A really good tuberose scent 🌸
I have a hard time with scents. It's a long story, but let's say this: I was quite knowledgeable and well-read about the different fragrance notes, perfumes, etc. But scents also have a strong connection to our memories and feelings, which doesn't always make it easy... So when I got this scent sample with a purchase from another online store, I hesitated a bit at first.. but then I was brave and tried it. Here comes my honest impression: A nice strong, yet soft scent. 1-3 spritzes are enough, otherwise you get a tuberose overload and it easily becomes too much – for everyone. The scent is quite present, meaning the sillage is quite strong at first, but the scent becomes more skin-close over time. The scent lasts easily all day, though it fades a bit. On clothes, however, you can still smell it 1-2 days later. 🥰 I can't distinguish the different fragrance notes, it's mainly the tuberose that stands out. I think the scent suits all ages, in all situations – properly dosed. Personally, I think scents generally smell best in cool/windy weather, but that's a matter of taste. 😊 I recommend this scent to everyone; but remember: Try before you buy, as scents/impressions/feelings/memories/skin etc. are sooooo different. ❤️ PS: As a reference, I haven't had any perfume at home for a few years. Luckily, there are several in my (f for unsympathetic) family who are scent sensitive, even though I am the only one with clear scent hypersensitivity, so I think people who wear strong perfumes publicly are almost strange and selfish... why risk others getting asthma, migraine, or nausea, I mean, but they probably don't understand that (maybe it's the same kind of individuals who walk around with clothes that stink of detergent/fabric softener thinking it's "fresh"🤔). Lovely color with incredibly fine glitter! ✨️ It’s subtle, but still a bit 'rocky' because of the glitter. 🥰 The brush and consistency make it super easy to apply. It does take a little time to dry, but it’s worth the wait. ✨️ I usually only wear nail polish on my toenails – mostly in a dark red color. But when I saw this one, I immediately fell a little in love. 🤭 I’ve also applied this on my fingernails since I’m trying to grow them out. I’ve read that if you keep them nice, you won’t pick at them... I hope so! 😊🤞 I recommend using a top coat since the surface isn’t smooth because of the glitter. That way it will last longer and protect the polish/glitter from falling off. When I tried without a top coat, it didn’t even last a day. But I’ve experienced the same with other nail polishes from Depend. But with a top coat, no problems. 🥰 I will buy this color again as soon as it runs out! No wow from me..
I have been using this serum in my morning routine for 2 weeks now. It has a fun orange color, which makes it a bit nice. However, it is quite runny compared to other serums I have tried, but absorbs quickly. It smells mild, but strange. Hard to describe. Unfortunately, the scent lingers quite a while. 😐 They say to use 1/2 pipette. Hmm.. I don’t know, maybe my face is just too big or my skin needs a bit more, but I have used a whole pipette every morning. Maybe it’s too soon to talk about results, but I need to stop with the serum as I can no longer stand the smell. Also, I want to see faster results (I’m a bit impatient sometimes 😅) and want to start trying another very promising serum. I don’t think my skin got smoother or that I got a bit of glow for that matter (this is something you usually can see quite fast). I can’t say more. Great nail treatment that adds moisture
This is a nice, colorless serum. It doesn't smell strong and absorbs so ultra-fast that you almost don't notice it. 😄 I find that the serum strengthens the nail and especially adds moisture. The nail surface becomes smooth and nice. 🥰 However, it doesn't do anything for the cuticle (at least not for me), that's where Depend's avocado oil comes in. The serum is very economical and the price is good. Good, durable and very nice hairbrush
Very nice color, feels good in the hand, the air cushion works great. The bristles are neither too soft nor too hard. It gives a lovely scalp massage. 🥰 It’s the biggest brush I have. I’m not used to it yet, but I probably will be. 🤞 I think it works well on both wet and dry hair. Glides smoothly through the hair without leaving tangles or knots. Doesn’t hurt. Sometimes it’s a bit tricky to remove hair strands, but it works. 😊 I have medium-length, slightly curly, thin but very much hair. When I brush through, I sometimes think the brush might suit someone with thicker and longer hair better. But still, I’m managing more and more with this one. 🥰 Got a great deal, so I went for it. Feels nice and is good, but not a miracle cure
I bought Estees Lauder Advanced Night Repair after reading so many positive reviews and posts about it. I'm new to taking care of my skin (and myself), so I thought it would fit into my evening routine. I imagined, despite having seen it in many videos ☺️, that it would be much oilier. So I was pleasantly surprised that it was more serum-like, but still not. I was most afraid of the scent, as I am a bit sensitive to scents, generally have trouble with fragrances, and get migraines. I expected a fairly strong, old-fashioned scent, but no! It smells rather lightly floral (or rosehip?), really hard to describe; not fresh, but not intrusive or heavy either, just pleasantly mild, which is great – also considering the night.😴 I need to use quite a bit to spread it over my whole face and neck. My skin soaks it up immediately, it absorbs almost instantly. It doesn't stick or feel greasy, but feels really nice and pleasant! 🥰 I use it after the night serum (with retinal) and before my night cream. I've used this for about 2 weeks and unfortunately don't see any noticeable results. I think the skincare I'm currently testing is what makes my skin smooth and nice (review of that will come later, after testing for a longer time), not this one. Will I buy it again? Hmmm.. probably not.. or well, I don't know. I can imagine there are better oils/serums at a better price, but I really don't know. If I think about it, I would probably miss something if I didn't have it in my routine.. So I'm torn. I have bought this micellar water from Garnier many times over the years. It has become a natural part of my skincare routine. I usually buy the smallest size, 100ml, since I don’t wear heavy makeup, so you don’t need that much to remove everything. Also, it’s very practical when I travel. It basically smells like nothing. You can hold the small bottle and press lightly, so it comes out very smoothly.👌 I’ve previously used Nivea’s or others from Garnier, but those smelled too strong and most aren’t available in travel size. I recommend this one if you have a light makeup (a bit of powder foundation and mascara) like I do. You don’t need to rub, it comes off immediately. 😊 NOTE! However, if you have waterproof mascara, it probably won’t come off that easily, I guess (haven’t tested). But I must admit, about 3 weeks ago, I discovered a new favorite. I discovered this micellar water from Topz about 3 weeks ago. Previously, I have used Garnier’s regular one for many years. But when I saw Topz’s bottle, I just had to try it! 😍 I bought a travel-size 100ml (unfortunately not sold here – dear LYKO, could you please also stock the 100ml size, thanks? 🩷), which I always do since I don’t wear heavy makeup (just a bit of powder foundation and mascara – that’s it! 👌) It’s concentrated and lasts quite a while. Also, it’s very practical when I travel. It hardly smells at all – well.. I sense something, but not really. You know what I mean..? The small bottle is easy to hold, but it’s a bit hard to press out compared to my old favorite from Garnier, but it works. 👍 And you: Just looking at it makes me a bit happier!! 😄🥰 Anyway..
