Good, but nothing special
I have tested 3 products from Emma S. over the last month. For the other products, feel free to check out the respective product page 🌸 I have used this morning and night for an extended period in combination with essence from the same brand, as well as a serum from another brand. I find that this works well with other products. 🎀MY SKIN - Combination skin, gets very dry during the winter months, which results in me becoming oily - Prone to breakouts and clogged pores - A bit sensitive to scented products and vitamin C 🎀PROS - Easy to use - Both day and night cream - I like that it comes in a tube - Provides decent moisture, may work better in the summer than in the winter! 🎀CONS - Not quite as rich as I would have liked - Has a bit of a perfume scent 🎀OVERALL IMPRESSION The consistency is not really my type of cream, as I get incredibly dry during the winter months. I need something richer for my skin. Also, it has a scent that is quite strong. It does its job, and I don't feel dry in my face, but I would have needed even more moisture. For the other products, feel free to check out the respective product page 🌸 I have used this product directly after cleansing my face for extra moisture, I chose to apply it to my face instead of patting it in as I found that it worked better for me. After that, I let it sink in, and then used a serum for extra moisture. 🎀MY SKIN - Combination skin, gets very dry during the winter months, which results in me becoming oily - Prone to breakouts and clogged pores - A bit sensitive to scented products and vitamin C 🎀PLUS - Very easy to use - Provides the skin with some extra moisture - Works very well with other products - Incredibly economical product, not much is needed. 🎀MINUS - I think it smells a bit too much like perfume, I sometimes have a hard time with scented products on my face. - A bit pricey for being an “extra” product in my routine, I would rather spend the money on a serum in this price range than a facial toner. 🎀OVERALL OPINIONS The consistency of this is totally to my liking! It is thin and a bit gel-like, and I find that it absorbs very quickly because of that. I also find that this works well in combination with other products. I would recommend this for someone who is very dry and feels that their skincare routine needs an extra step. For the other products, feel free to check out the respective product page 🌸 I have used this product in conjunction with showering 1-2 times a week, which has been incredibly convenient. I can't emphasize enough how much I love these types of products that are time-efficient! See the attached video for how I have used it. 🎀MY SKIN - Combination skin, gets very dry during the winter months, which results in me becoming oily - Prone to breakouts and clogged pores - A bit sensitive to scented products and vitamin C 🎀PLUS - Easy to use - Time-efficient product, as it only needs to be on the face for 1 minute - Good consistency, not too thick or too thin - Economical 🎀MINUS - Since my skin is more sensitive, it reacts a little to this exfoliation. I get quite red from it, but I don't see it as an overly big minus since this usually happens with these types of products. See the end of the attached video for the reaction on the skin. 🎀OVERALL OPINIONS I am very very satisfied with this product! It feels like it really cleans deeply, and I find that it exfoliates a lot even though I am more used to using scrubs with grains. Also, I feel that it gives the skin more radiance. Super satisfied with this
I have been able to test this LED lip mask from Silk’n over the past few weeks 🌸 Below you can see my review: 🌺 PRECONDITIONS I haven’t had many problems with dry lips or similar, I feel that I am very careful to moisturize them, but sometimes I may need to scrub if I want things like lipstick or other to look better and last longer. I haven’t tested fillers or similar before, so getting to try this product has been very fun, as I have been very curious about what results it can provide. My skin around my mouth is actually nothing remarkable, it is quite “normal”. It rarely gets dry and I don’t notice any significant fine lines. 🌺 PLUS - Gives a plump result immediately - LOVE that it counts the time and turns off by itself, so you don’t have to think about how long it has been on. - Easy to use since you can do other things in the meantime - Notice a difference after just a few uses - Lips feel softer and I think they look more “plump” 🌺 MINUS - It has been a bit difficult to get comfortable with, and can feel a bit uncomfortable to have in your mouth, but that goes away after a few uses. - A bit too bright light for my eyes, you get used to it after a minute, but it is bright. Which is also the only reason it doesn’t get 5 ⭐️ from me 🌺 OVERALL IMPRESSIONS - I was positively surprised by this product. I don’t know if I’m imagining it, but either way, I think it succeeds in making lips fuller in a convenient, and not too expensive, way. - I really like that it has two different modes that you can switch between, which I have also done. But after using it, I have seen a difference regardless of which of the different modes I used. - In short, I can really recommend this to those who want to try a product that feels luxurious and innovative, while also delivering results! My new favorite
I have had the chance to test this lip product from Ole Henriksen for 2 weeks. Below is my review ❣️ 🍓PLUS - Very pleasant scent! - Gives such a heavenly nice shimmer on the lips. - Perfect color for me, like a hand in a glove color-wise. - Fantastic applicator and very convenient packaging to take on the go. 🍓MINUS - I don’t feel that this has given me more “plump lips” during this testing period, however, I will continue to use this product as I am completely obsessed, so maybe I will notice a bigger difference over a longer time 😍 🍓IN SUMMARY I am converted!!! I love this product and it has become my new go-to product for lips. I haven’t used anything else but this during these test days because this is truly incredible. On a daily basis, I just throw this on my lips, but having this along with a lip pencil for more festive occasions looks incredibly nice. The lips become super soft and I feel more put together by adding this to my everyday makeup routine. I have had the chance to test this peeling/scrub from Ole Henriksen for 2 weeks. Below is my review 🍓 🍋 MY SKIN - I have combination skin, so I feel that I am basically dry, but I almost always end up getting oily easily. - I often get pimples and clogged pores, so I get acne quite easily. - I have sensitive skin from time to time. 🍋 PLUS - Very easy to use. - Smells incredibly good (and a lot, this is a personal preference, but for me this is a plus) - Leaves the skin very soft and smooth afterwards - I feel that it cleans deeply 🍋 MINUS - So far, I don't have much negative to say about this, I think it works great for me. The only thing I can think of at the moment is that the price is a bit higher than what I usually spend on a face scrub. Which leads me to not completely feel it is worth the price, but that does not affect my final rating. 🍋 IN SUMMARY This scrub is more like a hybrid between scrub and chemical peeling, and it is the first time I am testing that combination in one product. My first spontaneous impression was that I was a bit worried about whether I could use this since I am generally a bit sensitive. My skin easily turns red when using only chemical peelings, and this product is therefore chemical and has grains. The grains are not super coarse, and I do not perceive them as "scratching" like some scrubs can be on the skin, so I am positively surprised! I do not feel that this has been so intense that my skin could not handle it, but on the contrary. I have the impression that it has cleaned my skin nicely and facilitated my skincare routine. I have applied this in the evening, after cleansing, and let it sit for about 2 minutes and then rinsed it off, it has worked great. It is worth mentioning that it is extra important to use sun protection after using products in this category! I have tested 4 products from IZEL beauty over the last month. Here come my reviews. For the other products, feel free to check out the respective product page 🌸 I found this hair care series very hard to summarize as I don't have any unique or specific opinions about all the products I've tested. I would say it almost speaks for itself, but I've gathered some thoughts and opinions ☺️ This product is the one I've liked the most out of all the ones I've tested this month! 🩷 MY HAIR - Dry and relatively lifeless - Shoulder-length thin hair that very easily gets greasy. - Naturally curly, but not sufficiently moisturized for the curls to come through 🩷 PLUS - Good spray function on the bottle! I usually think that most of these spray bottles have such a small applicator, but this one worked great. - Smells good. - Good price! - Protects hair from heat (as it should 😛) 🩷 MINUS - I find that my hair can get greasy very easily, so you have to be quite careful with the amount you use. - Doesn't get the shine I had hoped for, but looks more unwashed. 🩷 OVERALL OPINIONS - This whole series smells so heavenly good, but I find it hard to put into words what it smells like. I would say it smells like lemon and elderflower and has hints of something very sweet of some kind. I often find that serums are quite expensive, but I think this one is in a good price range. - Really nice scent 🩷 MINUS - I actually don't notice any significant difference when I use this. The hair smells really good afterward but I haven't gotten any direct impression that the hair feels softer or anything like that, instead, it has been a bit rough after showering. 🩷 GENERAL OPINIONS - This whole line smells so heavenly, but I find it hard to put into words what it smells like. I would say it smells like lemon and elderflower and has hints of something very sweet of some kind. I would say it almost speaks for itself, but I have gathered some thoughts and opinions ☺️ 🩷 MY HAIR - Dry and relatively lifeless - Shoulder-length thin has very easily become greasy. - Naturally curly, but not sufficiently moisturized for the curls to come through 🩷 PLUS - Budget-friendly - Nice packaging 🩷 MINUS - Unfortunately, it doesn't work well with my hair. - I find this conditioner a bit difficult to work with and it feels like my hair becomes rough from this. - Doesn't live up to my expectations. 🩷 OVERALL OPINIONS - The whole series smells so heavenly, but I find it hard to put into words what it smells like. I would say it smells like lemon and elderflower and has hints of something very sweet of some kind. You don't need much to lather up and wash your hair with. - Smells nice and good. - Nice packaging. - Budget-friendly 🩷 MINUS - I find that I need to wash my hair twice with this for it to be completely clean, and I have noted in the description that the best results are achieved when washing twice. I'm not completely sold on that idea. - Doesn't quite meet my expectations for how I want my shampoo. I feel like my hair becomes quite dry from this. 🩷 OVERALL OPINIONS - This entire line smells so incredibly good, but I find it hard to put into words what it smells like. I would say it smells like lemon and elderflower and has hints of something very sweet of some kind.
