I use a flat iron quite often and my hair is long + a bit damaged, so I tried this heat protectant. I had the honor of being a Lyko tester to try this heat protection, and I can only say WOW! 👌🏼🙌🏻🫶🏼 ☁️ First and foremost – my hair then? I have Scandinavian hair, which means it’s quite thick, fine, and relatively flat. Since I like to straighten or curl sometimes, I know how important heat protection is – but honestly, many I’ve tested have felt… well, dull or kind of sticky? 🤷🏽♀️ So I was curious (and a little skeptical) when I got Heat Styling Protection from Björn Axén home. But wow – it delivered! 🌬️ Feel & application This spray is super light – no heavy, sticky feelings in the hair here! It also smells fresh and “salon-like,” but not too strong. A couple of sprays in the lengths, comb through quickly – done! The hair doesn’t feel wet or stiff after application, but just… yes, protected but still soft and light. 🙏🏼 🔥 How did it work in styling? I tested the spray with the Björn Axén Tools Thermocare Straightener, both when straightening and when I tried to curl (aka wrestled with one side again 😂). And honestly – the hair felt shiny, soft, and zero frizz. No crunch, no burnt smell, no “stringy” result. It actually felt like the heat was distributed more evenly through the hair, and the result was even nicer. 🙌 What I like: • Light and fresh formula • Doesn’t feel in the hair – just protects • Works for both straighteners and curling irons • Gives shiny, soft results • Good for thick hair like mine • The scent = fresh and summery 🧡 Conclusion Björn Axén Heat Styling Protection is now an essential part of my styling routine. As a Lykoinfluencer, I had the chance to test the Björn Axen Heat Styling Protection Spray. 🩷 I have been testing this for a few weeks now and like it more and more, at first I used too much product and it left a film on my hair. Now I use less and it gives a nice result and my hairstyle lasts all day. I have been testing Maria Nila's heat protection for about a month now, the first thing I thought of was the scent: The scent is very fresh and not too intense 🌸 I find that my hair often gets a “burnt” smell after using heat on it, but not with this heat protection. 🎉 It provides a light hold, which makes it easier to style and shape the hair.
