Great product
I have been testing this product for a while, and I was pleasantly surprised. My skin is combination, and I found that it applied very nicely all over my face. Color 903 was perfect for my skin, and it alone makes me look a bit sun-kissed. Under makeup, it gives a light glow and a more even skin tone overall (if the foundation isn't full coverage by itself) The reason I don't give it a full score is that I have tested similar products that I like better, though with a steeper price tag. If you want a good product at a fair price, this is definitely worth trying. Recommended. #lykoinflutester #lorealparis1 product in post Great product143 views - The user's roll: Lyko Creator. Very good primer
I've been using this consistently in my routine for the past few weeks and I'm very satisfied with the results. It's easy to apply (you need very little), absorbs relatively quickly, but is "sticky" long enough for you to apply foundation. I like that it's a bit sticky because I find it improves the longevity. For info, I have combination skin with a slightly oily T-zone and drier cheeks and chin. My skin stays covered without spots all day, even when I'm busy, touching my face a bit, or getting a little light rain on my face. Lines also appear less pronounced. Great product, seems economical in use, very reasonable price, so it gets a full score. If I had to take off points for something, it would be the cap, it falls off easily. #konkurranse #lykoinflutester #nyxprofessionalmakeup1 product in post Very good primer170 views - The user's roll: Lyko Creator. Nothing special
In the battle between all the different leave-in products, this one unfortunately loses with flying colors, at least in my bathroom shelf. It falls a bit in between since it’s not heat-protective, doesn’t give volume or particularly much moisture. There’s only so much you want to slap into your hair after a shower? I received this as #lykoinflutester and tried it for the first few weeks along with the shampoo and conditioner from the same line, but after a couple of weeks I stopped - I got the desired effect from the hair wash and wanted to prioritize other products after washing, plain and simple. This didn’t make any difference, if anything, maybe leaning towards the negative. My hair became a bit drier than usual, or maybe frizzy as several others have mentioned. That can be positive if you struggle with styling holding, but I don’t need that in my hair. I’d rather have more moisturizing leave-in, or heat protection. Smells good, spreads nicely in the hair, but as mentioned, not something I need in my routine unfortunately. I recommend the shampoo and conditioner from the same line though. #waterclouds #konkurranse1 product in post Nothing special136 views - The user's roll: Lyko Creator. Positively Surprised
I have used this conditioner along with shampoo and leave-in spray from the same series about once a week for a month, and I noticed a clear difference after the first use. I supplemented with other products for the other hair washes, as it is not recommended to use this every time. The hair can become both gray and dry. My hair is brown, but highlighted/bleached, and can quickly turn orange and yellow in tone. I felt this significantly removed a lot of it after just one wash, without me having to leave it unnecessarily long in my hair. I am not a patient person when it comes to masks and similar, so the product usually doesn't get more time than it takes to clean the shower or possibly shave (😅). Max a couple of minutes, in other words. The hair was well moisturized and the yellow and orange color was toned down, and the hair became generally much cooler in tone. I forgot to take a picture, but I will try to do it when the contrast is again possibly large - now I have used this for a while :( The only negative I have to mention is the consistency. It is very runny, so runny that I considered asking if there was something wrong with the products I received - but I see that there are several with the same experience, so it is as it should be. This makes it a bit harder to apply, I think, so better to take a little at a time in several rounds. I use it after cleansing shampoo, followed by the shampoo in the same series, before I finish with either conditioner or hair mask. I brush through easily with a brush in the shower when the conditioner is in, to spread it well and get an even tone - my light hair is mainly in the length and not in the scalp. I don't think this provides enough moisture, and therefore I have to use a mask or another conditioner afterwards, but then the result is good. I use it as shampoo number 2 after a clarifying shampoo, followed by the conditioner in the same series, before I finish with either conditioner or hair mask. I brush through easily with a brush in the shower when the conditioner is in, to spread it well and get an even tone - my light hair is mainly in the length and not in the scalp. The shampoo makes my scalp feel a bit oilier faster, but that is manageable. I think it helps with the clarifying shampoo. Very moisturizing mask
My first impression of the mask is that it has a very luxurious packaging that I really like, but that it is very small (200ml) - this is probably the smallest jar of hair mask I have ever had. I quickly understand why the size is what it is, because the mask is incredibly economical in use. I have hair down to my lower back and I needed no more than a small tablespoon for all my hair. The scent is a bit like the perfume of an older lady, or like a typical "spa product". I can't say it's the best scent I've smelled, but it's not bad either. The consistency is rich, almost like a body butter. After washing, the hair feels deeply moisturized, so you definitely notice the effect. However, it is a bit on the heavy side for my hair, so even though I stick to the lengths and down, my hair quickly becomes heavy and lifeless, and also quite quickly greasy. I think this is best suited for those with very thick or curly hair, and that a lighter consistency like Silk Bloom would suit me better. For my part, unfortunately, there will be no repurchase because of this, but I am 100% sure that it is a good product for other hair types and am very interested in trying a lighter mask from the same brand. One could say that it has a high price, but considering how economical this product is and that it has quite good ingredients, I think the price can be justified. I am definitely not scared off by the price in terms of testing a mask from another series. #shuuemura #smartson #konkurranse #lykoinflutester *I am participating in a test panel and have received a free test product.1 product in post Very moisturizing mask442 views - The user's roll: Lyko Creator. Pretty okay scent, but heavy
I received this as #lykoinflutester and have used it a couple of days here and there to form an opinion. The first impression is good, as the bottle is absolutely gorgeous, but unfortunately the scent itself doesn't hit particularly well with me. My scent favorites are Memo Paris's Lalibela Oud, Diptique's Fleur de Peau, Versace’s Dylan Purple Pour Femme, and Zadig & Voltaires This is her. The only similarity this perfume has to these is that it contains musk, but that is not what stands out in this perfume. I think it smells a bit fruity - it contains orange blossom, so I assume that's what I'm sensing. It also has a soapy note, probably from lavender. I would absolutely not say that the perfume is bad, it is good and I know that it is many people's absolute go-to perfume, but for me the notes were off, and it is quite strong/intense. I also struggle a bit with migraines and this triggers me throughout the day. I recommend stopping by a store and testing it - it might be a big favorite for you, but I tend not to like perfumes that are "on the top list" in general. #ysl #konkurranse1 product in post Pretty okay scent, but heavy - The user's roll: Lyko Creator. Great product
I have been using this powder for several months and am very satisfied with it. I prefer to use it in the shower after cleansing my skin normally. Then I take the powder directly into a damp hand, gently press my hands together before applying it to my face. It’s an art to get the right consistency at first, but it becomes completely natural over time. This way, the grains still remain a little present, not completely gone, which is how I like it. You can also massage a bit more in your hands if you don’t want that. You need very little at a time, so you have to pour the product out carefully to avoid wasting it. I apply the scrub for about a minute before rinsing, and then my skin is silky soft. I focus on the T-zone and notice a big effect there when I use it regularly. The skin becomes completely smooth, not tight, dead skin is gone, and you get a nice glow. A bit pricey, but it’s worth it. Since I use other active ingredients in my skincare routine, I stick to 2-3 times a week, and that’s perfect for me. The scrub is very mild and can basically be used daily even by those with sensitive skin. It also works well if you have discoloration from previous pimples on your face, I find that it has a brightening effect after about 1-2 weeks of regular use. If you like Sensai's silk purifying powder, you will also like this one. I like both a lot and will probably switch between them, as they are equally good and in the same price range. #lykoinflutester #dermalogica #konkurranse1 product in post Great product415 views - The user's roll: Lyko Creator. Very good day cream
I must admit that I am actually one of those who prefers day cream and sunscreen separately to ensure that I get good enough protection. Now that it is winter, such a product is still quite practical, as I have noticed that I often skip sunscreen and choose skin cream instead - and one should use sunscreen all year round :) I have gotten a very good impression of the cream. It applies nicely to the skin without whitecast, doesn't smell too much, and absorbs relatively quickly, but not completely. The skin is still a bit sticky a couple of minutes later, which I personally like, as it gives a nice glow and a good base for makeup to sit better throughout the day. Good ingredients and I can tell that my skin likes this. 1-2 pumps on the face is enough. Good multiproduct. A bit expensive for just a sunscreen, but one must take into consideration that this is also an active day cream. Then the price is quite reasonable. A small but here it is; the product contains a number of fragrance substances and may be irritating if you have sensitive skin, including limonene, which many can react to. There are also several oils, including clove oil.. Chemical sunscreen (Avobenzone + Octinoxate) - can be irritating if you have a compromised skin barrier after retinol, for example. So take another look at the ingredients if you are sensitive or acne-prone. My combination skin has not reacted :) #lykoinflutester #dermalogica #konkurranse1 product in post Very good day cream83 views - The user's roll: Lyko Creator. Overpriced
I was initially very positive about this product as I am a big fan of oils in the evening during winter. Unfortunately, I have to say that I am quite disappointed.. The container is a bit hard to understand and the pipette inside picks up very little. You get the feeling that the container has very little product, which is annoying when you need to use 4-6 drops for the whole face per use. I actually think 6 drops were still quite little to be able to massage, which is what you are supposed to do. I did like the oil itself, it doesn’t smell bad in my opinion and gives a somewhat luxurious feeling. It moisturizes well and gave me a nice glow, both right after application and the morning after. My skin liked it (I have combination skin), but I didn’t see any exceptional effect beyond moisture. My conclusion is that it is a perfectly okay facial oil, but when you take into account how little it lasts along with the price, I can’t help but give it a bad score. When I received the product, I thought it probably cost around 700-800, even that is at the top end in my opinion for a facial oil… Maybe I’m using the product completely wrong, but I probably won’t buy this myself when it’s empty. #lykoinflutester #dermalogica1 product in post Overpriced102 views- The user's roll: Customer service at Lyko. The comment was made 2 monthsHi Helene❤️ Thank you so much for taking the time to write such a thorough and honest review 💛 It is very helpful for both us and other customers. We completely understand that you feel disappointed when the packaging is impractical, the dropper doesn’t pick up enough product, and you’re left with the feeling that the content is little – especially when you need several drops per use. It’s entirely understandable that this affects the overall experience, particularly considering the price. So nice to hear that the oil itself provided good moisture, a nice glow, and was well received by your skin, but we also see that it didn’t feel like a product that offered anything beyond what you expect from a facial oil in this price range. We really appreciate you sharing both the positive and what didn’t work for you – such feedback truly helps us move forward 🙏💛1 likes
