might have been my fault as I’m not 100% sure if I twisted the product down completely before putting the cap on, which caused it to break the next time I pressed it on my skin. New favorite!
I got to test some products from Noberu thanks to #lykoinflutester. One of the products I got to try was their No 109 Orange Cedar 9 Wonders All-in-one. This became a new favorite of mine! The product is a leave-in product that I spray in my hands and then work into my hair, which I then blow-dry. I immediately noticed how smooth my hair became and how shiny it looked. The hair didn't get tangled at all as quickly, and I also think the hair looks healthier when you use this for a longer time. It doesn't weigh the hair down at all, which is a super advantage! You can't even feel that you have a product in your hair! The design of the bottle is also soooooo incredibly beautiful. I wish I had space to let this stand out, because it looks so luxurious! Something else positive is also the scent. It's a scent that some might find overwhelming, but I thought it was perfect! It's a unisex scent, but it smells like orange mixed with cedar, and makes it perfect for summer! I've also used the product when I've woken up with tangled hair, then I've sprayed it in my hair like a conditioning spray, which has worked SO WELL! The hair detangles immediately. I got to test some products from Noberu thanks to #lykoinflutester. The one I got to try was their No 103 Amalfi Heat Protection Colour Protection. I think this works exactly like a heat protectant should! I love heat protectants that are in dry format, instead of a wet spray. This makes it perfect to use before straightening your hair, and it's easy to distribute the product throughout the hair. The scent is very strong but settles down after a while; I don't think this scent is masculine, rather it smells really good and is more unisex. About me: • Dry hair • Thin hair • Flat hair Pros: + Dry heat protectant + Does what it’s supposed to! + Affordable since it’s economical + Nice bottle!
