I understood why this is so hyped the moment I put it in my hair 😌 The first thing I noticed was the consistency. So rich and creamy, but without feeling heavy. It just melts into the hair, as if my hair is saying "yes please, more of this 💁♀️ And the scent WOW. Was unsure about this product regarding the price but through videos on social media, I was influenced to buy. I was incredibly surprised at how well it works. Looks completely freshly washed after use and helps with volume. Finally time for me to review the set System 2 by Nioxin ~ Loyalty Kit for Thinning Hair. I have thick normal/dry hair with developed thinning, naturally (not colored). Over time, I have experienced that my hair has become weakly thinned and I have also lost quite a bit of hair, especially in the shower but also when I brush or handle it during the day. Note that I do not use any other products in my hair and do not style it either. The product is described by Nioxin itself as: Nioxin System 2 routine refreshes the scalp, reduces hair loss due to broken hair strands, strengthens the hair, and gives a healthy shine to natural hair. I have reviewed the series based on scent and how well the product has worked over time. The scent is very fresh with a slight hint of menthol/cucumber. Which makes the hair feel very fresh after washing. My hair steps: ~ Wash the hair with shampoo 2 times to get it really clean, ~ Conditioner in the scalp and lengths, ~ Finish with Scalp & Hair Treatment (shake to activate it). Then apply to the scalp and work into the hair from root to tip. Do not rinse out. Review (pros and cons): ~ good scent and the hair feels like it has been salon-treated after all steps (i.e. soft, good scent, and voluminous). ~ do not lose nearly as much hair in the shower as before and the hair does not break as easily, I have noticed - very satisfied with the results so far even though I want to use it for an even longer period. ~ good and convenient packaging. ~ the conditioner is lightweight and leaves the scalp moisturized without weighing it down. ~ Nioxin Scalp & Hair Treatment gives each hair strand increased fullness which makes me feel that the hair looks fuller and healthier. ~ Have tested the smaller packaging of 150ml and it goes quite quickly for me as I have long hair, can therefore feel a bit not economical especially since I need double cleansing and quite a bit of conditioner. ~ The product is relatively high in price but I feel that the quality makes up for it. This product comes in a plastic tube that makes you happy, the color made an impression right away! I was a bit afraid that the opening would break, but the packaging has been intact throughout the testing period. It is cheap to purchase, which gave it that feeling, but I had no problems with it at all. You squeeze out the right amount depending on your hair, and I have waist-length hair, straight, thin, and damaged! I haven't cut my hair in a couple of years. I used the product like a slightly smaller grape, and that has been enough for me! So economical is the product. It melts from the heat in your hand and becomes a bit oil-like in consistency. It smells just right, but wonderful. Nothing that becomes noticeable after a while, which I appreciated. I filmed the first time I tested it, and the hair becomes immediately very detangled and shiny. The most caring ingredients in the INCI list I think are shea butter, which has fatty acids and vitamins. Panthenol, which strengthens the hair. Lactic acid, which smooths the cuticle layer. Red algae extract, which moisturizes and protects. But as you can see in the video, the extra softness and shine are missing when the hair is dry. I wish for something that is a bit more moisturizing. So my wish would have been that they maybe added a bit of argan oil! They do have extract from sunflower, but that is very far down the ingredient list, and the oil might have been better for my hair!? Considering the price, the product is very good, but since I miss the extra care that my other, more expensive brands have given, it brings the rating down a bit. From full score to 4 stars. So it was hard to give a rating this time. I have tested it and used a hairdryer afterward, and then the result is better. But since I usually let my hair air dry, the review is based on that result. I have had the pleasure of testing this product for a month. I, who have long and damaged hair, try to avoid heat, but of course, I have tested the product. It comes in a nice bottle with a pump function. It makes you happy to see it, the text is clear, and the bottle exudes quality even though the product is very affordable. The product is liquid and slightly white/uncolored? Unfortunately, the spray didn't work super well, it sprayed out a bit unevenly at the beginning of each use. Maybe it was too thick for the spray? But with the help of my hands, it was no problem at all. What struck me immediately was the wonderful scent, you should know that it has a strong fragrance, but it smells good. I have a hard time explaining scents, but this one was appealing and smells "summer and floral". The effect on the hair was good, it contains some nourishing ingredients that strengthen the hair, the ones I like the most are probably the ones called protein, there were a few in the list, like Hydrolyzed Wheat Protein, they all work to repair and strengthen the elasticity of the hair. Then I like Pisum Sativum Peptide, a plant-based protein that strengthens the hair. It also contains oils like Argan and Sunflower oil. As you can see, the product also works as a nourishing balm spray in addition to heat protection. An all-in-one product that I think is super affordable and good. The hair becomes soft, easy to comb out, and shiny. A very good budget tip that competes with the more expensive brands. The effect of the heat protection is unfortunately too short to see how the protection works.
