First impression is that the glass bottle is nice and 250ml looks big for diffuser sticks ๐ค ๐ข๐ฌ๐ฎ๐ท๐ฝ: Supposed to smell of green tea, citrus, and sage. I find it extra sour, almost grassy, and "green citrus." The scent reminds me a bit of lemongrass, but without sweetness, or bergamot. So very light, green, and fresh. ๐ฟ๐โ๐ฉ I am however torn about the scent. Really fresh, but not as unique and herbal as I initially expected. But the scent has grown on me (after trying other products in the series). In my opinion, it fits especially well for the home โ so perfect for diffuser sticks. ๐ฑ ๐ข๐ฃ๐ก๐๐๐๐ฃ๐: I do find the scent a bit sharp and the strength extra intense in the diffuser sticks. I quite quickly got irritation in my throat (had exactly the same with several other diffuser sticks) and have not been able to keep it out. I am sometimes sensitive to strong scents in my home. Also, the bottle is bigger than the ones I usually buy (100ml would suit my home better โ I live small!) My tip is to choose size based on how big you live! Those perfect, shiny curls you sometimes see? Often, the hair is first straightened or blow-dried straight and then styled with a curling iron. Thatโs a different look โ on different hair. When we style our naturally curly hair, we work with our natural texture. And there will always be a little frizz โ more or less. Both results are beautiful! Donโt try to mimic how someone with straight hair tries to create curls. It wonโt look the same โ and we donโt want it to either. Work with your texture, not against it ๐ โณ ๐ฟ After a proper wash with shampoo and conditioner, I applied a curl cream to very wet hair directly in the shower. Then I let my hair rest in a microfiber towel for a while before applying a gel with strong hold. ๐ Many become hesitant when the gel dries stiff โ but thatโs exactly what we want! The stiffness encapsulates the curl pattern while the hair dries. When the hair is completely dry, you scrunch out the stiffness โ and youโre left with defined curls with minimal frizz and nice hold. โณ My best tips when drying with a diffuser: ๐จ Donโt touch the curls at first! Let the dryer circulate around the hair โ we want the curls to set in their natural shape. ๐ Tilt your head forward and backward, up and down, to create volume and get air at the roots. ๐ When the gel starts to set, gently lift certain sections to better reach the scalp โ without disturbing the curl pattern. โ When the hair is clearly stiff, start scrunching with your hands while drying. This releases the hard outer layer and builds volume at the same time. ๐ฌ๏ธ Dry completely dry โ not 80 or 90%. It makes a big difference for both shape and durability. ๐ง Finish with a light hair oil on the ends and lengths for shine and protection. โณ ๐ Tip!
