I find it more economical than a dry dry shampoo because you only spray one shot at a time. I usually do two rounds to get the desired result. One downside is that the mist is not very fine. When I spray, it sputters a bit, which makes the application less even. I've also noticed that sometimes there can be a single white spot on the face when the product has dried, but that doesn't happen often. One thing I did react to, however, is that the texture remained in the scalp even after I showered and shampooed 3-4 times. That is a clear minus. Another, and quite big, minus is the price. I like the product, but I simply think it is way too expensive. I sprayed the product two days in a row, which I always do to really make the hair look as freshly washed as possible. Overall, I am still positively surprised! I don’t feel a big difference but still think it does something. It feels like my hair strands have become a bit stronger but I also don’t know 100% if this product specifically contributed to that. Many hype this up to the skies and I think it requires a lot of time and continuous use to see bigger results if you don’t have incredibly, incredibly damaged and bleached hair. However, the technology and ingredients seem promising so based on that they should have done something. I’ve used it for 9 months so I will continue to use it and see if I notice a bigger difference so I’ll get back!! I use it as Abbey Young recommends since my lengths need lots of moisture so you let it work for 4 minutes after deep cleansing shampoo and then put in conditioner and rinse out. I think this method works better as I feel I get more moisturized hair this way while also getting the repairing properties from K18. However, in my opinion, it doesn’t quite live up to the hype. Many describe the feeling as if the hair is freshly washed, but I don’t agree. I can still feel that I have dry shampoo in my hair, which is something I really dislike. I’ve also noticed that it can leave white spots if you’re not careful, which is a shame considering the price. For almost 600 kronor, I expected a product that is completely invisible in the hair and gives an even better result. I actually think Batiste does pretty much the same job when it comes to removing the greasy feeling and giving the hair a fresher look but at a fraction of the price. However, K18 is probably a better option for the hair in the long run, as it has a greater focus on hair health and uses a gentler formula. It’s a good dry shampoo that effectively removes greasy hair, but not good enough to justify the high price. Here’s what my shower routine looks like right now: 🫧 1. Shampoo I start with Schwarzkopf BlondMe Repair Brightening Shampoo. It cleans the hair thoroughly while feeling gentle. 🌸 2. Shower cream While the shampoo does its job, I use my absolute favorite, the shower cream from Rapsodine. It smells fantastic and leaves the skin soft. 🚫 3. No conditioner When I use K18, I skip the conditioner, just as the product recommends. 💛 4. K18 After towel-drying my hair, I apply about 3 pumps of K18, which I distribute evenly through the lengths. Then I let it work for at least 4 minutes before gently brushing through my hair. 🌿 5. Air drying I always let my hair air dry. Since I try to minimize damage as much as possible, I avoid heat whenever I can. This is the routine that works best for me right now.
