But it disappears after a few minutes. Light in texture at first (gel-cream), a bit thicker/sticky when working it out, but dries quickly – I actually experience a smoothing film feeling and a bit of glow! ✨ 𝓈𝓅𝑒𝒸𝓈 𝒻𝑜𝓇 𝓉𝒽𝑒 𝓃𝑒𝓌 𝓅𝓇𝑜𝒹𝓊𝒸𝓉? According to the manufacturer: • Should immediately tighten and firm • Provide a visible lift of the eyelids • Visibly smooth lines and eyelids • Provide intense moisture • Compatible with other skincare & makeup • Give a glow My opinion: I think it lives up to smoothing the skin a bit right away. But my hooded eyes haven't noticed any lift in the eyelids. I can't see my fine lines reduced over 3 weeks (except a little temporary effect). I like the moisture and subtle glow it gives. Works especially well with makeup on top and hasn't rolled with my other products. Even though it contains shea butter, I don't find it too greasy. I also haven't noticed any extra acne around the eyes ++ My skin: 35+ with fine lines, a bit dark under the eyes but no puffiness. Combination skin that easily gets oily around the eyes + acne-prone. A bit sensitive. Sweet, but not over the top. Cool vanilla and not heavy. Neither vanilla nor floral dominates. Well balanced. Love that you find many notes the more you wear it ☺️: Buttery flower, lightly sweet and salty, oriental, a bit spicy, airy clean-air feeling, powdery, creamy. ➖ However, dry wood in the dry down on my skin which I dislike, feels a bit masculine 🪵 (appears a few hours after I sprayed concentrated on my wrist). If I instead spray light clouds more spread out over skin and clothes – I experience the scent as soft and feminine all the way through. ☁️ The perfume seems mild for the surroundings (asked friends standing a meter away, they didn’t seem to notice it, despite 3 sprays 😊). Positive is that it seems suitable as an everyday perfume (also for me who is sometimes scent sensitive). 🧡 Not as strong as "intense" might be interpreted – but deep and warm. 𝓛𝓲𝓷𝓷𝓪 𝓛𝓲𝓷𝓷𝓪: For me, the best scent lasts about 2.5 hours, then the wood comes out more. After 5 hours the scent is much weaker. 8 hours very weak, but I still feel it a bit on the skin. 𝓢𝓪𝓻𝓪: Been a clean-girl with fruity notes for 10+ years (still love it), but lately drawn to warmer scents. However, don’t like heavy vanilla, very floral or strong wood. 𝓙𝓾𝓵𝓲𝓪: Surprised it doesn’t smell more vanilla, expected heavier vanilla. Not a strong perfume. Really bubbly, sweet and fruity and reminds me a bit of a drink. If you have tried Kayali Sparkling Lychee or Candied Lychee by The 7 Virtues, there are similarities. But I think the lychee/peach scent is clearer than the flowers in CLEANS, and it is lighter and not as deep. But it dries down a bit woody ☺️. 👄 rimmel – Butter Me Up reminds me of Nudestix Hydra-Peptide Lip Butter in texture (but without the cooling sensation). At first, it looks white-gray, but becomes skin-toned when I blend it out and fits perfectly with my neutral pale skin tone. Doesn’t cover everything I want (scars/acne), but it’s only supposed to have light coverage. Still, I think the overall skin tone evens out nicely and I like the feeling it gives! 🤍 A bit thicker/heavier consistency that feels smoothing on the skin surface. The skin feels smooth and I find that less makeup is needed on top and it sets more evenly/better. Also contains moisture + my favorite ingredient centella. The color "Brun Leather" is unique and surprising. Not only is it a nice chocolate brown, it also has small shimmer particles of reddish brown/copper that show a bit when the light hits the lashes 👁️🍫✨ I have somewhat shorter and straight lashes without a lash curler. Therefore, I have used a lash curler. USAGE: The brush is medium-sized and flexible. The bristles are quite close together. The formula is creamy thick, but absolutely not dry (tested daily for about 1 week). I get more volume and fullness to the lashes than length. Separates okay when zigzagging. I don’t experience clumps, but it’s a bit harder to get the right amount on the very smallest lashes. DURABILITY: Very good durability, lasts all day! Zero flakes. I get oily around the eyes easily, but experience very little smudging with this one. Also washes off easily with warm water 🚿 A very good mascara that I will probably buy! For me, who often chooses lighter creams due to acne, it almost feels like a “forbidden fruit” to use 😅 It contains fats (but I think it absorbs well within about 10 minutes). 🧴 Was worried it would trigger my acne, so I introduced it in small amounts (1-2 pumps) about every other day. The post was made 5 monthsRating: 2 out of 5A bit of a prickly “shampoo-soap scent” 🧼As a #lykotestpilot, I unfortunately haven’t been able to use this very often due to the scent and some irritation. The product contains several fragrance ingredients, and the first thing I reacted to was exactly the scent. I find it a bit prickly, sharp, and unpleasant. Unexpectedly “soapy,” a bit of a cleaning scent, like shampoo/soap, but also somewhat floral and perfumed at the same time. It can be described as fresh, but unfortunately not a favorite in an essence I want to apply generously. (As a preference, I also dislike the scent in the Hyal-Reyouth toner from Dr Ceuracle for the same reason). 🧼🙅🏻♀️ I probably expected a softer floral scent or maybe more plum-like (since the bottle is pink and has “plum extract”) 🌸💜 Application: I have used it as a toner. The consistency is like a mix between toner and serum. A “slippery” feeling at first, reminded me a bit of the Snail Mucin Essence I recently tried – but more watery and not “stringy.” Sticky for the first minute, but dries quickly (about 5 minutes). Since I like to apply several layers of my toner/essence, I tried two layers – very moisture-saturated skin then, almost like the skin gets a moisture-binding “film.” 💧 When I apply my serums over it, I get a quicker than usual moisture-saturated and humectant-heavy feeling. (Usually, I love the plumping effect from hyaluronic acid in serums and can apply generously, but didn’t quite get the same feeling here 💧) Irritation: The scent lingers for a long time, at least 30 minutes. Together with the “Revitalising Day Cream,” it was way too many fragrance ingredients for me, and my skin became red, irritated, and itchy (especially where I had active acne). I also experience some irritation from this essence alone. 🔴 Skin type: 34 years old, combination: surface dry + a bit oily T-zone during the day. Have acne. And fine lines that I like to plump. Can sometimes be a bit sensitive, especially to strong scents on the face. I will not continue to use the product. It's one of the gentler gel cleansers I've tried, but you still feel clean and fresh 😊 I like that it has gentle cleansing agents, moisturizing ingredients, and a fun touch with cucumber extract. 🥒 A simple aesthetic bottle with a screw cap (would be more convenient with a flip cap, but at the same time, screw caps can mean less leakage and mess). 🤍 A slightly thicker transparent gel, but together with water it becomes a bit creamier and white. Can be foamed up a little, but I think it feels mostly creamy. 🧴 Completely fragrance-free but smells a little lightly earthy/maybe cucumber, something natural but fresh. I've tested cleansing both with and without makeup. I don't feel it removes absolutely all makeup on its own – I get some foundation residue on a cotton pad. But it's water-based, so I didn't really expect otherwise. My experience is that oil/wax-based products often dissolve makeup best. But very nice as a step-2 cleanser or when you haven't worn makeup. 🫧 About me: 34 years old, combination and surface dry with a slightly oily T-zone. I feel the product suits me very well. I have somewhat shorter and straight lashes without an eyelash curler. Therefore, I have used an eyelash curler. USAGE: The brush is large and flexible. The bristles are spaced a bit apart. Easy to apply color and build up. Separates well. But maybe a bit too much. My lashes look fewer but thicker. Easy to build volume, lift, and length. But after a few layers, it clumps at the tips of the lashes. DURABILITY: I find that the lashes stay put during the day, maybe lose a bit of shape. Hardly any smudging. However, I need powder around the eyes for best durability – with more dewy oil-based makeup or makeup-free days, it can smudge a bit. WATERPROOF? 🤔 The mascara behaves a bit like a 38°C-degree/tubing mascara: I can actually remove it with warm water on a pad and dab a few times, then it comes off in small flakes. Very pigmented, but easy to get even and blend out on the cheeks. Best application when I put the product on the back of my hand and pick it up from there with a firmer brush (like for liquid products), then dab it onto the cheeks. Really nice. Matte finish. A bit nostalgic too, the mousse reminds me of mousse foundation I used before. Creamy and fluffy soft ☁️. Stays well with powder and setting spray, but has melted away a bit patchy after 5 hours. Scent: No perfume but smells lightly like the pigments I use for art (not strong or disturbing, I don’t notice the scent on the skin). 🎨 Lips / eyes: Didn’t like this on the lips. Feels more like a light tint (not fully covering), drier finish, and it settles a bit unevenly / pigment sticks to dry flakes. Wear: after 2.5 hours + food and drink, lips still have a slight pink tone, but as eyeshadow almost gone and has settled into creases. Shade 30 looks more yellow at first but fits okay for my neutral light facial skin, maybe a shade darker 🌞. Skin type: combination and slightly dry, which can get a bit shinier towards the end of the day. Usually use separate SPF and CC Cream from Lumene, which I like. This BB Cream feels like a moisturizing hybrid of skincare, SPF, and foundation. Rich texture, easy to blend, but doesn’t fully cover my pimples. The finish is nicely dewy but feels sticky – doesn’t fully dry. With a lot of powder, it can get cakey in some areas; without powder, the coverage melts away after a few hours, so it’s a balancing act. Scent: No perfume listed in the ingredients, but I still notice a stronger scent (unfortunately in a stinging way). There’s also something in the product that irritates my eyes/nose if I have it close, causing both to water... Nice finish, but hard to use as SPF for me over the whole face (can’t have it near eyes/nose). Pinkish brown in some lights. I usually like slightly cooler lips – but this one is nice anyway and will probably suit many ♥️🤎 Soft, easy-to-apply formula with a matte finish, but not as moisturizing as I expected. Creamy and opaque at first, but dries down within about an hour and highlights some dry flakes. Scent: Vanilla caramel fudge (a bit annoying scent in my opinion) but disappears quickly. Wearability: Okay. After about an hour (walk + water) mostly just tint remains. Needs to be reapplied several times during the day to maintain creaminess. Nice packaging, with a small minus for the square cap that only fits in 1 of 4 angles (have to search).
