~Self-Care in a Jar~
It’s been a long time since I got a task as a #lykoinflutester, so I was really happy when I saw I had an incoming package. And the fact that it was from Swedish Xlash made me really excited, as I’ve never tried anything from them before. The product I was going to test is their multizone hydragel patches. I’m a beauty nerd through and through, but for some reason, I’ve never tried patches before! No under-eye patches or anything actually! So in a way, I’m not the best test person because I have nothing to compare with, but you’ll get my experience of the product anyway of course 😊 These patches are designed for different zones on the face (under the eyes, forehead, crow’s feet, and nasolabial folds) and come in three different shapes to fit the different zones. They contain lots of exciting ingredients, like ginseng PDRN and apple exosomes, and are supposed to work to build up the skin’s collagen bank and plump the skin. I’ve used these under the eyes, on the forehead, and on the nasolabial folds a couple of times a week. I’ve applied them in the evening on top of my skincare routine or in the morning before I do it. Of course, you don’t wash your face after using these. I think they feel moisturizing and nice. A little everyday luxury like that! One important thing is that I think they stick really well in place, so you can walk around with them on, which makes it easier. They literally drip with serum, and we like that! The jar they come in is nice, feels exclusive, and looks good in the bathroom cabinet. It also comes with a small spatula/spoon made of transparent plastic that you’re supposed to pick up the patches with (<- ?). This works so-so because they’re very slippery; I would have preferred a small plastic tweezer? All in all, I like these; it’s a bit of lovely self-care in a jar. Effect-wise, I’m a bit doubtful though; I don’t really feel it’s a miracle product, but I didn’t expect that either. The skin feels a little lightly plumped afterward maybe; it’s hard to see any direct difference, I think. Unfortunately, the price is on the high side for what I would consider paying for a product like this because I don’t think self-care should have to hurt SO much in the wallet. But that’s just my personal opinion, and I still want to give these 4 stars because I’ve enjoyed them and will continue to do so until the jar runs out 🥰 I tried to upload a video when I tested the product, but it doesn’t work to upload it in the app. So these pictures will have to do instead 🙄 #lykoinflutester #xlash1 product in post ~Self-Care in a Jar~30 views- The user's roll: Lyko Creator. I got swelling around my eyes when my ME worsened and pollen allergy and sinus problems appeared, so I use an eye mask almost every day. A favorite is Beauty Jars "Cool eyes liquid eye patches" - the jar lasts a couple of months🤑 Take care of yourself too - this heat isn't so kind to us pale ones😪 Shade is what matters now and🍉🥰1 likes

💜Surprisingly Gooood💜
💜 Tried this dry shampoo for the first time the other day and I just have to share how good it actually is! I feel like so many different dry shampoos claim they don’t leave any visible white residue in the hair, so I’ve almost stopped believing that. But this dry shampoo actually doesn’t make the hair white at all! I was totally shocked! At the same time, it’s a really good dry shampoo, not weak at all or anything. The hair really feels fresher after I’ve used this, but without getting a lot of build-up on the scalp. Well, maybe a little, since it contains tapioca starch, but nowhere near as much as other budget dry shampoos. Spray and leave it alone for about half a minute, then you can brush through the hair or mess it up a bit. Smells nice and a little berry-like but definitely not too much. Apparently contains UV protection. Haven’t noticed any reactions on my scalp even though I’m a bit sensitive at times. Really happy! And for 69 kr?? Wow! Will definitely buy this again! 💜 #lykoreview #wella #torrschampo1 product in post 💜Surprisingly Gooood💜283 views- The user's roll: Lyko Creator. 💸What I Bought With My #lykoreview Win, Part 2💸
This is what I bought for about the second half of my #lykoreview win, plus a couple hundred crowns. I worked long and hard on my cart and am really happy with this order because I got some good discounts on things I wanted + these sheet masks from COSRX that you got for free when you bought 2 products from the brand 🙌 🎀There was 50% off on #theinkeylist, so I bought their 360 Skin Clearing Serum that I've been eyeing for a little while. Haven't tried it before, so it will be fun. 🎀A Zinc PCA serum from #qanda, curious to try that ingredient on my oily skin to see if it can regulate the oil a bit. I've read it can work. 🎀A leave-in conditioner from #heartforheart, needed one and this one was on sale. 🎀Sunscreen from #cosrx that I've never tried but heard a lot of good things about. 🎀A face cream from #isntree with extract from red onion if I remember correctly, supposed to help even out acne scars. It was 73% off! 🎀A toner from #cosrx that was on sale and now can no longer be tagged. 🎀5 PDRN sheet masks from #cosrx that also can’t be tagged, seems like they were only available for a very short time. 🎀My favorite foundation from #lumene which was also on discount. Good to have a backup 😊 So now I have lots of new skincare to try, looking forward to it! 😋✨️ Hope you all have a nice and springy day, hugs! ☀️🌷🦋🪻🐞☀️6 products in post 💸What I Bought With My #lykoreview Win, Part 2💸759 views- The user's roll: Lyko Creator. Results as Expected!
I tried this color mask last night and I'm pretty okay with the result. I actually have quite light blonde, dyed hair and the length goes down below my breasts. I assume that since this is a color mask, you should probably apply it to damp hair, but in my experience, it always gives better results if you have it on dry hair. I also hadn't washed my hair for about five days before because they were busy retiling my bathroom 🙄, but I've heard that color sticks better to dirty hair than to freshly washed. I don't know, I'm really no hair expert, but apparently it worked. I left the color mask in for a little over an hour, thinking the longer the better 😇 However, it took a lot more product for dry hair than it would have for damp, I used almost the whole tube. I also had half a jar of Directions hair dye in the shade Pastel Pink that I added in at the same time. I like that there were some color variations and I almost wish I had more of it. My hair feels fresh and nice after this mask, I have nothing negative to say about the formulation as such. But I think the pigmentation was a bit weak, but this is really a matter of taste. I like a lot of color in my hair, so I almost wished for even more. We'll see how long it lasts, but honestly, I don't have high expectations since it's just a color mask. But it's fun to change things up a bit! I also think the price is very reasonable for what you get. Please don't mind how my makeup looks in the pictures, I've been lying around sleeping all day 🫠 #lykoreview #wella1 product in post Results as Expected!7814 views- The comment was made 3 monthsHi Johanna☺️ It turned out so nice! I felt like trying it myself. But I'm a bit afraid that the color won't wash out completely from the hair. I have blonde/bleached hair like you. How did it go washing it out? Regards, Caroline1 likes

Blur 16h Longwear 🔸️VS🔸️ Blur Even Cover
When I saw that Lumene had released a new Blur Even Cover foundation, I immediately became very interested, so I bought it a couple of weeks ago. I love their older Blur 16h longwear foundation, and it has been a big favorite for me over the last year. When I compared these two foundations, I initially thought they were quite similar, but the more I used the new one, the more I realized that they differ quite a bit! They are both very good, but in slightly different ways. I think foundation as a product is something very exciting, so this could get long 😂 Bare with me... 🔸️COVERAGE🔸️ is quite high on both foundations. Lumene rates it as 4 on a five-point scale for both, and I agree with this. Covers well, but without feeling thick or cakey! Personally, I have a lot of old acne scars and similar that I want to cover on my face, so I always use a layer of liquid foundation and then a thin layer of mineral foundation (from Swedish Tikei - it’s THE BEST) on top for a little extra coverage and longevity. I have oily skin, and I have found that this is the absolute best way for me to apply a base that lasts throughout the day. As for 🔸️THE FINISH🔸️, these foundations differ! While the older 16h Longwear uses "blur technology" and leans a bit more towards the matte side, this new Even Cover is more towards the dewy side (but without any form of glitter or shimmer). BUT both have a natural finish, just in slightly different ways. So I’m going into detail here 😂 Even Cover is also a bit more fluid in consistency and takes a bit longer to dry down. Since Even Cover is glossier in texture than 16h Longwear, I unfortunately find that 🔸️LONGEVITY🔸️ is a bit worse. It’s obvious that a more matte product will sit better on oily skin than a glossier product can do. So what I’ve noticed is that my oiliness becomes more visible faster with this new foundation Even Cover. That’s also why the older 16h Longwear stands out as the winner for me in this duel. However, I appreciate the slightly glowy finish that you get from Even Cover, looks very nice but holds worse throughout the day. I think both of these foundations are really nice. They are thin and lovely but still with high coverage, just in a natural way. Lumene has done well with these. I’m very happy to own both, and I give them both ☆☆☆☆☆, but if I can only choose one, it will be Blur 16h Longwear. This is from an oily girl’s perspective, which should be kept in mind 💛 PS! I have shade 0.5, which is supposed to be a cool shade (though I think it’s quite neutral), and it’s also the one I swatched in the pictures. It doesn’t oxidize at all (so it doesn’t darken when it dries) and I think how the color looks in real life matches quite well with Lumene’s pictures of it. ✨️🤑💰Half my winnings💰🤑✨️
A week ago I won #lykoreview and got a gift card for a thousand bucks, soooooo much fun and grateful 🥳😍✨️ I spent almost the whole weekend on my cart here at Lyko, thinking back and forth about what I wanted to spend my money on. I decided to split the winnings into two orders to be able to eat the cake AND keep it for a little while 😋 So this is what I bought for about the first half. It's mostly old favorites, but also a little new; 🤍The shampoo from #xl #grazette I had once before and loved it, so I bought it again now since there’s also a discount on hair care. It feels super nice on the scalp! 🩶Dry shampoo from #wella that I’ve been eyeing but never tried, but a dry shampoo is always needed... 💛Toner from #revox that I’ve had before and think is great, plus it’s SO incredibly affordable. 🧡Color treatment from #wella in the shade Peach Blush. I’ve never tried it before but I’m thinking of trying it already tonight, hope it turns out nice🤞 💚Deodorant from #garnier because I needed to buy that, but I’ve never tried this specific one. 🖤The Loud mascara from #gleeze that I’ve read good reviews about! 💜Amazing eyeliner from #moira in the shade Atlas, had Flare before and really liked it. Tried Atlas this morning and I’m completely in love 😍 I had some plans to spend the other half of the winnings on a perfume, but we’ll see if that happens because I’ve already built a new cart of other things I want 🤭 It goes so ridiculously fast to spend a thousand bucks 😧, as we all know 😆 Wishing you a lovely Friday evening and weekend! Hey Lyko
Can't you bring in a few more colors of this Chroma Light eyeshadow from Moira? If I could decide, it would mainly be number 9 and 14 😋 Just a wish! 🫶1 product in post Hey Lyko272 views- The user's roll: Lyko Creator. The comment was made 5 monthsHi Johanna! Great suggestion! Not So Much...
As #lykoinflutester, I was tasked with testing a line of volumizing products from Björn Axén, of which this conditioner was a part. I've already written about the shampoo and volumizing spray, and I had to skip the blow dry cream since I don't own a hair dryer. I've been using the shampoo and conditioner together for several weeks now, often along with the volumizing spray. This is described as a thin conditioner that should provide volume without weighing down. I quietly wonder why one would want a conditioner to be thin? Unfortunately, I don't think it provides much of a conditioning effect at all; my hair is tangled and hard to detangle afterward. Together with the shampoo, I've found that my hair feels quite airy after washing, but unfortunately also quite dry. I've cheated a bit at times and added another conditioner because otherwise, my hair gets way too tangled, as the conditioner itself feels very light, and it seems like the little effect it provides gets washed out when rinsing the hair. I think the scent is quite nice, unisex-like, and it lingers in the hair for several days after washing. I like it, but if you're sensitive to scents, this is probably not for you. I like Björn Axén as a brand; I've tried several products that I've appreciated from them. And I can understand the point of this volumizing conditioner, that they've made it light so it doesn't weigh down. It also contains moisturizing ingredients that I was curious about. Unfortunately, I think it's way too light, and I don't feel much of the moisture that it's said to add to the hair. I give it two stars because I like that my hair feels clean and airy after use, but the conditioner is, in my opinion, way too weak. #lykoinflutester #björnaxen #balsam1 product in post Not So Much...950 views- The user's roll: Lyko Creator.
