Pure magic!
As a #LYKOINFLUTESTER, I got to try this invisible+ patch from #HERO. I’ve been a big fan of acne patches for a while and recently have become a frequent user, testing several different brands. This one is definitely a top 3, I must say. Easy to apply, stays on well, and lasts all day even in sweaty heat waves 🥵👌. However, I’ve been plagued by pimples this summer that never really reach a mature stage, and unfortunately, these patches are pretty ineffective then. I’ve still used them, and they work well as a barrier to avoid picking and irritating more. This invisible variant also made the pimples less noticeable and hid them quite a bit. That said, I’ve had some that actually turned yellow, and that’s the stage when, according to the manufacturer, you should use these. They work great then! The patches really draw out the impurities once you get to that point, and afterwards a large part of the redness is gone too. This variant is truly invisible compared to the original patch, but otherwise, I’d say the products are equal in quality. I also think the price is reasonable, so I will definitely buy again. Very satisfied
As a #lykoinflutester, I got to try this original patch from #hero. I have been a big fan of acne patches for a while and recently have become a frequent user, trying several different brands. This one is definitely a top 3, I must say. Easy to apply, stays on well, and doesn’t come off even if you’re a helicopter in bed when you sleep, and it does its job. However, I’ve been plagued by pimples this summer that never really reach a mature stage, and unfortunately, these patches are quite ineffective then. I have still used them, and they work well as a good barrier to avoid picking and further irritation. That said, I have had some that actually turned yellow, and that is the stage when, according to the manufacturer, you should use these. They work great then! Not for me
I have, as #lykoinflutester, had the chance to try this nose patch from #hero. Unfortunately, it was not a hit for me, I have to say, and I will not buy it again. It might be that I am simply incompetent when it comes to application, but I found it very difficult to get it on properly. Every time I tried to remove the patch from the protective plastic, I managed to fold it at one end. So all applications ended with it being folded at least on one side. It wrinkled on my nose and also got stuck on my piercings (which of course is to be expected when you have your nose full of stuff 😅), but the combination of it being folded, wrinkled skin, and getting stuck on my jewelry became a sensory nightmare and I had to get up in the middle of the night to take off the patch to be able to sleep. At that point, the next nightmare began, you could say, "comes off gently" is not really something I can stand behind. It felt like I was tearing off my own skin at the same time 😱. I have tried both pulling quickly, prying slowly, and tried pulling on the side of the patch to "stretch" it off instead. Nothing gave a better result and the skin burned afterwards. This was simply not for me and I couldn't manage to test all the patches because it just hurt. Did it do what it was supposed to? Raspberry
As an influencer tester, I got to try products from Lumene, which happens to be one of my go-to brands already, so the excitement was total! My first impression was that the Lip Glow Oil Balm in the shade raspberry comes in a sleek packaging in the perfect size to carry in your bag if you want to touch up on the go. It’s easy to get just the right amount out with the applicator, and the design feels like it allows you to get the last drops out as well. Besides the beautiful design, it smells heavenly and tastes just as good, basically like a little dessert treat on your lips! The lips feel moisturized and soft for a long time, and the lip oil gives a nice subtle tint on the lips that lasts even longer. Even after eating and drinking all day, I felt there was a hint of color left on the lips, even though the gloss had of course disappeared. It feels like a perfect description that it shines like a gloss and moisturizes like a lip balm. I have nothing to complain about and will definitely try other shades as well. Shade 1.75
As an influencer, I got to test products from Lumene, which happens to be one of my go-to brands already, so the excitement was total! Especially since for several years now, I have exclusively used Lumene's CC cream instead of foundation. I tested the Blur Even Cover foundation in shade 1.75. I think it has a sleek packaging in a small and handy size. It also has a light liquid formula that's easy to get out of the packaging, though I'm really a sucker for tubes to really get the last bit out when you reach the end. It's described as "providing high even coverage with a light feel," and I can only agree. I'm generally very "rosy" in my face and have some pimples; the foundation does a perfect job covering that and preventing all my emotions from showing on my face, which easily happens when I get stressed or exert myself as everything flares up immediately. At the same time, my birthmarks are still visible, and it doesn't give a heavy or cakey feeling or look like a regular foundation does. For exactly that reason, I basically only use CC cream otherwise and never foundation, but this one hits all the points I'm after. This lady rarely goes for full glam these days, usually aiming for natural everyday makeup, which this one nails. It promises 16 hours of wear, and I have nothing to argue against; it holds up and looks just as nice right after applying makeup as after a tough night shift at work or a day in the sun. I've used it both with and without powder, mostly depending on whether I wanted a more matte look or a real summer glow. Medium brown
As an influtester, I got to try products from Lumene, which happens to be one of my go-to brands already, so the excitement was total! Unfortunately, this product didn’t quite make it all the way and is actually the only one that doesn’t get full marks from me. But starting with the positive, as usual with Lumene, it has a sleek packaging, it’s easy to twist up the stick, and you get just the right amount to work with when applying. I think the shade is very nice and the product is easy to blend into the skin. It feels nice and doesn’t get cakey or leave sharp edges. Where it falls flat is that the color kind of disappears as soon as you start blending it into the skin, and even when you apply more, you don’t really get much color left. Maybe I simply chose the wrong shade, but I’m still quite pale since I work night shifts and haven’t caught any sun yet 💔, so going for the darkest shade didn’t feel quite right when I chose the shade, and that’s why I tried medium brown. I’m no makeup guru, but the multi/bronzer sticks I usually use simply give me a result I like better. Perfect everyday mascara
As #lykoinflutester, I got to test this mascara from #maxfactor. I had the luxury of heading off on a sunny vacation just when it was time for the product test, so it had to withstand both rain and summer heat at the same time, more thorough testing than that probably won't happen! To start with, I think it was a very nice and sleek packaging for the mascara on the outside. I was also very happy when I opened it because a rubber brush is my favorite applicator for mascara. It gave just the right amount of product, was a good black shade, and felt perfectly “wet” if you understand what I mean. Some mascaras seem to be dried out even before you open them for the first time. I don't have much to cheer for my own lashes, or rather, they are there in terms of quantity, but they are light, short, and don't give any direct oomph! One stroke gave an immediate lift and worked well for everyday use🤩. It was possible to build it up a bit, but it didn't give huge volume. The length, however, was immediately noticeable that it delivered results. As I said, I have had the chance to use it in both rain and sun, and it holds up well without smudging, what I did experience was that it became dry and flaked off in small pieces after a few hours. I assume that has to do with the formula that is supposed to make it easily slide off in fibers when you wash it off. What surprised me, however, was that it could be “scratched” out of the eyes dry, and it flaked off easily, but when I actually wanted to wash it off with just warm water, which is supposed to work, it did exactly like other mascaras and turned gray/black under the eyes, which was hard to remove without any form of cleansing. So instead, I had to rub properly and eventually resort to taking out my cleansing anyway. Summary: - nice design - easy to apply - gives immediate good length - does not settle under the eyes or run off in its entirety. - does not start to run off in the rain. - becomes dry and starts to flake - is not as easy to wash off as it claims - does not give volume if that is what you are looking for in a mascara. Price-wise, definitely worth it, I would say. Neither the most expensive nor the cheapest on the market, and it holds most of what it promises. Even though it’s a bit disappointing that it becomes so dry and flakes off by the afternoon, I prefer that over a formula that just runs off and settles as streaks or larger color spots under the eyes. Summery Scent
As #LYKOINFLUTESTER I got to test this scent from #rebeccastella. I love trying new scents and am constantly on the hunt for new favorites here at home, so it was incredibly fun with this particular task! The scent is supposed to contain notes of lemon and orange blossom, something I was so excited about since I am a real citrus lover! 🍋💛 But I was actually a bit disappointed because they are not prominent at all. Instead, it smells sweet, like candy. I even got the comment that I smelled like fizzy pop, and I have to agree. However, that doesn't mean that the scent itself isn't good, but it just wasn't what I expected when I read about the scent notes in it. I find the scent to be very youthful and summery 🌸, I must say, so it doesn't really fit the season right now. But moving into spring, it will probably be a real success! It is quite clear that it is an Edt since the scent disappears relatively quickly, I am probably more of an Edp person, so the scent lasts all day. The advantage of it being an Edt, however, is that I, working in healthcare, have been able to take a spritz at home during the day and then go to my night shift in the evening without the scent lingering since I can't wear perfumes during work hours. Price-wise, I would say it is a bit too expensive for my taste when the scent doesn't last longer, however, it is undoubtedly worth it price-wise since it is now on a 50% discount campaign. New favorite!😻
As #lykoinflutester I got to try this #urbandecay setting spray and it quickly became a new favorite! I never jumped on the hype surrounding this magical setting spray because I had other brands that suited me very well, but I regret that now. However, it became all the more exciting to try something new for the first time. So what did I like? If we start with the appearance, I think the bottle is sleek and pretty, and the fact that it is black is an extra plus for this alternative lady. It is also a convenient size to take with you in your bag. When it comes to the distribution of the spray, this was in a whole new class compared to other brands I have used for a long time, it gives a really good distribution and a spray covers a large area, which means you can use less spray than you do with other brands. I find it to be scent-free, which is a plus for me. It also does not irritate my skin, which can otherwise be a bit sensitive. The makeup stays put, in the pictures there is both a neutral makeup look before a 10-hour shift at work (it also rained on the way there) and a slightly more festive makeup look with very pigmented eyeshadow. Before on the left, after on the right. Both times the makeup stayed in place without any problems exactly where it should. Since I am chronically ill, I have a need to take a little nap during the day for recovery, and the makeup stayed put even though I flail around like a helicopter when I sleep and rub my cheeks right into the pillow. Did not suit me
I have as #lykoinflutester been testing #silkn LumiLips for a few weeks now and unfortunately it did not suit my skin even though I thought it suited my lips well. I noticed after about the fourth use that I became incredibly dry and flaky in the skin around my mouth and down on my chin where the mask took, no matter how much I moisturized, nothing worked at all with continued use, so eventually I took a little break from the mask and my skin recovered again. When I spaced out the use, it worked a little better but instead did not give the same good results on the lips, and then it didn't feel completely worth it anyway. However, I seem to be the only one who has experienced this when I read the reviews that are available at the time of writing, so maybe it’s just that I have way too sensitive skin. Super disappointing since I, as a former filler user, was so excited to get results without the pain, bruising, and extreme swelling at the beginning 😅. What did I like then? + sleek mask, it both looks and feels luxurious at first glance. + smooth description and easy to use. + experienced the lips much more moisturized after use! + easy to charge and it is clear when it needs to be charged, when it is charging, and when it is fully charged. + incredibly good that it independently shuts off after the expiration time so you don’t have to sit with a timer. + good with two different programs to choose what you want to focus on for results. + good price! What did I not like? - that my skin around the mouth did not want to accept the mask, I became dry and flaky and it could not be changed no matter how much I tried to moisturize it. - experienced that my hyperpigmentation around the lips got worse rather than better after use. - experienced no direct plumping effect when I had to space out the use due to the skin. - a bit too easy to accidentally hit the program button if you adjusted the mask in your mouth and then it beeped directly even if it was unintentional. Overall, I really think this is a good product if the skin doesn’t react like mine did, because I still saw results in the beginning before I needed to pause and then space out the use of the mask.
