Finally something that works!
I have struggled with my scalp for as long as I can remember and have tried so many different products. I have also gone through treatments, but the problems always came back. This shampoo, however, has worked really well for me, and I am so happy to finally have found something that actually helps! I use it after a detox shampoo, and I think the combination works very well. The shampoo feels light in the hair, smells fresh, and doesn’t sting the scalp. I previously had the slightly wider model from Revlon and was very satisfied with it, so when the old one started to wear out, I had to try this one. I actually think this gives an even more defined and nice blowout than the previous one. The hair becomes smooth, airy, and gets more volume, and it’s so easy to get a nice result at home while it dries the hair. The only downside is that it’s a bit noisy, but since it dries the hair at the same time, I don’t really think it’s a big problem. Hair smelled like smoke after use
Got this in the Lyko Lovables Hi Girl kit, and unfortunately it was a big disappointment. The smell is simply awful. It reminds me of campfire or smoke, and my hair smelled like I had been sitting by a campfire after use. The smell lingers in the hair until the next wash. It was so bad that I couldn’t use the product more than once. Additionally, the hair feels sticky and heavy after application, which makes the experience even worse. It does give a bit of volume, and that’s the only reason it gets 2 stars. 🌸 Almond scent and summer feeling
I was so lucky to win the L’Occitane en Provence contest 😍💛 In the prize, I got Almond Shower Oil, Almond Shimmering Body Oil, and Almond Hair & Body Mist. I haven’t had time to test the shower oil yet, but it smells absolutely wonderful! The same goes for the body mist and body oil. 🤍 I’ve already tried the body oil, and it gives a really nice glow to the skin without feeling sticky. Glow and Firmness for Dry, Dehydrated Skin with Inactive Eczema
I have been so lucky to test Dermalogica BioLumin-C Serum 30ml😍 I have been using it for almost 3 weeks, about 2-3 times a week, and my dry and dehydrated skin with inactive eczema tolerated it well. Fortunately, it does not trigger eczema. I use the serum in the morning after cleansing and always follow up with sunscreen. The skin feels firmer and gets a nice glow after application, and I like that the serum has a slightly thick consistency that glides easily into the skin. A small downside for me is that the serum contains fragrance and smells like orange. I prefer fragrance-free products, as I have previously experienced that eczema is triggered by fragrance (which has not happened with this one). The product is described as a highly concentrated serum that works with the skin’s natural defenses, gives glow, firmness, and a more even skin tone, and combines ultra-stable vitamin C with peptides and cell-renewing AHA. For me, it works as promised; the skin looks fresher and more radiant. Unfortunately, the price level is quite steep, so I will not be buying it on my own right now, but if the price were a bit lower, I would definitely consider having the serum as a regular part of my routine. All in all: an effective serum that gives glow and firmness. Mild but effective on dehydrated, sensitive skin
I have been so lucky to receive Dermalogica Daily Microfoliant 13😍 I have been using the product for almost 3 weeks now, 2-3 times a week, and I am really satisfied! I have dry and dehydrated skin with inactive eczema, so I have to be careful with exfoliation. The powder is mixed with a little water and rubbed between the hands until it becomes a light foaming paste, which I then massage onto my face in circular motions (for about 1 minute) before rinsing thoroughly with lukewarm water. I use it on clean skin in the evening, right after cleansing with Dermalogica Special Cleansing Gel, and my skin feels super soft and smooth, while my eczema does not get irritated. A small downside is that you have to mix the powder with water yourself, which makes the skincare routine a bit longer. But the upside of this is that it lasts longer in use. The product description states that the rice-based enzyme powder micro-exfoliates the skin effectively, while the botanical complex contributes to a more even skin tone over time. I agree, and I think my makeup looks much nicer the day after I have used the exfoliation. All in all: a mild but effective exfoliant!
