I was tasked with testing this mascara & here are my thoughts: 👁️Background: I naturally have quite long lashes and usually don’t have problems with mascaras, like them not lasting all day etc. 🤗First impression: I really like the look of the mascara, it feels sleek & nice. The brush is just the right size, which I prefer. I also like that it can be removed with just warm water & the environmental thinking Idun Minerals has. 😆My opinion: It’s a good mascara that is definitely waterproof as I got a bit sentimental the other day & it really stayed put. No smudging or running. 🥲However, I find the brush can have a bit of trouble separating the lashes & I sometimes need to help out, which I haven’t always needed with other mascaras. It can also clump a bit if you’re not careful when applying but that doesn’t lower my rating. 🤩It definitely gives volume, but if you’re after really full lashes, this might not be the mascara for you as it focuses more on separating, which it also promises. 😀When removing, it tends to crumble rather than smudge, which I personally have mixed feelings about. Not necessarily a bad thing but a bit different for me. The durability is really good though & it stays nice on the lashes all day. 🙌Conclusion: A good waterproof mascara that gives volume & lasts all day. Good formula, weak volume
I have tried Idun Minerals blue waterproof mascara and I have mixed feelings. It’s really good when it comes to durability – it stays all day without flaking or smudging, which I love. But I have quite short lashes, and unfortunately, I don’t think it quite delivers there. It separates nicely and gives a natural look, but I don’t get the length or volume I need to really “open up” my eyes. The color then – it’s nice, but I’m a bit unsure about when you should actually wear blue mascara. I really love the IDUN Minerals Mascara Vatn Volume 38°C Blue! It gives incredible volume to the lashes without clumping, and the result is both full and defined. The color is one of the best – a clear, intense blue shade that really highlights the eyes and gives a unique and slightly more “developed” look compared to regular black mascara. Tried this mascara from IDUN Minerals!! It applied nicely on the lashes and didn’t weigh them down at all, which keeps them lifted all day! I usually don’t use blue mascara but I’m going to try matching this with a colorful eyeshadow, I think it could be perfect 🤩 It’s very pigmented which is a plus, it almost glowed blue 💙 Overall a good mascara that works both for everyday and parties!
