This is more like a hybrid between toner and lotion, which I actually really like. The consistency is super light and almost watery, but not too runny, more like a slightly thicker “milk” that is easy to work with. It absorbs quickly without sitting on the skin, and the skin feels immediately fresher and more “plump”. It’s the kind of product that provides moisture without you noticing you have anything on your skin. I especially like it in the morning or under makeup, since it doesn’t get sticky or heavy. It works really well if you like a simple and light routine. This surprised me a bit. I expected a pretty standard cleansing balm, but this one actually has a bit of "personality". The consistency is firm in the jar, but as soon as you work it between your fingers, it melts quickly and becomes an oily, silky-smooth texture that is very pleasant to massage into the skin. It dissolves makeup and sunscreen, I especially noticed that even mascara comes off quite quickly. It doesn't feel like you have to "work" to get your skin clean, it does the job for you. Afterwards, the skin feels soft and calm, not tight or dry.💧 BUT, and here we have to be honest, it can leave a little "film" if you just rinse it off. For me, it worked best to use a damp cloth or go in with a light cleanser afterwards.
