Recently got asked what hair care I use, and I probably haven’t shown it that much ☺️ Have thin hair strands (Scandinavian) that I air dry wavy myself 💜〰️ Favorites I switch between: IN THE SHOWER * 𝓙𝓲𝓷𝓰𝓵𝓮 𝓑𝓮𝓪𝓾𝓽𝔂, 𝓢𝓬𝓪𝓵𝓹 𝓢𝓮𝓻𝓾𝓶 𝓕𝓸𝓻𝓶𝓾𝓵𝓪 – A warm amber-scented shampoo that cleans well and gives a bit of volume without drying out – big favorite 🤍 * 𝓚𝓲𝓷𝓭, 𝓢𝓬𝓪𝓵𝓹 𝓢𝓬𝓻𝓾𝓫 𝓜𝓪𝓼𝓴 – Honey-scented (plus a bit of citrus/flower) mask that makes hair super soft and shiny. Rich and nourishing, use when hair feels extra dry/frizzy 🍯 * 𝓢𝓬𝓪𝓵𝓹 𝓥𝓸𝓵𝓾𝓶𝓮 𝓑𝓸𝓸𝓼𝓽, 𝓢𝓬𝓪𝓵𝓹 𝓢𝓬𝓻𝓾𝓫 – for extra volume boost in the shower (mix with shampoo and conditioner) 💆🏻‍♀️ * 𝓟𝓾𝓻𝓮 𝓢𝓬𝓪𝓵𝓹 𝓒𝓵𝓮𝓪𝓷𝓼𝓮𝓻 – resets hair a few times a month to avoid product buildup – natural fall/volume comes back 🩵 * 𝓢𝓱𝓲𝓷𝔂 𝓢𝓮𝓻𝓾𝓶 – incredibly shiny and bouncy hair, with a “smooth feeling” that does flatten my waves a bit. Smells citrus-fresh salon. 🩶✨ * 𝓢𝓬𝓪𝓵𝓹 𝓢𝓮𝓻𝓾𝓶, 𝓢𝓬𝓪𝓵𝓹 𝓜𝓪𝓼𝓴 – At first I struggled with the strong herbal scent in the conditioner, but it’s okay now. Good moisture and shine without flattening waves + reduces frizz! 💜 OILS * 𝓛𝓲𝓰𝓱𝓽 𝓞𝓲𝓵, 𝓟𝓪𝓼𝓼𝓲𝓸𝓷𝓯𝓻𝓾𝓲𝓽 𝓪𝓷𝓭 𝓜𝓸𝓻𝓲𝓷𝓰𝓪 – Light oil with e.g. passionfruit and moringa oil. Smells absolutely lovely luxurious citrus-herbal. 🍋 * 𝓑𝓾𝓭𝓰𝓮𝓽 𝓞𝓲𝓵 – My budget favorite, also feels light and smells very good, sweet and fresh! 💖 * 𝓢𝓮𝓿𝓮𝓷 𝓞𝓲𝓵 𝓜𝓲𝔁 – Contains 7 different oils, wonderful scent. Somewhat thicker/heavier (use a small pump) 💛 CARE / STYLING * 𝓐𝓿𝓸𝓬𝓪𝓭𝓸 𝓢𝓮𝓻𝓾𝓶 – Cares for and softens without silicones, with e.g. avocado and apple seed oil. Should smell like melon/cucumber, but I think sweet apple 🩷 * 𝓛𝓲𝓰𝓱𝓽 𝓒𝓻𝓮𝓪𝓶 – Light cream that gives some definition/hold to waves, with some care at the same time, fresh unisex scent 🩵 * 𝓒𝓲𝓽𝓻𝓾𝓼 𝓜𝓲𝓼𝓽 – Very nice for bringing out more waves and air drying (cares at the same time) and smells citrus 💛 STYLING * 𝓟𝓻𝓲𝓬𝓮 𝓢𝓹𝓻𝓪𝔂 – Best tip I’ve found here 😊 Affordable, you use so little, incredibly effective! A few sprays and massage out. Only downside is hair can get static. Fresh neutral scent 🩵 * 𝓣𝓪𝓵𝓴-𝓕𝓻𝓮𝓮 𝓓𝓻𝔂 𝓢𝓱𝓪𝓶𝓹𝓸 – Talc-free dry shampoo with incredible scent!! Fresh grapefruit, fruity apricot, lily of the valley, vanilla & sandalwood 🧡🩷.     This "dry shampoo" comes in the form of a foam that should be blow-dried in. For me, the concept is a bit "strange." I often use dry shampoo as a quick fix when I don't have time to wash my hair... Then I actually don't have time to blow-dry it either... But if you first take the time to use this product, it works well. Gives nice volume and a bit of texture. #lykocreator #dryshampoo

    Latest batch of empties I don’t have the patience to save as long as some of you, so you get the ones I remember to save as I go. I’ve tried to wait for some, but now I couldn’t anymore. I have several packages that will soon be empty. So I’ll probably have to update again in about a week or so... these products are all okay or better, no real low points this time. So the bottom three would probably be Origins, Waterclouds, and Starskin eye patches, but that one is tricky. The aloe vera is the one that has lasted the longest. I accidentally dropped the Lumene powder, and when it breaks, the contents disappear rapidly, it’s like the sand in an hourglass, I think most of it has unfortunately spilled out. Not the product’s fault, but you know my repurchase still fell on the foundation version, which I consider slightly better. The last picture is of the products I would rank highest among these. One of them is no longer sold at Lyko, but I have bought both this one and the unopened one I still have at home from here because I appreciated it. I really like Smuuti, light and nice feeling. Unfortunately, I tend to like it so much that it looks more like I just got out of the bath when I use it because I use generous amounts, and then it also runs out quickly. Haruharu has also been a very good SPF for the face that works well under makeup and doesn’t irritate the skin in any way. The one I started with after this hasn’t come close to the same level.     Unboxing secret selection Ok, a bit of a disappointment.. this contained way too many small test sizes or mini/travel sizes for me to be satisfied. For me, quite a few unknown brands as well. I'm sure you have better control. Maybe I'll learn to appreciate some more or find something. Some really good Moroccanoil, Clarins, and perfume from Issey Miyake would be my top three.     Aren't we always on the hunt for a really good dry shampoo? 🙋‍♀️ I actually think this dry shampoo stands out a bit – and for three reasons: 🫧 It cleans the hair effectively without leaving it rough or stiff. You know that horrible feeling? Yuck! 😅 🌺 It smells really good and gives a fresh feeling to the hair. 💁‍♀️ It gives nice volume and makes the hair feel fuller and more styled. The only thing I find less good is the price 💸 – it’s quite expensive for a dry shampoo.     After trying these two dry shampoos, I will go back to Batiste. The main reason is the price and the spray applicator. The biggest downside of Batiste is that it sometimes makes my scalp itch, but I can live with that since it also helps me with my hair color.       I have tried both. I was also thinking of doing a comparison here soon where I show both. Got2b is softer and gives a bit more of a product feel, while K18 can be used on the go without the hair needing to dry to look fresh. But for the price, totally acceptable. However, I find it hard to give up K18 for Got2b as long as my wallet lets me continue 🙃💕
