How to dry your hair for completely frizz-free curls

Just kidding – frizz-free curls are not a reasonable goal. Those perfect, shiny curls you sometimes see? Often, the hair is first straightened or blow-dried straight and then styled with a curling iron. That’s a different look – on different hair. When we style our naturally curly hair, we work with our natural texture. And there will always be a little frizz – more or less. Both results are beautiful! Don’t try to mimic how someone with straight hair tries to create curls. It won’t look the same – and we don’t want it to either. Work with your texture, not against it 💛 ⏳ 🚿 After a proper wash with shampoo and conditioner, I applied a curl cream to very wet hair directly in the shower. Then I let my hair rest in a microfiber towel for a while before applying a gel with strong hold. 👉 Many become hesitant when the gel dries stiff – but that’s exactly what we want! The stiffness encapsulates the curl pattern while the hair dries. When the hair is completely dry, you scrunch out the stiffness – and you’re left with defined curls with minimal frizz and nice hold. ⏳ My best tips when drying with a diffuser: 💨 Don’t touch the curls at first! Let the dryer circulate around the hair – we want the curls to set in their natural shape. 🔁 Tilt your head forward and backward, up and down, to create volume and get air at the roots. 🌀 When the gel starts to set, gently lift certain sections to better reach the scalp – without disturbing the curl pattern. ✋ When the hair is clearly stiff, start scrunching with your hands while drying. This releases the hard outer layer and builds volume at the same time. 🌬️ Dry completely dry – not 80 or 90%. It makes a big difference for both shape and durability. 💧 Finish with a light hair oil on the ends and lengths for shine and protection. ⏳ 👉 Tip! Use a diffuser that is designed for curly hair – preferably with a bowl shape where you can gather the curls without blowing them around. #curlyhair #diffuser #strongholdgel #curlgel #naturalcurls #cgm #frizz #curlpattern #hairdryer #curlcream

    FAVORITE styler 🤎

Curly or straight, my hair follows the same rules: 🤎Maximum protection, inside and out. 🤎Low heat damage 🤎A sustainable styling These three things are my commandments! In this styling, I used my favorite styler from silkn and blow-dried my hair with Goddess Biotech Blowout, the most advanced protection we have in a leave-in mask on the market today plus styling memory so my blowout lasts longer! Then I took the opportunity to correct my color by applying a bit of colorwow Violet mousse for a cooler tone on my highlights and a little extra hold. Finally, I finish with the world's best oil from OLAPLEX, it is ALWAYS at home. Don't want to be without it. Does your styling hold? Feel free to comment ❤️ #biotechblowout #blowout #goddess #olaplex #colorwow #lockigthår #silkn #frizz #frissig #fönahåret

    Glaze Milk new Dreamcoat? 🤔

Is it true what people say that Glaze Milk is better than Dreamcoat? 🤔 Let's compare a bit: colorwow Dreamcoat is a styling product with anti-frizz effect and MEGA shine. It almost laminates the hair like a raincoat and keeps the styling in place because it locks out moisture in the air 🤝🏼 @kerastase Glaze Milk is a leave-in spray with more nourishing ingredients while also providing a silky finish without weighing it down. Both are activated by heat & have heat protection. Simply summarized - Dreamcoat = more like a styling spray. Glaze Milk = more like nourishing styling with shine effect. 💎 What do I think? In my opinion, Dreamcoat still suits me best because I really need that extra good protection from locking out moisture, which it is INCREDIBLE at, so it doesn't get frizzy and curly when I finally blow-dry it. It really does the job for me, I love it! Glaze Milk, on the other hand, I think is perfect for you with finer hair strands, you who are not as frizzy or curly and want to focus on care rather than control, but still with a lot of shine. The conditioner in the Gloss Absolu series is INSANELY good! It and the glaze drops moved straight into the best shelf in the bathroom cabinet. Does Dreamcoat suit everyone? No, I think we have other good options just for the finer, less messy hair now. Which one sounds like it suits you best? 🩶🧡 ____________________________________ #dreamcoatvsglazemilk #kerastaseglazemilk #colorwowdtramcoat #dreamcoat #blowout #haircaredupes #frizz #antifrizz #shinyhair
