Good product, but not for me
Kevin Murphy's moisturizing conditioner does what it’s supposed to and a bit more. The product contains a lighter type of silicones, is more concentrated than conditioners you find in grocery stores, and has a high content of nourishing ingredients. I used the conditioner with and without Kevin Murphy's detox shampoo, and with moisturizing shampoo from the same brand. Especially after using the detox shampoo, I would say the conditioner is necessary. My hair is typically Nordic, untreated, and a bit dry. I didn’t feel the conditioner weighed it down. The hair became soft and shiny. The cap was impossible for me to open. So I either had to use a tool or unscrew it. That’s too inconvenient. It also smells strongly of perfume, and the scent lingers. It smells of bergamot, lemon, wood, and spices, not like the typical sweet floral scent many other shampoos and conditioners have. There’s no doubt that Kevin Murphy is a very good brand with very good products. But for me, this conditioner is not a necessity right now; the design is too poor and the scent too strong. If your hair really needs care, I recommend Kevin Murphy’s moisturizing shampoo and conditioner. You can also try using it as a hair mask and leave the product in your hair for 10-15 minutes, but as a leave-in it’s too heavy. Beautiful curls and a lasting result, just what you want😍 So, what did we do? We started by washing the hair 2 times with Headon Cleanse Shampoo & finished with Headon Care conditioner. Then we used a bit of Headon Care Leave-in Conditioner in the lengths for a moisturizing heat protectant and of course Headon Defining Mousse at the roots (🏆) for volume. We blow-dried the hair and then took Headon Dry Shaping Heat Spray for a little extra heat protection before curling the hair.
