My K18 routine
2026 is going to be the year that I take extra good care of my hair. So of course I need K18, I use it about 1-2 times a month. For it to work as well as possible, the hair must be completely clean. That’s why I go in with a clarifying shampoo from Malibu C. After that, I towel dry my hair and then go in with K18. I’m careful to section my hair so that each strand gets product on it. I let it sit for at least 4 minutes before I go in with my leave-in products. I have been using Maria Nila's Power Powder for a year now and have really tested the results it gives! I apply it near the roots after styling my hair with a hot brush or curling iron, and it really gives a lift to the hairstyle. My hair is quite heavy, but the powder still manages to give the volume I'm looking for. I find the application can be a bit tricky as I experience that the hair gets very sticky if you spray the powder TOO close to the roots. I've always had trouble getting curls to hold, no matter what I've used. I got a feeling when I saw that GA.MA's new multistyler was 50 percent off, and wow, it delivered better than expected! 🤯 It has three heat settings and a cool shot mode. I've tested all the attachments except the diffuser for curls. It gives me: ✨️ Volume and a fantastic blowout ✨️ Perfect curls that last for several days even without a ton of products for hold. (Never happened to me before) ✨️ Silky smooth, shiny hair with the flat iron. ✨️ The paddle brush feels gentle when brushing with heat in half-damp hair after a shower. It also gives volume or flatter hair depending on how you choose to use it. 💭 I also like that it has three heat settings, so it feels gentler on the hair and I don't have to max out the heat. It's light in the hand and easy to work with. The only downside I can think of is that it sounds quite loud on the highest setting. But it also feels like a real turbo blower, so maybe that's quite reasonable.
