I got to buy this at a ridiculously good price as #lykocreator and I don’t regret it! The shampoo is truly a perfect match for my bleached thin hair 💕 It’s actually the first product I own from K18 Hairscience and I can safely say it won’t be the last I buy. Dry
Dry product, so a little goes a long way and since I don’t use it more than once a week except in the beginning when I used this every wash the first 5 washes as recommended. I don’t feel a big difference but still think it does something. It feels like my hair strands have become a bit stronger but I also don’t know 100% if this product specifically contributed to that. Many hype this up to the skies and I think it requires a lot of time and continuous use to see bigger results if you don’t have incredibly, incredibly damaged and bleached hair. However, the technology and ingredients seem promising so based on that they should have done something. I’ve used it for 9 months so I will continue to use it and see if I notice a bigger difference so I’ll get back!! I use it as Abbey Young recommends since my lengths need lots of moisture so you let it work for 4 minutes after deep cleansing shampoo and then put in conditioner and rinse out. I think this method works better as I feel I get more moisturized hair this way while also getting the repairing properties from K18. For me, who works out daily, it has been difficult to find a dry shampoo that works for me. Batiste vs K18
After trying these two dry shampoos, I will go back to Batiste. The main reason is the price and the spray applicator. The biggest downside of Batiste is that it sometimes makes my scalp itch, but I can live with that since it also helps me with my hair color. Not worth almost 600kr
Absolutely does its job when it comes to making hair look less greasy and freshening it up between washes. However, in my opinion, it doesn’t quite live up to the hype. Many describe the feeling as if the hair is freshly washed, but I don’t agree. I can still feel that I have dry shampoo in my hair, which is something I really dislike. I’ve also noticed that it can leave white spots if you’re not careful, which is a shame considering the price. For almost 600 kronor, I expected a product that is completely invisible in the hair and gives an even better result. I actually think Batiste does pretty much the same job when it comes to removing the greasy feeling and giving the hair a fresher look but at a fraction of the price. However, K18 is probably a better option for the hair in the long run, as it has a greater focus on hair health and uses a gentler formula. It’s a good dry shampoo that effectively removes greasy hair, but not good enough to justify the high price. I have only tried the product once so far, but it had an immediate effect on my blonde hair. If I don’t use cleansing shampoo and purple shampoo for a couple of washes, the hair gets a noticeably yellow/orange tint and generally looks darker. After one wash with this, the hair looks completely fresh, clean, and cool again, without leaving the hair grayish. I like the idea that this is both cleansing shampoo and purple shampoo in one. Easy to apply – shake the bottle well and take a couple of pumps of foam in your hands before applying it all over the hair. I only needed 2 pumps to cover all my hair. Very good consistency and easy to spread when it’s foam – I especially liked that! I’m going to the hairdresser to freshen up my highlights this week and am curious how the product will behave in the hair afterwards.
