I have received this beautiful toiletry bag filled with lovely things for the baby and new parents. The toiletry bag contains two nice small muslin cloths made of soft cotton, a brush with super soft bristles for the baby's first little hairstyle, a shower soap for the sensitive baby skin, and a nice baby oil that is also great for moisturizing the pregnant belly. Perfect kit
I have been lucky as a Lyko influencer tester, together with my 2 1/2-year-old, to try this Gentle Care Baby Kit from Estelle & Thild. First of all, I just have to mention the toiletry bag, it has become a big favorite here at home. The color is perfectly neutral and the fabric is wonderfully soft. It is not only practical thanks to how spacious it is, but also fits well on the bathroom shelf. The Baby Wash is perfect for sensitive skin and cleanses without irritating or drying out. Big plus for the sleek and practical packaging that makes it easy to get the right amount of soap, and that it is 100% fragrance-free. When used in the bath, it foams a little right when you pour it, although the foam disappears quite quickly. Mom & Baby oil was a positive surprise that I gladly borrow from my little one. It gives a nice glow and feels nourishing. The only downside is that it can be a bit tricky to get into the bathwater (requires some shaking), but it is so good on the skin that it doesn’t matter. The muslin cloths have a very nice beige tone and breathe very well. The only downside is the size; they are somewhat small and I would probably have preferred a larger cloth instead of two small ones. Finally, the baby brush is incredibly soft – it will definitely be gentle on all little baby heads. A nice kit that checks all the boxes: fragrance-free, gentle, and incredibly stylish. Although the cloths could have been a bit bigger, the overall impression is 10/10. I have been so lucky to have tested this from #estellethild as #lykoinflutester for a few weeks. I have a son who just turned 4 who has been the one doing the actual testing 😜 The toiletry bag is super cute! Big plus that it’s for both genders and not typically pink/blue. It has good space and is practical with a zipper. It’s soft too! The first thing we tested was the baby wash. It lathers nicely and did the job, I think. Sooooo nice that it’s completely fragrance-free and perfume-free too since that’s something we try to avoid at home. The oil was also very nice after a bath/shower for both me and my child. The skin became silky soft! I have tested this baby kit from Estelle&Thild on my 10-month-old niece/nephew, and the first impression was very positive! 🥰 The whole set comes in a cute and practical toiletry bag, which makes it easy to keep the products together or take them on trips. Or use it for whatever you want! The brush has very soft and pleasant bristles. It is gentle on the skin and doesn’t feel stiff like I have experienced with some other baby brushes. It glides nicely through the hair and feels very mild. The oil has a neutral and pleasant scent. It provides good moisture to the skin without feeling heavy or very greasy. It absorbs surprisingly well, which I like. The only small downside is that the bottle is a bit hard to squeeze, so it can be a little difficult to get the product out. Moisturizing body lotion that promises silky soft skin with a quick-drying and lightweight formula. Sounds really good, as I’m bad at moisturizing my body skin, precisely because I can’t wait for the skin to dry from greasiness. Let’s just say I’m quite clumsy about it 😅 sometimes I get excited or it’s just a must when the skin is already flaking from dryness, and beautifully moisturized skin is also really beautiful. On the other hand, now is a good time to test it since my skin is as dry as a cracker.🤭 What must be said right away about this is that it is organic certified 💪🤩👏 First impression; a basic practical and simple pump bottle, and under the pump is a seal, so no damage can occur before it is opened (e.g. during transport). As someone who has used a bit of grease, I can’t say if there’s usually a cap on such pump bottles, but at least generally, cosmetic products have caps. It feels a bit strange. It seems lonely without it 🤭 The pump is, however, lockable, it needs to be turned a bit to open, and turning it the opposite way locks it. I’ll try it and....🤤 what a scent!!! I can’t even start applying it because I keep sniffing the lovely vanilla tangerine scent. It reminds me of a delicious vanilla pastry with something citrusy creamy or something like that. And I really want to smell like this!!🤩 My dog also loved the scent, and I had to tell him it’s not edible 🤭 The scent lingers on the skin only as long as it is fully absorbed🥹. Maybe that’s still good news for those who don’t like the scent lingering or being noticeable in any way. The product really delivers on its promise - I immediately thought about how light it is, but will it absorb so quickly that even I (the patient one) am satisfied. And as a note; I took a generous amount. I’m trying it on my arms, which I just applied before my legs - and they are completely dry 👏 actually soft and dry 👏 It’s just the right time for me, thinking that when I come out of the shower, I could apply it here, and while I put on my facial care products, it’s already dried, win-win.🎖️ The product is also really light, not creamy but truly lotion. I would think this would work well as a maintenance moisture lotion. Such dry and quite neglected skin like mine absorbs the product quite a bit, but once you get the balance, you don’t need much of this. I initially applied it all over my skin with about 4 large 🍓 equivalent amounts. (2 for hands and two for legs) After a few weeks of irregular use (about 3 weeks about 3-4 times/week), I notice that my skin is soft and moisturized.🤩👏 It’s wonderful that such a light product can moisturize so effectively. And quite quickly, maybe already after 2-3 applications, I noticed that I no longer need to apply so much. Especially after the shower, it’s nice to apply when the skin is damp, it locks in moisture and crowns the shower like a mini spa moment, with its lovely scent. The scent also lifts my spirits.😌 In summary, I would say that the product is extremely pleasant and recommendable. Moreover, that it is organic certified and an even more functional whole than many other chemical alternatives crowns it. I can’t find anything about the product that would make me reduce stars. It is absolutely ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ worthy and truly deserves it. A barely OK body lotion in a pump bottle. A pretty, delicate bottle that makes a small lift on the bathroom counter. Looks more expensive than the price suggests. The content is white. 2 pumps cover one arm. (small product, lasts long in use) At first, the scent is sweet and lovely, then it turns into a sour smell that is not attractive or positive at all. The citrus scent makes the overall impression worse. The skin feels sticky, even hours after application, as if it will never absorb or dry. And it doesn't provide moisture either. I have been so lucky to test out the moisturizer from Estelle & Thild for a while now, and I am very positively surprised. My dry skin needs A LOT of moisture, and this did wonders. The cream has a lovely and mild vanilla scent and is very economical in use! If you take too much, it doesn't absorb properly and sits on top like a layer. It doesn't feel sticky afterwards and absorbs quickly🙏🏻. The skin feels smooth and silky soft for a long time after application. It contains shea butter, jojoba oil, and aloe vera, among other things. It is a vegan body lotion, and it is also organically environmentally certified, which is very positive. I received #estellethild Vanilla Tangerine Soften Body Lotion for review. The cream feels light and absorbs quickly, but is also protective and moisturizing. When I washed my hands after applying the cream, my hands felt like they were left with some sort of protective layer. The cream smells like citrus pastry, orange chocolate, and a bit festive. I think mandarin and vanilla smell harmonious together🍦🍊. The body lotion is great as a base for sweet and vanilla-scented perfumes. I believe it will also work well with fresher citrus scents🍋🍊. When I spread it, I can’t think of anything else but FAZERIINAN CHOCOLATE! Very astonishing😄 And by the way, it’s the perfect combination for a gift for someone! On the skin, the scent became a bit calmer, but the longevity of the scent was surprisingly good! I feel that the potential and uniqueness of this cream is precisely in this scent. The cream itself was promised to be light and absorbent. The cream didn’t stay white on the skin, and a little moisture didn’t make application difficult at all. The skin remained super soft after use, but I don’t think this moisture will be sufficient for me in the worst winter time. I've been using this night cream for a while now, and I am really positively surprised by this cream. Missing something
I had high hopes for this eye cream and was looking forward to an eye cream that would give me lots of moisture and help with dryness lines. And especially since it is described as both mild, active, and moisturizing, which I appreciate with sensitive skin. It has a light consistency and contains nice ingredients like oat extract and elderflower, which are supposed to be soothing and reduce swelling. And since I work in front of a computer all day, I need a boost in the eye cream. Unfortunately, I didn’t find that it provided enough moisture to the area around my eyes. My skin still felt a bit dry, especially throughout the day. It seems to make no difference whether I use the eye cream together with day or night cream from the same line, with products I already have at home, or completely on its own. Sometimes my skin reacts and sometimes it doesn't; I can't find any pattern. Little/No Visible Effect
I had hoped this would be to my liking, especially since it is organic certified, cruelty-free, and marketed as soothing for sensitive skin. Unfortunately, I did not experience the effect that was promised. The consistency is light, but it lays on the skin like a matte layer and doesn't feel very hydrating. As for the effect, I noticed none?😅My skin actually felt a bit dry again after a while, despite containing ingredients like apricot kernel oil, shea butter, and jojoba oil. It provided no noticeable improvement for me, even after several weeks of use morning and night. I appreciate that 99.7% of the ingredients are of natural origin. But in practice, it feels more like a superficial barrier than a deeply penetrating eye cream. I had hoped for a more noticeable and long-lasting effect, especially since it is targeted towards sensitive skin.
