Maybe not optimal for oily skin?
I got to test this face cream from the brand PLY Skin along with 2 other products that I also reviewed as #lykoinflutester. Fun with new brands! The product comes in a tube packaging and is sleek and pretty. It is more hygienic with a tube than a jar since you go in with your fingers into jars, so the tube is preferred👍🏼 I would say that the product is fragrance-free but read that some experience a slight scent, so that could be the case. But anyway, it is mild and suitable for fragrance-sensitive and those with sensitive skin. I would describe my skin as combination. A bit winter-dry sometimes on e.g. cheeks, but oily in the T-zone most of the time. This cream became a bit too oily for my skin. The cream is actually quite thick and oily, so it might suit better for drier skin. I will definitely test it more when I experience my skin being drier, because then I think this could be great. Mild and good!
As a #lykoinflytester, I received this cleanser along with 2 other products from PLY Skin. The brand is completely new to me, but if I understood this correctly, the brand is also relatively new on the market and I also believe it is Norwegian, but as I said, I'm not entirely sure😅🤞🏼 I have, however, thought very well of this particular facial cleanser. It cleanses and exfoliates the skin very well and gently. The product contains AHA. The product removes both impurities and makeup from the skin and leaves the skin clean and soft. However, I felt that my skin felt a bit dry afterwards, but that could be due to the winter climate, I almost never experience dry skin otherwise (I have normal skin but with an oily T-zone) The product lathers up easily with a little water and forms a light foam. I don't think the product has any special scent, but a faint tone, but I can't quite put my finger on what. Absolutely nothing that bothers me anyway. Convenient with a pump bottle, nice and sleek design🧴 I have used the product in the evening, but it also works well to use in the morning🌅 I can recommend it, though maybe not for the dry. I have been so lucky to test Kérastase products through #lykotestpilot and I just have to say thank you so much, I am mega satisfied and my hair thanks you. Natural look
Went out with a friend today for coffee and girl talk 🤩 Wanted a simple and natural makeup look. The only thing not visible in the picture is my cream from Isdin, magic glow, which is totally magical! But unfortunately, it’s not sold here, maybe a tip for #lyko? ☺️ I bought it in Spain after a tip at a pharmacy there and I never want to be without it. I had bought quite a bit from Lyko recently and my fingers were itching to try everything 😁😁 Nyx concealer was super good! Nice and natural, with good coverage. The under eye primer from Essence was good and provided a nice base that kept the makeup in place. I’m not sure if it had any effect on dark circles under my eyes though. Baby got blush, there was a lot of color so I had to use cotton pads to tone it down a bit. But then it looked really nice! But maybe teach me the technique 🤜 The lip pencil gave a nice color, but was a bit dry and hard to work with. It got easier with my favorite gloss from Buxom, then I could apply it more easily. The rest of the products are part of my new daily routine and are already reviewed if you’re wondering ☺️ First time I’m posting something like this 🙈 I’ve seen others that have inspired me. Oh no, now something is happening that shouldn't happen🤦♀️ Ida Warg Beauty has stopped making their Vitalizing Body Serum, which has been my big favorite (I've gone through maybe 5 bottles). I haven't found any similar product that moisturizes without a lot of stickiness, smells good, absorbs into the skin in no time, and gives a nice glow. My hair is a bit below the collarbone and has been bleached and dyed several times, it easily gets tangled and worn. When I travel to Gotland, my hair usually becomes miserable due to the calcium, but I have tested it there and also in Uppsala, which is said to be calcium-rich, and my hair has stayed soft and fresh for several days! A little background on my skincare routine. For over 10 years, I have been using Lancôme's skincare products serum, Lancôme Renergie Multi-Lift Ultra, and face water. Absolutely I love Lancôme serum and face water. Lancôme's face cream did not give the results I expected. The cream melted quickly and did not get sticky, and the scent was really nice. But with lifting it did not help (against signs of aging) nor against fine lines. Maybe Lancôme face cream is not for me. The cream is expensive and looks luxurious, just like Lancôme products are known, and everyone wants to try. Expensive and luxury products are not worth it if they do not give the results one expected. Why have I used Lancôme even though I see no results? Because I did not dare to try many different products since I have very sensitive skin and get irritation easily. Yes, I have tested using products that contain C vitamins, and my skin does not tolerate that. Last week I bought Garnier aloe hydrating 48h moisturizer, and I have been using this product for a week now, and I am very pleased with it. Results -Gives a lot of hydration -Makes skin very soft -Looks 5 years younger -Cheap -Has a very mild scent -Smells of Aloe -Melts in quickly -Is not sticky The best result with the cream I can see, my skin is getting better, gives a lot of glow, and I look 5 years younger and I get healthier skin ❤️. Even my mom asked which cream I have used. I regret that I had not used Garnier aloe hydrating cream earlier. Received this from #LYKO to review, and I honestly don’t know what I think. The product is super pretty, which definitely enhances the experience and feeling of a salon. The scent of the product is a bit more like toilet cleaner than the other products in the same series. But I actually don’t have much to say about the product since I haven’t even noticed that it does anything😅 Tried it with shampoo and then just used the shampoo, and I noticed no difference?? Feels a bit luxurious with serum beforehand, but I don’t know if I would want to spend so much money on a product that I don’t notice does anything?
