    Not So Much...

As #lykoinflutester, I was tasked with testing a line of volumizing products from Björn Axén, of which this conditioner was a part. I've already written about the shampoo and volumizing spray, and I had to skip the blow dry cream since I don't own a hair dryer. I've been using the shampoo and conditioner together for several weeks now, often along with the volumizing spray. This is described as a thin conditioner that should provide volume without weighing down. I quietly wonder why one would want a conditioner to be thin? Unfortunately, I don't think it provides much of a conditioning effect at all; my hair is tangled and hard to detangle afterward. Together with the shampoo, I've found that my hair feels quite airy after washing, but unfortunately also quite dry. I've cheated a bit at times and added another conditioner because otherwise, my hair gets way too tangled, as the conditioner itself feels very light, and it seems like the little effect it provides gets washed out when rinsing the hair. I think the scent is quite nice, unisex-like, and it lingers in the hair for several days after washing. I like it, but if you're sensitive to scents, this is probably not for you. I like Björn Axén as a brand; I've tried several products that I've appreciated from them. And I can understand the point of this volumizing conditioner, that they've made it light so it doesn't weigh down. It also contains moisturizing ingredients that I was curious about. Unfortunately, I think it's way too light, and I don't feel much of the moisture that it's said to add to the hair. I give it two stars because I like that my hair feels clean and airy after use, but the conditioner is, in my opinion, way too weak. #lykoinflutester #björnaxen #balsam

    🫧Shampoo Mera🫧

In the capacity of #lykoinflutester, I got to test a series of volume products from Björn Axén. What was included was this shampoo, a conditioner, a volumizing spray, and a blow dry cream. I have tested and reviewed the volumizing spray, but I had to skip the blow dry cream since I don't own a hair dryer 🤷🏼‍♀️ But I have now been using the shampoo, conditioner, and volumizing spray together for several weeks, as I imagine you get the most out of a series of products that way. I have long hair that is of the typically Scandinavian kind, I have thin but many hair strands, and my hair easily becomes a bit slippery and shiny. I mostly counteract this with dry shampoo or texture spray, so that's my way of looking at Volume 😄 This shampoo comes in a 250 ml packaging, and I like that Björn Axén stands out with its design - you can immediately tell when a product is from this brand! The shampoo lathers well, and I find it quite economical. With many shampoos, I feel the need to double shampoo, but I actually don't do that with this one, which is a good rating in itself. I think the scent is salon-like, leaning towards unisex. It lingers in the hair for a good while after washing, which I like. I feel that my hair gets clean and feels airy from this shampoo, possibly I feel that it has become a bit dry. I also think it feels like the hair stays clean relatively long. I like it, but I can't give it a full score due to the dryness. Everything is relative, overall I feel: GOOD but not FANTASTIC. #lykoinflutester #björnaxen #schampo

Great review, gorgeous! ❤️ It sounds like a really good shampoo! Did your hair get softer from the conditioner, do you think? 😘

    Tagged to try!

I love Lumene's "regular" Blur foundation, I'm wondering a bit what the difference is between that and this new one? Because it should also give 16 hours of longwear...? And do you think the shades correspond to the shades of the regular one? Then I'm wondering how big the bottle is because I couldn't see it anywhere, 30 ml or? Thanks in advance! 💕

Hey there Johanna! 👋 So fun that you like their foundation, and exciting that you checked out this one 😍 I understand that it can be tricky to understand the difference between these! Both foundations provide high coverage and a naturally matte finish with long-lasting wear (16h), but they have slightly different focuses 👇 Blur Even Cover has more skincare profile with niacinamide and Nordic blueberries, and is described as light in feel with a luminous matte finish and shine control 🫐 Blur 16H Longwear focuses more on performance and “blur technology,” is fragrance-free and contains SPF 15 ☀️ The new variant comes in more shades, and when I compare these, they don’t look completely the same. If you need help finding your perfect shade, just reach out 💌 The bottle size is 30ml, I’ll make sure to pass this on to the responsible person for an update! Thanks for bringing this to our attention 🙏 All the best!

Not so multichrome, but still good!

My interest in colorful eyeliners is HUGE, and I have long loved multichrome eyeliners. Sheglam had their Chromazone collection (which is now discontinued), and their three original colors of multichrome eyeliners are definitely the eyeliners I have purchased the most times in my life. I really love multichrome, it adds such a nice dimension to the makeup, I think. Especially with a simple matte eyeshadow as a base and a multichrome eyeliner to go with it 🙌 I started 🤤 a little cautiously when I saw these eyeliners from Moira. I bought the color Flare, and I have really liked it! It glides on very gel-like and nicely and gives a good payoff. It also works to smudge it if you are a bit quick. I usually do a pretty thick liner on the upper lid, but if you prefer thinner, there is also a sharpener on the other side of the pencil. The longevity is fantastic on this pencil, and that is one of the features I value the most in an eyeliner. After swatching it on my hand, I had to SCRUB to get it off 😅 Color-wise, I think Moira's swatches (which are also here on Lyko) are a bit misleading. But it is very rare for a multichrome to be as two-toned as those pictures show, so I understood beforehand that they were fake images. Which is a shame, as it gives the customer skewed expectations of the product! In reality, Flare is a brown shade that doesn't really shift to any other color. It is very foil-like, but I don't think it is that multichrome. However, it is pretty! I am of course curious about the other colors of this pencil, some more than others (read: Atlas!). I can absolutely recommend it, it is in many ways a really nice and good pencil, as long as you are aware that the ad swatches do not quite match reality. #lykoreview #moira #eyeliner

    SATISFIED!

I took a chance and bought this foundation a few weeks ago because I've heard good things about MUA, and I'm glad I did because I'm really satisfied! I have oily, sensitive skin that is very pale with a cool undertone. I chose shade 110. It works fine, is a liiiittle too yellow in the undertone really (like neutral in the undertone) since I need more pink, but I can get away with it anyway. It blends out nicely, is quite covering, and dries down matte without becoming TOO matte if you understand what I mean. It doesn't oxidize at all (meaning it doesn't get darker when it dries), and this is a big plus for me as a pale person. I've had a lot of acne, and my skin is such that I need it to be quite covering 🫣, and I think this achieves that. However, I always use two layers of foundation, first this one and then a thin layer of Tikeis mineral foundation for extra coverage and longevity. They work really well together and complement each other nicely, but I guess it would have worked fine with just this one too. But you have your habits ☺️ This has become the foundation I reach for lately, it's not the best I've ever used, but I think it's a decent product for a good price! I can absolutely recommend it. #lykoreview #mua #foundation

    Did not work for me...

I had the opportunity to test this product from the Swedish hair care brand Björn Axén as #influtester. The product is a "volume thickening spray" and I thought it sounded exciting and like something for me. I have long hair that is typically Scandinavian and easily becomes very flat and a bit slippery and shiny. So when I hear the word Volume, I say Yes please! The product comes in a plastic spray bottle with a pump function, in Björn Axén's classic blue design. The pump mechanism works well and there are no issues getting the liquid out. The product is quite thin and it feels like it distributes well in the hair. I have used it on towel-dried, freshly washed hair and focused mainly on the roots, according to the instructions. Now unfortunately, I do not own a hairdryer as I choose not to use heat tools in my hair. However, I imagine that a hairdryer in this case would have been useful to perhaps activate the product? As for volume, I unfortunately did not see any sign of that! I almost feel like my hair felt flatter after using this product. Like flatter because the hair felt very shiny, if you can understand what I mean? So this is probably not bad for all hair types, but for my hair, it probably needs a bit more texture to give volume. According to the description, it is a light spray that is supposed to give volume without weighing down, so I understand the purpose of it. But for me, it fell quite flat (😉) unfortunately. I think it's a shame that I don't have a hairdryer to test if it would have given better results, but on the other hand, it did say that you could also use the product and let the hair air dry, so... 🤔 Oh well. It is what it is. It also smells salon-good in a unisex kind of way, I think! #lykoinflutester #björnaxen

    Perfect Shade!

Received this pencil today, so I've only tested it once, but I feel really satisfied so far! I have naturally dark blonde hair and the same color on my eyebrows, and I have quite a few eyebrow pencils at home that don't really work in the shade. However, I am really pleased with the tone of this one, it actually matches my eyebrows quite perfectly! I bought the shade called Blonde, mostly took a chance since it was so cheap. But I'm glad I did! As someone else wrote, it's neither too cool nor too warm, quite neutral in tone. But above all, it's not too warm, which I think many lighter eyebrow pencils are, and that absolutely does not work for me. The product is quite waxy, but in a good way. Stays relatively well in place, I think, so far. Sure, it's a bit annoying that you need to sharpen it, but wooden pencils have their own little charm plus a unique kind of formula. No, I don't have much to complain about, especially not when the price was just under 15 kronor 😂 #lykoreview #w7

    Fun with something new!

I got the chance to test this exciting product via #lykoinflutester, and I've been doing so for about the last month. It's a highlight treatment that comes from the Swedish brand Waterclouds, and I've tried it along with the shampoo and conditioner in the same silver series. I naturally have dark blonde hair, dyed to quite light blonde, and I have long hair that is typically Scandinavian in texture. Sensitive scalp at times, but not right now. I was excited to test this product because I've never seen anything like it before, and if it exists, I certainly haven't tested it. It's a leave-in spray in a pump bottle of 150 ml that you can use on dry or damp hair. It is supposed to brighten warm tones in blonde hair, provide moisture, shine, and softness, and counteract static electricity (!). Sounds like something perfect for me, very exciting! I've mainly used the products in this series together, but I've also tested them individually to evaluate properly. I've used this highlight treatment product on damp hair after I've showered. It doesn't make the hair easier to detangle, rather the opposite, but this is a side note since it's not made for that. It smells very good and fresh and somewhat salon-like, I think. It is light purple in color, I don't think it brightens much in itself but possibly neutralizes yellow tones a little (yes, I think so)! When it has dried in, the hair feels almost a bit coarse, but that's something I've actually liked because my hair is naturally so slippery and shiny, so it gave a bit of hold to it. I give it 4.2 stars out of 5 possible, plus points for smelling so good and for being an exciting and interesting product. Minus points for being a bit tame, but on the other hand, more pigment might have made it look patchy in the hair. It was fun to try, and I will definitely use up the product! #lykoinflutester #waterclouds #leave-in

    Nja, not bad!

I have tested this conditioner from Swedish Waterclouds via #lykoinflutester over the past month, along with the shampoo and highlight treatment in the same series. I have dark blonde hair that I have dyed light blonde, typically Scandinavian hair and with a scalp that is sensitive at times (though not right now). I have mostly used all three products together, but I have also tested using them separately. The conditioner comes in a 200 ml tube. It is dark purple in color, much more than other similar products I have used before. It contains nice ingredients like betaine and sea kale, which are supposed to strengthen the hair and provide shine and softness. It is also supposed to moisturize and make the hair easier to detangle. I think the conditioner neutralizes the yellow tones of the hair, but it doesn't make it directly easier to brush out. I would have liked a bit more of the actual conditioner effect! I have to use another conditioner after this or together with it to make it work for my long hair. It doesn't make a difference the longer I have it in, I have noticed. I don't feel completely satisfied with this conditioner, I give it 3 stars out of 5 possible because it brightens nicely but doesn't really feel like a conditioner to me! Ps! Smells really good and salon-like! #lykoinflutester #waterclouds #balsam

    I like!

I have tested this shampoo via #lykoinflutester together with the conditioner and highlight treatment in the same series. I have dark blonde hair at the base, dyed to light blonde. I have quite long hair and a relatively sensitive scalp, at least at times, so now you know a bit about the starting condition I had when I tested this shampoo. The bottle is 250 ml, quite standard. It looks nice and a bit salon-like, I think. The product has a faint but pleasant scent, it says it should be passionflower and lotus fruit - I don't know what either of those smells like, so I have no idea if that’s true 😄 The shampoo itself has a dark purple color that almost scared me a little when I first squeezed it into my hand. I thought this is going to dye my hair properly. The shampoo lathers up quite okay, better than other silver shampoos I have tested before, actually. I also don’t think it dried my hair out too much, but conditioner is always a must for me. I noticed on my hands that they were a little colored after I used this shampoo, so you can be prepared for that. My hair also got a purple tone, but that disappeared in the next wash when I used my regular shampoo. But otherwise, I think it lightened my hair a bit and cooled it down, just as it says it should do. It didn’t irritate my scalp either. Personally, I don’t mind having a little purple color in my hair, but I can imagine that not everyone appreciates that, so it might be a good thing to be aware of. I give the shampoo 4 stars out of 5 possible, because I think it’s a product that does what it says it should do. Maybe it’s a bit too pigmented, but it works fine since I use it every other or every third wash. One of the better silver shampoos I have tested. #lykoinflutester #waterclouds #schampo
