    Cheap scent, but high rating!

I have tried three skincare products from Ida Warg, one of which is the serum. My first impression of it was that it absorbed very quickly into the skin. Almost like the skin drinks up all the moisture at once! I like that it doesn’t get sticky, and you can easily apply multiple layers for even more hydration. I have combination normal to oily skin, and I find that this serum together with the Gel Cream has worked really well for me. Niacinamide, which this contains, is an ingredient I usually look for, and I really appreciate that this contains both that and the must-have ingredient hyaluronic acid! I feel that the skin feels hydrated and looks a bit more even and glowing. Plus at an absolutely reasonable price! Then there’s the scent. I think it smells quite a lot like artificial strawberry. It does smell nice, but strong, and it reminds me of when I played with Barbies? You know, the strawberry scent some toys had? Unfortunately, it gives a bit of a cheap feeling. However, I really like the packaging! Many products with this type of design are in glass, but this one in hard plastic I don’t have to worry about breaking in the bathroom or in my toiletry bag. #lykoinflutester #idawargbeauty

    Glow 60 oily

I have tried three skincare products from Ida Warg, one of which is this gel cream. My first impression of it was that it absorbed very quickly into the skin. I like that it doesn’t get sticky. The formula is exactly as the name suggests, a kind of hybrid between gel and cream. I have combination normal to oily skin, and I find that this Gel Cream together with the serum has worked really well for me. I feel that the skin feels hydrated and looks somewhat more even and glowing. Glow without feeling oily and greasy is not a given. Plus at an absolutely reasonable price! Then there’s the scent. It smells quite a lot like artificial strawberry, I think. It does smell nice, but a lot, and it reminds me of when I played with Barbies? You know, the strawberry scent some toys had? Unfortunately, it gives a slightly cheap feeling. #LYKOINFLUTESTER #IDAWARGBEAUTY

    Glassy Shine

I have tried three products from Ida Warg, one of which is this lip balm! Unfortunately, I have to say that this is the one I am least impressed with. The lips feel moisturized immediately upon application, but quite quickly they feel dry again, which makes you want to reapply quite often, unfortunately. The description says that the balm melts immediately upon contact with the lips, which I can agree with. It also gives a nice shine that I would describe more as glassy than shimmering. The small purple packaging is cute and perfect to carry in your handbag. I will probably use it more as a lip gloss than a lip balm! #lykoinflutester #idawargbeauty

    Not worth the price

To be honest, I haven’t had the chance to properly test this sunscreen since I’ve only had it at home for just over a week and haven’t spent many continuous hours in the sun since then. What I can say is that I haven’t gotten sunburned during the time I’ve actually been outside! However, I did become a bit skeptical about how well and how long it protects, considering it’s recommended to use another base sunscreen under makeup and then this one for reapplication. You’d expect an SPF50 sunscreen to fully protect as long as you apply enough, right? Maybe it’s about them thinking you can “save” the product just for reapplication where it mainly comes into its own, considering it actually costs 249 SEK for 15 ml. That’s pricey, in my opinion! The advantage of this one is really the packaging. It’s convenient to carry in your bag without worrying about leaks or mess. It’s also easy to apply with the cushion pad. However, it’s very hard to tell how much product you’ve actually applied. It feels like the “sponge” soaks up quite a bit and you can’t see how much ends up on your face. Regarding how it behaves over makeup, I actually feel like the wrong person to ask. I rarely wear makeup, and when I do, I use a very thin and lightweight base! I think I could probably get the same result by using a lightweight sunscreen and applying it with a beauty blender. No white cast, light formula, and moisturizing promised, and that’s true🌟 It also doesn’t have any unpleasant scent. Otherwise, I unfortunately don’t think it’s worth the money. #LYKOINFLUTESTER #SMUUTISKIN

    Good, but not magical

I have tried this Dry Argan Oil Spray from Waterclouds, and to be honest, I have been very torn about what rating to give it! The first thing I noticed was the scent. I really think it smells incredibly good, and that alone makes it feel luxurious to use. The scent reminds me of honey and is also a bit nutty. I also think it's really smart to have a dry oil (even though I don't quite understand how it works, to be honest🙈). I have quite heavy hair that easily gets greasy, and it feels really nice to have an alternative to a regular hair oil that easily weighs the hair down and risks making it look greasy if you happen to use a bit too much. There is no risk of greasiness here as long as you apply it to the lengths, just shine! It doesn't weigh the hair down either, but is light and airy. Besides adding shine to the lengths, it also makes tangled hair easier to detangle. However, I don't think it manages to work any miracles on dry and frizzy hair. I don't quite understand how it fits together, but if you apply it to dry lengths, they definitely become shinier, but in some way they still look just as dry. You know when you brush curly hair, and it becomes big and porous? Despite this oil, the hair stays in that condition, just with added shine. The picture shows how my ponytail looked after I had been outside shoveling for a while in a down jacket. Before I went out, I applied the oil to the ponytail in hopes that it wouldn't become too dry and static. Unfortunately, the hair was still sticking out in all directions and edges when I came back inside. It should be added that the hair was already quite porous before I went out. Otherwise, my hair is generally quite shiny and well-groomed, but now it's the end of winter and I haven't had a haircut in three months, so dry ends are unfortunately unavoidable. In summary, it is therefore not a magical product that can magically remove frizz and dryness when the damage has already been done. However, it might be a bit better at preventing. #lykoinflutester #waterclouds

    Fresh length!

I tried this Instant Dry Shampoo from Waterclouds and I am very positively surprised. I have to be honest and say that I was very skeptical at first since I didn't understand how a wet product could make hair less greasy. It seems logical that a dry shampoo made of a powder can absorb oil and grease, but this product is basically comparable to a water sprayer in formula. When I tried it for the first time, it was the scent that impressed me first. It smells fresh, nice, and quite a lot (at least if you don't skimp on the product). I also think the scent lasts quite a while. Even several hours after application, I feel that my hair feels and smells fresh, even though it was very greasy before. I train quite a bit and move outdoors with a hat, so my hair often and quickly gets greasy between washes. I think the product works excellently a couple of days after washing before the hair is too greasy, but when it starts to get really dirty, it doesn't quite cut it. Then you have to use a lot of product to get a good result, and then it runs out quite quickly in the bottle. I usually section my hair near the part and bangs and spray a couple of times on each section depending on how thick they are. After that, I wait a short moment before massaging it into the scalp with my fingers, and suddenly the hair looks and smells almost freshly washed. There isn't much product feel in the hair at all! The product only feels a little if you use a lot, and adds a bit of structure and volume. The result and scent last impressively long, as long as the hair isn't too dirty beforehand. #LYKOINFLUTESTER #WATERCLOUDS

A mascara you keep coming back to

I received this mascara from Maybelline and I won't hide the fact that it's one of my favorites from before as well! The brush itself is a bit curved, and the whole handle is quite soft which makes it flexible and easy to apply. The "spikes" on the brush are hard enough to separate the lashes and avoid so many clumps. However, it always gets a bit clumpy on one of my eyes while the other usually looks really nice, I don't understand why it turns out like that🤷🏻‍♀️😂 I usually apply in two coats for the best effect. It can get a bit clumpy, but I think it works best to get defined lashes, and actually, I also feel that the curl holds better that way! Otherwise, my lashes tend to tip forward and become almost straight right after applying mascara. I have medium-length lashes and relatively thick ones. I used to use lash serum, but it's been a while since I used it regularly, so I don't think it should have that much impact on the result. One small downside is that it's quite hard to wash off, especially after two layers. I had gotten used to a mascara that easily "rolls" off, so it's a bit annoying for the eyes to have to wash so aggressively! Be careful and use eye makeup remover, I tend to be careless about that... #lykoinflutester #maybelline

Fills the skin with lots of goodness

I have tried this primer from NYX both now and previously, and I am absolutely satisfied with it. The formula is transparent and gel-like, and when you work it into the skin a bit by patting, it becomes a little lightly sticky/messy. I notice right upon application that the primer evens out the skin's texture. It becomes a bit smoother! What is stated in the description that the skin is "filled out" is really true. That it is also multifunctional and has a lot of nourishing properties is a big plus! If I had to guess, it's probably a big reason why it should make the makeup last better, since skincare is A and O when it comes to that. I also like the pump bottle and the function. It is simple and easy to dose. #lykoinflutester #nyxprofessionalmakeup

    Highlighter - Glow without glitter

I have tried this highlighter from Loreal Paris, and I actually think it's the first completely liquid highlighter that I'm testing! My first impression of this is that it creates a nice and natural glow, and I stand by that! The formula is, as mentioned, liquid and it comes in a tube packaging. I have used it by taking a small dab on my finger and then dabbing it out mainly over the cheekbones, and I think that’s enough for a natural result! I don’t actually use highlighter that often otherwise. I haven’t used it all over my face, either alone or under makeup. It feels like it would be way too much of a good thing, at least for me! I have normal-combination skin that tends to get oily sometimes, and a lot of extra glow is the last thing I want (even if the latter might be a nicer type of glow). If you use it like I do, it will also last really long since you only need an extremely small amount. The highlighter is colored, and I would like to compare it to a warmer foundation in tone (I have 903 medium glow). I think it works well to look natural with my skin tone. It blends in nicely, especially if I have a foundation in a similar tone, and contributes a lot to the natural result. It doesn’t really brighten the cheekbones, but as mentioned, it creates a nice glow there! I have previously had many highlighters that tend to get glittery, which I don’t like at all. This one gives a super nice glow without glitter, perfect! #lykoinflutester #lorealparis

    Impressed!

I have tried this setting spray from Rebecca Stella and I must say it’s probably one of the better ones I’ve tried. My first impression was that it wasn’t that special since the bottle felt a bit budget at first glance. However, I like that it’s completely plastic since it’s stored in the bathroom, and it might not be so easy to achieve a luxurious feel! Then I discovered while using it that it distributes the product in very, very small and fine droplets, which makes the mist settle beautifully on the face. It’s like a lovely cloud, typ! I use 4-5 sprays, but I don’t skimp. I’d rather not have too much product come out so I can adjust the amount myself. The best part about the product is that, incredibly, I don’t seem to get oily! Almost always when I wear makeup, it quickly turns to me looking greasy and oily on my forehead. I have combination skin with oily areas in the T-zone, and it actually feels like this setting spray is perfect for me! I didn’t think so when I read the description, but maybe it’s just that my skin thrives so well with all the moisturizing properties🙏🏼 The mist also sinks in very quickly to the skin and it doesn’t feel wet or sticky. #LYKOINFLUTESTER #REBECCASTELLA
