Easy as a pancake!
As #lykoinflutester, I had the opportunity to test this eye makeup remover along with Lyko's micellar water Clean Queen. I have thus used them together to remove my makeup, the micellar water on my face and this on my eyes. I wear makeup almost daily, and relatively a lot (I think), so the product has been put to the test properly... and I am surprisingly satisfied! This is not a type of product that I usually use so often, I have a bottle of a similar type of product standing at home for when I use waterproof mascara, but otherwise I usually use oil cleansing. So at first I was a bit skeptical and unsure, but when I finally tried it, my reaction was the same as with the micellar water: oh how easy it is! I shake the bottle, pour some onto a cotton pad, and hold it against my eye for a little while to let the mascara start to dissolve. Most of the makeup then comes off in a single swipe, the mascara you have to work a little on, but that's nothing unusual. This remover is at least twice as good as the one from Essence that I had previously. I appreciate that it feels like a gentler way to remove makeup from the lashes compared to the rubbing that happens when you wash your face as usual. My skin feels completely fresh afterward, neither sticky nor oily or anything, possibly a little moisturized. You also don't need to rinse off this product, very convenient. I haven't experienced a hint of irritation from using it, even though I have very sensitive skin, especially around the eyes as I often have a bit of eczema there. It is completely fragrance-free, which we love, and it also comes in a bottle with a lovely pink color that pops in the bathroom. Honestly, I can't think of anything negative to say about it 🙂↔️, and next time I need a new eye makeup remover, I now know which one I will choose! Hint: it is NOT the one from Essence 😄 #lykoinflutester #bylyko #makeupremover1 product in post Easy as a pancake! - Rating: 5 out of 5Verifierad testare
Made me a Clean Queen 🙌
As #lykoinflutester I have been able to test this product over the past few weeks, and I must say that my eyes have been opened to micellar water! Usually, my cleansing routine consists of a cleansing oil/balm and then a water-based gel cleanser. Since I wear makeup daily, I have found that it feels freshest and best with a double cleanse that way, and it’s very easy to fall back into old habits 🤭 Regardless, I was happy when I found out I would be testing, thinking that micellar water is always good to have at home. For example, if something goes wrong when applying makeup. So that’s how I started using the product, and I was very pleased with the result. But if you’re going to test, you should test properly, so one evening I gathered my courage, poured a good amount of product onto a cotton pad, and started swiping away the makeup. And I thought WOW, how easy it is! I removed the worst with one pad and then took another for the finishing touches. My skin felt absolutely wonderful! This micellar water also contains amino acids, Nordic sugar beet, and glycerin, which tones the skin nicely. You are left both clean and hydrated, super lovely! I appreciate the gentle ingredients that won’t clash with anything in my remaining skincare routine. Briefly, I wanted to mention how micellar water works: In micellar water, there are micelles, spherical molecules that consist of hydrophilic (water-loving) and lipophilic (fat-loving) ends. They act like magnets that bind to the dirt and oil present on the skin. You always need to use micellar water together with something like a cotton pad, because when you apply micellar water to a cotton pad and swipe it over your face, dirt, oil, and makeup are drawn to the micelles and stick to the cotton pad. This allows you to effectively cleanse your skin without having to rub or rinse off. A toner can be used by patting it in with your hands, but micellar water is a cleanser used to remove makeup and dirt, and for that, you need a cotton pad to lift the makeup off the skin. I’m writing this because I know there are those who don’t quite understand the difference between a toner and micellar water 💕 Yes, this turned out to be quite long as usual 😂 I want to summarize by saying that I am super satisfied with this product, and even though I have only tried a few micellar waters before, I feel confident in my statement that this is a good product! I will continue to use it in my cleansing routine, alternating with my usual double cleanse. All thumbs up! #lykoinflutester #bylyko #micellärvatten1 product in post Made me a Clean Queen 🙌107 views- 2 weeksOh, I missed your review because we no longer get notifications when someone we follow posts something. ...I just have to share a picture of this incredibly beautiful birthday present that I got from Eliza yesterday! I was invited for coffee by her and another classmate from the program we took together, and just the company and coffee would have been a great gift. But no, this girl put together TEN beauty products that she presented in a nice pink bag 🥰 SO generous and thoughtful, beauty products are one of the most fun things I know, and every single one of these products is new to me, so everything is very exciting! Once again, a HUGE THANK YOU to you Eliza, I was really so happy 🎁😍🎊✨️5 products in post So...1449 views- 2 monthsLovely gift. Sounds like you really had a nice birthday..o hopefully nice weather. Yesterday I had the pleasure of finally (after various PostNord issues) picking up my prize from Sisheido at my post office! It’s three sunscreen products with SPF 50+, and quite perfect for me as I still haven’t found any good sunscreen that I like and therefore use. I hope one of these can be something for me 😊 Super happy that I won! Otherwise, it’s quiet, and on Saturday I’m turning 40! 😄 Hoping for nice weather so I can have the picnic I’ve planned 🌞 Take care everyone! 💛3 products in post SISHEIDO WIN 🤗- Rating: 5 out of 5verified customer
I'm becoming a big fan of Revox!
I'm currently on the last drop of this bottle, and I'm totally sure that it will be a repurchase, either right now or later. I always have some type of retinoid in my evening routine, and I use it every day as long as I notice that my skin can tolerate it. With this retinal serum, there have been no issues whatsoever, and that is one of the cornerstones of what makes an effective retinoid serum - that you can use it every day, or at least as often as possible. Retinal is generally said to be a bit gentler than retinol, plus it is more effective since it only needs one conversion before it can be absorbed by the skin, instead of two or more as is needed for retinol and retinyl esters. So why not choose retinal, I think! Well, my skin wasn't feeling particularly good when I started using this serum, I was very dry. But despite this, I have never felt a hint of this serum stinging or irritating. The serum is semi-thick (can't think of a better word...), transparent and has a yellow tone. The yellow color comes from the retinal, which naturally has that shade. However, it doesn't show on the skin. It sinks in easily, gently, and willingly. I might think it leaves a TINY bit of a film behind, but that disappears with the remaining skincare, and I haven't experienced this as anything unpleasant or problematic at all. I use this in the evening, after my toners and before the marine collagen + ha serum, which is also from Revox. I finish with a face cream. I like everything about this serum, from the price tag to the formulation and its effects. I think it helps keep my skin in the good condition it has been in lately. If you're wondering about the price tag and how good such a cheap product can really be, I can say that I wondered about that too. But the answer is: REALLY GOOD, obviously! And the truth is that I have liked almost everything I have tried from this brand, and my skincare routine currently consists of it for about half. And I am super satisfied! So I just want to recommend, it's so fun that you can test and experience good skincare without being half ruined 😍 #lykoreview #revox #serum #retinal1 product in post I'm becoming a big fan of Revox!2645 viewsto leave a comment - Rating: 2 out of 5
A little pointless...
I bought a full size of this product because I’ve heard good things about it and like everything I’ve tested from Dear Klairs so far. However, I can start by saying that this unfortunately didn’t do a thing for my skin. I’ve actually never tried a pure vitamin c serum before, as I’ve been worried that it would either irritate or not do any good. This has not been irritating, though. It’s a relatively lightweight serum in an airtight, opaque pump bottle. These are the best conditions for vitamin c not to oxidize and become ineffective. I like the bottle, and the pump mechanism works excellently. However, you have no idea where you are in usage, as you can’t see anything. I think the serum absorbs quickly and nicely into the skin without leaving any residue. It feels a bit moisturizing. I understand that you have to be consistent to see results from any skincare product, so I’ve been using this every morning after toner and before my beloved collagen serum from Revox. The positive thing is that it hasn’t caused any irritation in my skin or disturbed the skin barrier. My skin has recently been very dry and sensitive, so it could have easily gone that way. But this feels incredibly gentle - almost so gentle that I feel like nothing has happened at all, after just over half the bottle. I will continue to use up the product, but I won’t be repurchasing it. I also don’t know if I will invest in a new vitamin c serum, it might not be my thing. I have so many other products and ingredients that I really like, so I feel like I’m doing quite well anyway. Since this is my first vitamin c serum, it’s also a bit difficult to evaluate properly. But it still wouldn’t be a product that I would directly recommend, as I feel like it simply doesn’t do anything for the skin 🤭🤷🏼♀️ #lykoreview #klairs #serum #vitaminc I’ll add a picture later, I’m not home right now 😊1 product in post A little pointless...309 views- 3 monthsJohanna, I promise to come back with a review once I’ve tried it for a while 🤗🥰 This will be my first. This cream comes up when searching for face creams... But in the product text, I perceive it as a hand cream... all the way until the end of the text when it suddenly says "face cream"? But it goes in easily "in the hands"? Can someone please explain (and feel free to rephrase, get it right, too!) 🤔1 product in post ???va???117 views- Customer service at Lyko3 monthsHey there! First off, I understand that it can easily get a bit confusing ❤ We should definitely make sure that the text makes it a bit clearer and that one better understands its broad area of use! Such a gem!!
So, in the last few months, I have experienced a lot of dryness in my otherwise oily skin. I thought it was something temporary, but I think it has been quite persistent, and the fact is that I am soon turning 40 and my skin is changing. I am well-versed in skincare for oily skin, but when it comes to dryness, I don't know nearly as much. So it has been a learning experience! I bought this on a whim as I thought it sounded like something that would suit me, and I didn't want to spend too much money on something that would just sit there if my skin decided to change again. But I have used this morning and night EVERY DAY since I bought it, and I have loved it from start to finish! It is thick in consistency, not exactly "elegantly" formulated. It lays on the skin like a slightly sticky layer, but that sticky layer consists of MOISTURE, so I really haven't minded it. Additionally, I follow up with Geek&Gorgeous Happier Barrier cream, and then the "film" disappears. The only negative thing I have to say is that it isn't particularly economical, I find that it goes quite fast, and when I flew to Bergen over Easter, the bottle leaked a bit because the pipette was poorly screwed on (by me). So my bottle is now almost empty after not even a month of use. But what does it matter for 69 kr? Next time (very soon) I will buy two bottles at once. It feels a bit like the hyaluronic acid serum from The Ordinary, just even thicker. And I think it hydrates even better. I find it completely amazing, my skin has been very irritated, but this has only calmed it down. It is also completely fragrance-free and color-free. Comes in a brown, simple glass bottle with a dropper of 30 ml. As I see it, this product has directly contributed to saving my skin. Whether you are dry or oily, the skin benefits from moisture, and I have somewhat easily become converted. I find it hard to see my skincare routine in the future without this product! #lykoreview #revox #serum1 product in post Such a gem!!2770 views- Anna Chrissy, yes I think it's really great! Not Bad!
This is the first thing I’m trying from this brand, and I think it feels quite promising. I’ve been looking around, and Bandi has many interesting products! This is a face cream with SPF20, which I know isn’t enough, but I think it might be better than nothing, since I still haven’t found a proper sunscreen that I like and therefore use. The product comes in an airtight pump bottle of 50 ml, which is a smart format and a good amount. A fair amount comes out with the pump with each press, but I think that’s needed if you want to get that little bit of sun protection. The cream is formulated for oily skin and is supposed to give a matte result, I haven’t noticed that at all, but think it feels like a regular moisturizing cream, not matte what so ever. I would think it would work well for different skin types, I myself am oily by nature but have been very dry on the surface for the last few months. I’ve liked the hydration from this, but haven’t REALLY felt that it has been enough. But my skin is a bit extreme too, just like usual... 😑 It is lightly scented, but that doesn’t bother me at all because it smells good and not too much, it fades very quickly. The feel of it is really nice, and it has a fine consistency that is right in between thin and thick, it is pumpable. It absorbs into the skin in less than a minute, it is very comfortable to apply. There’s no white-cast. I think that if my skin had been like it usually is, I would have loved it, right now I like it. It’s also affordable. I recommend it as a light sunscreen/skin cream for oily, combination, and even normal skin, and it’s great under makeup! #lykoreview #bandi1 product in post Not Bad!2840 views- 3 monthsNo, you’re not! I don’t know what it is, but I’ve also had to add more moisture to my skincare routine, me who has been oily 🙈😂 Oh, I’m looking forward to hearing more about it! 🤗😍1 likes
