Nice birthday gift!
Ordered on Monday and picked it up at the post office today - very fast delivery! A bit less Lovable than the previous ones, but lots of nice content! I'm really looking forward to testing the UV lamp - a bit annoying that it only works with its own brand and isn't universal (from what I've read, haven't tested yet), but it will be fun to try at least 💅 The lip mask smells amazing - I'm just out of my Laneige Lip Mask, so it's perfect timing to try Mario Badescu's 😍 The blush stick has an incredibly nice color, so I'm excited to try it! The lipstick and gloss are probably a bit too dark for me, but I'll try them out - and the positive thing is getting to test them at this price! 💋💄 The body oil smells super good - can't stop smelling it 😍 Otherwise, I'm looking forward to testing both the eye masks and the Face Formula! I think it will have to be this weekend - I have a birthday this weekend, so this was my birthday gift to myself 🥰 (opened a bit early 🤫) The bag that comes with it is a bit weird as many say. I don't feel it can be used in any sensible way. I tried cutting off the bow, and then it's at least a bit less overwhelming - but still hard to reach into the bag. Very nice moisturizer – smells good, provides plenty of moisture, and absorbs quickly into the skin. Also seems soothing on my skin, which can easily get red. Very satisfied. I have combination skin with drier cheeks and a slightly oilier T-zone. The biggest downside is that it’s not the cheapest cream (but not the most expensive either), but I have many other good moisturizers that are much cheaper. Pretty decent
This works pretty well for me. I have combination skin and keep it in the shower. Love cleansers with a pump bottle – so practical in the morning routine, easy to dose, and little product goes to waste. It’s fragrance-free, which I personally find a bit boring, but many prefer that. I feel like it leaves a bit of a film on the skin after rinsing off, so only 4 stars. Hard consistency
I bought the entire cleansing series from Topz to test if it could work for me, but I'm not quite convinced. I have combination skin and double cleanse my skin in the evening. Previously, I was satisfied with Smuuti Sorbet Balm and House of Hur Cleansing Balm. First of all: I find this too hard in consistency. It feels like the consistency of coconut fat – completely solidified, and I find that I have to scoop it out of the jar with the included spatula (plus for that). Difficult to dose because of this – you can get too much or too little product depending on how much you scoop. When I get the product out, it has to be massaged into the face, but I don't think it dissolves properly, not even in the shower, so I push around a lump of “coconut fat” that dissolves slowly. It's also easy to lose the whole lump that has been scooped out down the drain while I try to maneuver the spatula back into the jar and close it again. It removes waterproof mascara for me, but maybe mostly with the help of warm water. When it is washed off the skin, I experience a film left on the skin, a bit plastic-like. It has no scent. That can be positive for some, but I prefer mild, pleasant scents. Nope, it probably does part of its job and removes makeup and sunscreen, and because I use a water-based cleanser afterwards, it balances out by removing the plastic film, so I will use it up, but there will be no repurchase even though it is affordable. #lykoreview1 product in post Hard consistency118 views - The user's roll: Lyko Creator. Very good!
Have been using this shampoo for quite a while now, and am very satisfied! Feels like it cleans the scalp well, adds moisture and shine to the hair, and is very affordable! Also smells good and causes no irritation on my scalp. Nice heat protectant
I think this smells good, is easy to distribute in the hair, and I feel it provides good protection for the hair, both against heat and UV rays. Okay enough, but
Got this in a Lovables box and have tested it over a period. It works okay if you follow the instructions – it must be applied on completely dry skin and rubbed in. Then you can feel the small grains that give a peeling effect, and it smells okay. I find it mild and effective as a peeling. The challenge is that as soon as you add water, it starts to smell like nasty vomit, and if you apply it in the shower when the skin is wet, the smell is very intense. Then these small grains that give the peeling effect disappear immediately, so the peeling effect is lost. If you apply it on dry skin and only wash off with water afterwards, it’s fine, but for me who likes to use peeling in the shower, this feels quite hopeless. Giving it three stars because it works okay if you only use it on dry skin, but not a favorite. It's hard to give these Lovables a bad rating, I notice – you get to try so many products at a very good price! Even though not all products are equally good, I give the package as a whole 5 🌟 because there's so much value in trying so many exciting things ❤️ I bought this Lovables a while ago, but I see I haven't written a review of it yet. The advantage is that I've now had time to test many products ❤️ Milk Hydro Grip Primer – does its job, makeup stays well. It's very small and runs out quickly. But good as long as it lasts. Ole Henriksen Strengt Trainer – velvety soft moisturizer. Not sure if it's so magical that it's worth the price, but it feels nice on the skin. A bit too small to see any results (I keep it in my travel toiletry bag). Powder Puff – very nice, works well, does its job. The Inkey List Tripeptide Plumping Lip Balm is a new favorite. Gives good moisture to the lips, and I find that the lips get a bit more plumped over time. Maria Åkerberg Scalp Treatment – smells good, doesn't make hair greasy after use. I've almost finished a bottle. Whether it helps the hair, I'm unsure, but it certainly doesn't harm. I've gotten much nicer hair lately, but I've also gotten better at using oil and other products that protect the hair, so I think it's a combination ☺️ I try to use it every day but often forget 😅 Mixsoon Bean Essence – not a favorite for me. I think it "flakes" a lot under skincare and makeup, everything applied on top just peeled off. So maybe I can use it as a peeling, but not as a serum/essence. Didn't cause any skin irritation but feels a bit "slimy". Geek&Gorgeous A Game 5 Night Cream – I like this one a lot, use it in the evening. Causes no irritation, nice texture, easy to spread. I've increased from every other evening to almost every evening, and my skin tolerates it well. Lovely 🤩
I was very skeptical about whether this color would be too light for me, and that it would be a bit "Barbie pink" – but I was tempted to try it since I've read so much about it and it looks so pretty on others 😍 I bought 303 Rose Tendre, and it's a lovely pink color, not "Barbie pink," but a bit more muted pink – very nice! I also liked the texture of the lipstick and it felt moisturizing on the lips (not like a lip balm, but like a nourishing lipstick). The staying power is so-so – it doesn't withstand everything and needs to be reapplied, but I feel that lipsticks often don't last very long before they disappear, and those that last a lot tend to dry out the lips a lot. Very good summer lovables!
Now it might be a bit late to write a review – since the product is already sold out – but I just received it today and am very satisfied! First of all – very happy that it was something other than yet another toiletry bag! I have so many toiletry bags now that I don’t know where to put them 🙈 A beach bag was just perfect! I’d love to see more bags than toiletry bags (if you ask me) – could also just bring a simple fabric shopping bag sometimes – not all lovables need to have a toiletry bag… But enough about the packaging – I’m even more satisfied with the contents! I see many react to the fact that there’s a lot of sunscreen included, but in a summer package (or beach bag) I feel that’s very natural. There are three sunscreens for the face and two for the body, and for me it’s fine to have enough sunscreen for the summer. This was one of the main reasons I bought the package – I thought it was a reasonable way to get good sunscreen (plus lots of other bonuses). I use sunscreen year-round, but in summer I do more touch-ups during the day, and then it’s gold to have sunscreen in the bag(s). So I’m looking forward to trying these! Otherwise, I’m maybe most excited to try DeoDoc’s shaving foam, Estelle & Thild’s body lotion (I love the scent of coconut, so this suited me very well!) and I’m very curious about Isadora’s Glow-stick. Plus everything else of course, but these were the products I’m most excited about 🥰 I don’t know much about Sol de Janeiro, and I’m pretty monogamous when it comes to perfumes (usually stick to one perfume at a time), so I’m thinking of giving this as an extra gift to my niece who has a birthday soon and has wished for these products as a gift. I’m also looking forward to testing the UV hair sprays – I often find that hair spray as UV protection runs out relatively quickly, so having 2 is good 👌 Absolutely a good Lovables – and I’m maybe a bit glad it’s already sold out, otherwise I could easily have ended up buying more 🙊😅 #lykoreview1 product in post Very good summer lovables!661 views
