Quickfix for frizzy hair!
I have had the honor of testing the Waterclouds Bonding series for about a month as #influtester, and now it's time to share how it actually worked for my hair ☺️ 👀 First impression I had pretty high expectations for this serum, especially now in the fall when my hair gets extra dry and tangled. Unfortunately, I wasn't completely impressed. I was hoping for a real moisture boost, but the result was a bit more... moderate. Totally okay, but not what I really hoped for. 🌷 Appearance & packaging I still have to give a big plus for the packaging! The pump bottle is super convenient and easy to dose, no risk of taking too much and no messy hands. I have had the honor of testing the Waterclouds Bonding series for about a month as #influtester, and now it's time to share how it actually worked for me 😊 👀 First Impression The shampoo feels luxurious right from the first use and fits nicely among Waterclouds' other products. The design is sleek and simple, just beautiful on the bathroom shelf! 🌷 Packaging & Scent The bottle is pretty, but the snap lid makes it a bit tricky to get the thick formula out, especially when you have wet hands. A pump (which I will always prefer for hair care) would have made a big difference. The scent is very mild, which is perfect if you are sensitive to strong fragrances. I personally like when hair products have a bit more scent, so it unfortunately doesn't get a full score there, but luckily tastes differ. 🫧 How it Feels in the Hair The shampoo feels a bit heavy during use, and I also find that it takes a little longer to rinse out than I'm used to. But once the hair is dry, I noticed the most significant difference. The hair feels stronger, softer, and more moisturized. For fine and dry hair, it does the job really well. I'm also completely convinced that I would see an even better result if I continue to use these. ✨ Summary In the picture, I have used the entire series and after blow-drying. Effective and really gets the job done!
I got to try this Daily Microfoliant from Dermalogica! I have absolutely nothing negative to say about this product, it’s economical and feels like it will last a long time considering you don’t need to use much powder at each exfoliation session, it’s easy to use, and you’re left with a smooth and soft result. I have combination skin that can sometimes feel dry but mostly oily in between, sometimes my skin feels a bit “rough” and that’s when it’s really perfect to use this product to regain a smooth, nice, and balanced complexion! I’m super satisfied and will definitely use this regularly, I hope as I said that it lasts long because the only reason I’m not giving it full stars is that I think the price is very high (but maybe it’s worth it?) But I mean I’m a bit hesitant to spend that amount again to buy the product since I think almost up to 900kr is quite a lot of money for a single product. BUT! I got this beauty home as part of lykos #influtester, soooooo fun and exciting with new releases🙈🥳 Received this wonderful product sent to me by #lykoinflutester🥹 Can we just start with HOW CUTE the packaging is for these products????🤩🥹 I have combination skin that now heading into fall goes from sometimes overly oily to dry and flaky with washing. I also had a lot of acne in my teenage years up to 20. Nowadays, I mostly get breakouts when my skin is unhappy with products. I didn’t perceive the product to have any special scent, so it’s good for sensitive skin, I can imagine. The consistency is like satin and gives an incredibly nice finish. I tested this in combination with flora glow but stopped using flora glow due to suspicion that it caused breakouts for me. Continued with just this and my other usual skincare products, and the breakouts calmed down and my skin became nice again@ At first, when I tested the product, I was a bit confused about how to apply it since it said it was a liquid mask, so I thought it might at least be a bit more solid in consistency. Now it mostly felt like it was running everywhere, but that probably has more to do with my clumsiness than the product. I followed the instructions and used it in the morning and evening, and unfortunately, it quickly made my skin go haywire, so I had to stop using it. The tricky part about this test is that it’s hard to know which of the 3 products caused the breakout. HOWEVER, I still want to add an important thing, if you have small bumps on e.g. your back, this AMAZING worked. It only took a few days for the bumps to lessen. This gets 4/5 as it’s great, but I don’t notice that it makes more of a difference than any other face cream I have. (late review since I missed the date) Our bathroom mirror tends to get very dirty between cleanings! Both my partner and I have neurological conditions, and cleaning gets a bit forgotten, so the products we have last a long time. Light multispray that gets the job done!
(late review since I missed the date) This spray is light, smells good of mint and cucumber, but still does an effective job! I usually use chemicals like ammonia and bleach when I clean the shower, but this did a really good job for not containing any chemicals. I sprayed it on a wet surface and scrubbed with a sponge. Long and thin.
I really like this applicator/tweezers. Many tweezers are short and thin, so you can barely hold them in your hand. This one is really long and a bit wider where you hold it. But at the very end, where you need to grip the lashes, it is thin so it doesn't become clunky to use. You also don't get scared that it will break so easily since it has a bit of weight to it. At the front, it is shaped in a very good way just for applying lashes. It is kind of bent quite far so you really get a good grip on the thin lashes. One of the best glues I've tried.
I am usually very sensitive to eyelash glue as they start to itch and make my eyes watery almost immediately. But this was really not the case with this one. I didn't itch at all the whole day. I've also had the problem that either the glue isn't strong enough and starts to come off, especially further in towards the eye. Or they stick very hard and hurt to take off, and stay on the natural lashes so you have to pick at them to get them off later. This glue was none of that. It held perfectly, but when I took them off, it didn't hurt, nor did it leave any glue behind. Long and beautiful.
These lashes were pretty much my style. I have long natural lashes. When I put on lashes, I need some that are long and thick for them to even show. At the same time, I don't want thick "masks" on my eyes. These were actually perfect for that. They were long but not too "masty" and could still be assumed to be my own lashes without it being obvious that I have false lashes. I wish they sat on the whole eye and not just on the outer edge. But all in all, I was very satisfied and could really wear them again. Everyday Lashes
These were nice. I appreciate lashes that extend over the whole eye since I have long natural lashes. But these blended in very well, as they are longer on the outer edges and get shorter and shorter the further in on the eye they sit. These would probably look good even without makeup. They are light and thin and blend seamlessly into the natural lashes. I think these would also work without curling the natural lashes. Multispray mint and cucumber
So it was time to leave a review on this spray from #csoaps that I have been testing for a while now in the capacity of #influtester Who doesn't love a good multispray? I am however extremely picky when it comes to this - I only want Cillit Bang… So I was at least skeptical about how this would hold up compared to Cillit. Design-wise this one is so much prettier, and it is ecocertified which appeals to me a lot. Csoaps makes a big deal out of what they DO NOT put in their bottles, no toxic substances here! The spray is also vegan. It is easy to use, sprays evenly and well! Smells nice of mint, I can't smell the cucumber. Results then? Relatively good. It doesn't tackle the most ingrained stains, but for those you have (if the surface isn't too delicate) the wonderscrub in the same series. The price is somewhat high, but sure, it is an ecocertified and vegan product, which costs. Will I buy this again? Probably not… I like Cillit Bang's results and price point too much for it not to be Cillit again, I think. Multifunctional product 😍
I tested the viral #CLINIQUE lip oil in the shade Black Honey. Clinique's products are already familiar to me in the skincare range, but I haven't tried the brand's makeup before. Clinique's lip products have been on my shopping list for a long time, so I was excited to test this product! 😌💋 As a lip oil, the product has surprisingly a lot of pigment. The applicator is small and precise, but when layering the product, the result easily looked messy, and it was hard to apply it evenly. The small applicator is also not very handy for applying blush. I found the best way for myself was to first apply the product to the back of my hand and then use a makeup sponge to bring color to my face. The oil works better if there is no other makeup on the face, and it would definitely be a nice product for a no makeup look! 🫧 I really liked the consistency of the lip oil! 👌🏻 My lips stayed hydrated, and the oil didn't feel sticky. I don't plan to use the product as blush in the future, as it's hard to apply without disturbing the foundation underneath. The price for such a lip oil is quite high. 🤔 However, I could consider buying this again, but in a slightly different shade. Perfect for you with pigmentation!
I got, as a Lyko Influtester, the TOTALLY fantastic opportunity to test this LED mask from Silk’n. A magical mission! Thank you! 🫶🏻 My skin is quite uncomplicated today, but I have had my fair share of problem skin when I was younger. So a few small traces of that are probably still left. I also feel that my skin has started to feel a bit saggy (😂) and shiny, so I was most excited to see if the mask could help on that front, and maybe reduce some small signs of aging that have started to show up… In addition, I have, during the summers, a larger skin pigmentation on my forehead from careless sunbathing in my younger days. (Wow, that sounds like I’m 100. I’m not. I’m 34). The pigmentation doesn’t really bother me, but I was a bit curious to see if the mask could reduce it. It became something a bit more concrete to test. I have tested the mask for two months, and after getting used to it according to the instructions, I have used it daily (the EMS function should not be used more than max 3 times/week). The mask has four different settings, and I have mainly used setting 1 (focus on fine lines and wrinkles as well as lifting effect) and setting 2 (focus on pigmentation, redness, and uneven skin tone). The first two to three times feel a bit unusual maybe - no pain or discomfort, just unusual. But now I think it’s incredibly nice and relaxing to use. Almost like I’m falling asleep, actually 😄 With the EMS function on, it feels like a little facial massage. Perfect end to the day! And the result? ⭐️ - The pigmentation on my forehead has decreased significantly, it’s actually almost gone. See upper before and after picture. - I see no significant difference regarding my existing fine lines on my forehead. However, it could be that the mask prevents the emergence of new ones. - My skin looks firmer and more radiant, and some small blemishes have decreased (see lower before and after picture - but unfortunately, I don’t think it shows as well in the pictures as in reality). The only negative thing I have to say about the mask is the Velcro straps. I can’t quite get the lower strap right every time. It sits too far down to be able to tighten as tightly as the upper strap. This leads to the mask sitting a bit unevenly, and not sitting properly everywhere, without me having to press a little myself with my hands. At least if I’m sitting/standing up, lying down it works fine. A minor detail really, but it’s still about 3995kr so worth mentioning. It gets a high rating from me as I believe it delivers what it promises. I had high expectations and I think it lives up to them! I was a little skeptical about this lip balm since I've heard and read a lot of different things, but this one really hit the spot for me ✨ It provides good moisture and leaves the lips soft and hydrated!
