I use the oil from Aco as a makeup remover, especially for eye makeup right now. It works very well even on waterproof makeup. Then I do a double cleanse with #smuuti and #dermalogica and then a toner from #aco. I follow up with my favorite essence from #drceuracle, which I, for the observant, also use around the eyes kind of like how people used to put cucumber slices. This is after I had an absurd reaction to Lyko’s micellar water that made me intolerant to any of the products I used around my eyes, but this one has worked and calmed me down. So now I just haven’t found anything else yet. I tend to want to finish things up. Maybe I’ll use some Cosrx going forward since I just bought some of their products. I’ve also used a bit of #eyepatches #ögonmasker sometimes. I’m currently using Lumene’s lash serum, read that someone said it didn’t sting like others when it gets in the eyes... that’s not true. This one stings too and the results are pretty much nothing, just like with others I’ve tried, but you have to use it twice a day all the time, if you forget once it’s over. So I don’t know why I even try. Usually, I don’t use any serum, just this ampoule or another, or both... but both are also from Dr.Ceuracle. Sometimes I also use a clay mask from them. But that’s of course after the toner. I finish with a day or night cream. Right now it’s the day cream from Smuuti shown from the morning routine. I also use the lip mask from Mario Badescu but honestly, can someone tell me what makes it a #lipmask? I honestly don’t get it. It’s a bit sticky and it’s hard to get a lip pencil on the lips afterwards because it tends to slide off. Otherwise, I don’t feel it does much. If I don’t eat anything, it keeps the lips sticky longer than other products but I don’t feel my lips absorb the product, more that it just sits on top. Too much work to get them in place
They feel nice and moisturizing BUT before you get them in place under the eyes, you get frustrated and lose patience, which ruins the experience of a little extra luxury. First of all, they are very hard to get out of the jar despite the included spatula, so it gets very messy. Once you finally get them in place under the eyes, they slide down again and again and you have to go back and forth to the mirror to fix them. They are very moist, cooling and relaxing, and I love that they actually stay in place instead of slowly sliding down my face. 😂 The jar also stays nice and moist, so the patches haven’t started drying out. They can still be a little tricky to separate from each other, but honestly that’s a small complaint considering the price and how nice they feel on my skin. As for results, I wouldn’t call them a miracle product, but my under-eye area feels hydrated, refreshed and smoother after using them. I especially like them at night when I’m relaxing before bed. ❤️ Korean skincare has been pretty hit-or-miss for my skin in the past, so I wasn't sure how these would go, but these have definitely been a hit for me. Multifunctional patches that impress
I have tried several of Xlash's eye patches and have loved them all. What I like most about these is that they have multiple functions and really do their job – they cool nicely and feel properly moisturizing. They slide down a bit more than the ones I've tried before, but that's probably because they contain a lot of serum, which I see as a plus. After a little while, though, they sit really well. The only downside is the price, which feels a bit too high for my wallet. I actually thought these eye patches were really good. They feel comfortable under the eyes and moisturize well. Perfect when you're tired or want to give your skin a little extra glow. The only thing that lowers the rating is the price. I think they are a bit too expensive for the amount you get, even though the product itself works well. If they were a bit cheaper, they would get full marks from me. Expensive but good
My last assignment as a Lyko influencer in 2025 consisted of three products from Verso. I have previously had great trust in Verso, mainly because it is a Swedish company, and what I have used from the brand before has never disappointed me. Here are my thoughts on these eye patches, but first a little about my skin around the eyes: 🫣 A whole lot of crow's feet. 😒 Rarely dark circles, but often I get bags under my eyes. (Constantly looking for a "quick fix" to achieve a fresher look in the morning) 🙂 Not particularly sensitive around the eyes. 🥴 Somewhat dry. Thoughts on the product: ✨ Regular jar with a screw lid and spatula included. ✨ Plenty of serum. ✨ Quite thick patches, initially hard to determine if you have taken double patches. ✨ A bit tricky to pry up. Usage: 💥 I store these in the fridge for a little extra oomph. 💥 Personally, I prefer to have the "thick" side facing the nose. 💥 I apply these on completely dry skin, so no skincare beforehand. (I don't want them to lose grip due to underlying skincare) 💥 Stays put like a charm, doesn't slide around at all. 💥 No tingling, itching, or other discomfort. The result: 👍 I think they give me a fresher look. 🤏 I can't completely magic away the bags, but we make good progress. 🙏 Summary: Incredibly luxurious patches that I wish I could use every morning for the rest of my life, but that's where my wallet says stop. But having really good patches at home, I think everyone should have to pamper their skin a few times a week. There is actually a difference between cheap and expensive patches, I must say, and I would recommend these any day of the week, especially to you with mature and/or sensitive skin.
