    LED MASK

I’ve been so lucky to test this LED EMS mask from Silk’n. First impression: Nice packaging, and nice design. Simple – and straightforward! + You get good instructions for use. I’ve used it almost daily for about 6 weeks, and the conclusion is that you definitely see results when you use it consistently. First of all, a bit about my skin: I have combination skin, sensitive and with mild acne. Additionally, it can feel dehydrated and is starting to show signs of fine lines, especially around the eye area. So, the absolute worst combination! I’ve tried most things in skincare, including laser treatments with a dermatologist, so I’m very excited about the results this mask can provide. The mask can be set to different levels, where it is supposed to help with various issues. You’ll find a good detailed explanation, so you can set the mask to the program that suits you. Very easy to use the control to switch between programs. Additionally, you can adjust the intensity levels within the different modes. Big plus! I’ve mostly used Mode 2 and Mode 4. And about 2-3 times a week, I’ve used the EMS function. If the explanation «EMS facial workout, skin pilates, and face yoga combined» isn’t enough of a selling point in itself, I can attest that it’s surprisingly pleasant. You can feel the mask working, and see results in better circulation. Good! Wipe it down with a damp cloth after use; and it’s ready for the next day. I’ve integrated this mask into my daily evening routine, it takes 10 minutes. Feels a bit strange at first, but you quickly get used to it! As the results come, it’s easier to remember. One might think that over 4000 kr is a lot of money for a face mask; BUT, I find that with consistent use over time, the results are on par with laser treatments from a dermatologist, and that is much more expensive. The advantage here is that you have the mask at home and can maintain the good results. I will continue to use it as the finishing touch in my skincare routine, and I recommend giving it a try! Delicious everyday luxury

I have been so lucky to test the EMS mask from Silkn! The mask combines light therapy with small pulses that are supposed to help train specific facial muscles.👏🏻 First of all, the mask comes in luxurious packaging, and the mask is made of soft silicone that attaches with two Velcro straps at the back. The only downside for me is that I partially have to hold the mask a bit in place because it can feel a bit large. It's a very small problem since I usually lie on the couch when I use the mask, but still enough not to give it a full score💓 The mask has 4 different light functions that are supposed to help with, among other things, a more even skin tone, skin healing, collagen stimulation, soothing red skin, and not least spot treatment of acne in the remote control itself. I have primarily used level 1 (reduce wrinkles and fine lines) and 2 (pigmentation, redness) and EMS function/electrical muscle stimulation between 3-7. Here you need to build up a bit of tolerance so that it doesn't hurt with the pulses that the mask gives. I have absolutely seen skin improvements in the form of a more even skin tone and less redness 🌸 If you use the mask daily, I would recommend lying with your eyes closed during the treatment since light therapy can damage the eyes with overuse. In terms of price, I would absolutely say that the mask is worth the money! I love it and use it almost daily 💓🌸 I look forward to seeing further results with Silkn and am super grateful to have been able to test it 🌟 8.5/10 from me 🌸 #lykoinflutester & #silkn

    Expensive but effective

I have tested this mask for just over two months. I have previously had experience with various beauty devices. This LED mask is, however, the first with built-in EMS that I have used. It needs to be charged before the first use, but one charge lasts quite a while, I must say. The mask has four programs. Three of these are in the mask itself: one wellaging to increase elasticity and increased circulation, one for pigmentation, and one to regulate sebum production and reduce deep pigmentation. These can be combined with EMS treatment. In the actual remote control, you can also start blue LED light to reduce acne-related redness. In the manual, there is a schedule for how to systematically introduce the mask to acclimate the skin, which I think is good. I have followed that. Since I do not have acne redness or oily skin, I have mainly focused on programs 1-3 in combination with EMS. The current from EMS is available in different levels from 1-8. I have stuck to the lower levels up to 3 so far. EMS is quite pleasant at these levels and feels like the circulation in the skin has increased directly after use. I have tested level 4, but it is so uncomfortable so far that I have refrained from it. After 60 days of use according to the schedule, I experience a somewhat more even skin tone and more firmness. I have not yet seen greater changes in my pigmentation, but I believe that more continuous use is needed since it took four weeks before it could be used daily, but some of my pigmentation is lighter than before, as can be seen in the before and after picture. Overall, I like the mask, and my results have been good so far. The price is higher, but it can be justified by the fact that the mask has multiple programs and also EMS. Sure, there are some cheaper LED masks on the market, but if you want EMS built-in, another device is needed, and then the total sum becomes similar. Summary + many programs for different needs + structured introduction + can be used for many different needs -price [hashtag] [hashtag]

My 🍓🍓 on my cheeks need more work

A new project that #lykoinflutester is coming here 😄 A very fun project where I got to test the #silkn facial led mask EMS 💥 About me ↙️ I have very sensitive skin. At times I have issues with rosacea, redness, and superficial blood vessels. Cheeks and forehead become dry at times, especially more during the winter. About the product 🍓 In short - An led mask that provides light therapy to your skin and also has an EMS function, (electrical muscle stimulation) The mask has 4 different light modes. It is very clearly stated in the accompanying manual what the different modes are to be used for 🙏🏼 Tip - read the book carefully before use. The mask is used against wrinkles, pigmentation, redness, scars, etc. This mask can help with a lot! Usage 🍓 I started by charging the mask, smooth and easy charging when you only need an adapter at home. Then put on the mask, it fastens easily with Velcro behind the head. Inside the mask, there is silicone, so it is a soft and pleasant feeling to wear the mask. I had to test it out in the beginning before I felt which program suited me well. I experienced that MODE1 (reduce wrinkles, fine lines) became an uncomfortable heat on my rosacea. Maybe because that light is stronger? So I have only tested that program once. What works best for me is MODE2 AND 3 (pigmentation, redness, etc.) And of course the EMS function. Electrical muscle stimulation that helps to stimulate the skin, remove wrinkles, smooth out lines. The EMS function only works on the first three modes. (See my pictures for the different modes) ☺️ Very easy to use, you choose your program and then it starts automatically, and the time counts down from 10 minutes. When 10 minutes have passed, the mask turns off. Very simple and good ☺️ Has it worked? 🍓 I feel a tightness in my skin! I didn't have so many wrinkles before, so I don't have much to compare with, as well as pigmentation. But I feel a tightness in my forehead and around my eyes 😌 My rosacea? 🍓 As you can see in my before and after picture, the rosacea is about the same. I have been a lot in the sun now, my rosacea can flare up from that too. Unfortunately, I can't show any huge differences in pictures of my skin, but I absolutely feel that it works! I will continue to use this and give the mask more time. I have used it here for about 2 months… maybe ☀️ has made it a little worse with my rosacea or it needs to be used longer to really get rid of redness and rosacea. I will continue with my mask 😄

    Everyday Luxury!

I have been testing this for a good while now, and it has become a staple in my skincare routine! I have a sensitive and drier skin type, with rosacea and a few signs of aging. Therefore, I have mostly used mode 1 and 2 plus the EMS function, because what I am most concerned about is a lifting effect and minimizing redness. There haven't been such significant results that it's easy to show in pictures, as the skin also looks different in various lights. But the skin FEELS lifted and more plumped after I started using this! The rosacea has also calmed down quite a bit! I still have periods where it flares up a bit again, but those periods are much rarer than before and last much shorter before the skin is back to normal again. I haven't changed anything in my regular skincare routine, so I can probably thank this mask for that! One thing I really like about this is that it is easy to use, and the programs only take 10 minutes, and then it shuts off by itself. This means that when the mask is working, you can just relax and not think about keeping time. The EMS function can be a bit uncomfortable at first if you're not used to it, but you quickly get used to it. I would recommend starting low and building up intensity over time. The blue light function is a bit less relaxing as you have to use it spot-on and directly on the face yourself. But I don't struggle with blemishes and haven't really needed this function, so for me, it hasn't been a problem. I find it a bit difficult to get an optimal fit with the Velcro straps that come with it. When I use the EMS function, I sometimes have to hold it in place a bit to get an optimal fit, and that is a bit annoying. The Velcro also wears out a bit quickly. But I'm unsure what solution they should have had that would fit most faces anyway; it's not necessarily very simple. The battery lasts very well, it's easy to charge the mask, and after it's fully charged, it lasts a long time! So that's a big plus. The price is quite high, but not much higher than other similar products. So if this is something you feel helps and that you enjoy using, I still think it's worth the money. For my part, I would say it's worth it, as I can actually see a result and can view it as an investment. The only thing that brings it down from a top score is that I find it a bit difficult to get an optimal fit. Otherwise, I'm shiningly satisfied! [hashtag] [hashtag]

    Visible results in 2 months!

I have used this mask regularly for two months, and I can honestly say that I noticed results after just 2-3 treatments! My skin is slightly acne-prone with many red small spots & some scars. As a 30+ year old, I have also started to see some visible lines in my face, especially around the eyes & lips. I have normal/oily skin, but always more on the oily side and never dry in the face. I have only used level 2, it felt completely optimal for the type of skin I have! I followed the recommendations to the letter on how often the mask should be used. I varied the EMS between 5-7 in intensity. The first clear result that came immediately was that I became “drier” in my skin (to a normal level), the oiliness disappeared almost completely. So in just a few uses, my skin stabilized in an incredible way! I also haven’t had any real acne outbreaks during these two months. Only a few small pimples have appeared, and we’re talking about minis that came during the nights (maybe because it’s 100 degrees in my bedroom). ▪️ I see clear and significant differences in my face in the before/after pictures. Both in how much calmer and smoother my skin is as well as reduced fine lines. It cannot be denied that it has done its job brilliantly! ▪️ I haven’t had oily skin again during these two months, but since the first week it has been gone and completely stable. Which has made me actually rethink my skincare and makeup since there is such a difference! The mask fits well on the head, and I love that the cord is long enough that you can have it in your pants pocket if you want to do something in the meantime! What brings down the rating for this is: - There is no explanation at all on how the blue light works and how to use it. Should you hold it directly on the skin? At the same spot for 10 minutes? Many questions but no answers. - For a product costing 4000kr, I think there should be some sort of storage bag included. I store mine in the box it came in, but I travel a lot for work, so I can’t take it with me. Also, it becomes cumbersome and takes up a lot of space to have it in the box at home. No, they could have thought this through a bit more! - It’s a bit difficult to get it to sit perfectly on the face, so when you turn on EMS, you can notice that it “jolts” at different intensities, just because it doesn’t sit quite right. Even though I always try to adjust, it’s hard to get it right. So something with the fit of the mask is unfortunately not quite perfect! Other than those three points, I am incredibly satisfied! I have already recommended this to many friends! #lykoinflutester #silkn

You are so many who write so incredibly positively about this and show such beautiful results 🥰🤗 Very nice and well-written review! Now this is on my wishlist until I find money somewhere. Is there a millionaire who feels they have too much and wants to donate to a poor teacher maybe? 😇 Or maybe I've watched too much Disney and need to take my head out of the clouds and save instead ☺️ Either way, it will be purchased one way or another 😍😍

LOVE EMS, but not in this..

I was so lucky to receive this LED face mask from Silk’n to test it out as #LYKOINFLUTESTER 🤍 I am 34 years old, have normal to dry skin. Naturally pale and get freckles easily, but rarely sun my face (to avoid wrinkles) so my freckles look more like uneven skin. Can be a bit sensitive at times, especially if products contain a lot of perfume. I have some smile lines around my eyes, and a small one by my mouth. And get some hormonal pimples/bumps now and then. But otherwise no major challenges with my skin. But I am generally very focused on taking care of my skin, especially on my face so that I can avoid problems as 🥹😇 If there’s something I am VERY interested in, it’s facial tools that can do treatments that you would normally have to spend thousands on in a salon each month - at home! In the last few years, I have used several different EMS tools, so I was very, very happy when I received this LED mask in the mail to test out for 2 months 😍👏🏻 💡 4 DIFFERENT MODES: ▪️MODE 1: Reduction of fine lines and wrinkles, lifting effect by energizing the facial muscles. ▪️ MODE 2: Reduction of fine lines and wrinkles, pigmentation (both deep and surface), redness, and uneven skin tone. ▪️ MODE 3: Reduction of fine lines and wrinkles, deep pigmentation spots, and redness. ▪️ MODE 4: Precise and targeted treatment of acne-related redness and inflammation of the skin. ➕ EMS (Electrical Muscle Stimulation) Level 1-8. I have now used the mask almost every single day for 2 months. I use it on completely clean and dry skin, but I like to spray a hypochlorous acid spray over the skin to disinfect it before use. I have mostly used Mode 1 and 4, along with EMS 1-3 times a week at level 8. Note: My skin is well accustomed to EMS from before, so I started directly at level 8. Normally, you start low at first and work your way up each week. The mask is soft and comfortable to wear, and easy to clean. But I think the Velcro straps are useless, especially the bottom one. I don’t quite understand why it isn’t like the top one?! I think the mask itself fits my face nicely, but it feels a bit heavy on the face, almost like it pulls the skin down a bit when you have it on - which is almost a bit counterproductive 😳 ⚡️EMS function: Basically, I love electrical muscle stimulation, and have used it a lot in the last few years with good effect. But with devices that you self-treat in the face - where you need it the most. So I was very excited to be able to do EMS hands-free, without having to hold a device to do it and at the same time be able to do other things while the face works. Meeeen, I don’t think this EMS function will replace my regular companion from Medicube. The EMS points in the mask are not evenly placed on each side of the face (because no one is perfectly symmetrical!) especially around the eyes. Which means that I have to sit and hold the mask straight to get even treatment around the eyes - even though it’s hands-free.. Additionally, there are large areas in the mask that do not have LED light, because the EMS points take up large parts of the mask. Something I think is a bit silly, as parts of the face do not get light on them. I also think the marks you get on your face from the EMS points are a noticeable disadvantage of the mask. Especially if I use it in the morning and have to go out right after - then my face is full of marks from the mask. Even though I haven’t used the EMS function. The EMS points also mean that the mask doesn’t sit completely snug against the face, which makes it very humid and clammy inside the mask after just a few minutes, as the air you breathe out comes into the mask due to the narrow hole for the mouth. The conclusion is that the concept is nice, but I think I would have preferred an LED mask without EMS over this one. After these 2 months, I can’t really see a very big difference in my skin. I haven’t used my Medicube or other strong acids for 2 months now, just this LED mask. And I think my face looks a bit more “puffy”, as I haven’t been able to use my usual EMS tool that you can also use on the neck and jaw. Something this mask doesn’t do. My few, fine lines are actually just the same as they were before. Didn’t have much pigmentation to begin with, so I see no difference there either. BUT my skin looks more even and doesn’t look as dull at the moment. And it seems like my skin is tighter, as my pores have become less visible. So I would believe this does a good job for the skin, which I otherwise wouldn’t have gotten without this. ❤️ Easy to use/understand ❤️ Good battery life ❤️ It has a timer and turns off after 10 minutes ❤️ No downtime/sore skin after use ❤️ Perfect to take on trips ❤️ Made my skin more even and glowy in 2 months ❤️ Convenient to use while doing housework/cooking. 👎🏻 I wish the blue LED light was in the mask, not on the remote. I want to use it hands-free. 👎🏻 I wish it didn’t have EMS. 👎🏻 The Velcro is not good 👎🏻 Feels heavy on the face 👎🏻 The marks it leaves on the face after use 👎🏻 Not much difference in my fine lines after 2 months I will continue to use it going forward, but only the LED lights. So I will continue with my Medicube for EMS. And continue to wish for an LED mask with only LED lights. Because I love the lovely spa feeling of being able to do such treatments at home, especially while I can do other things at the same time - or just lie on the couch and relax. And my skin has absolutely not gotten worse, so I absolutely believe this can help prevent future lines, pigmentation, and signs of aging if I just keep using it. I definitely wouldn’t want to be without it in my skincare routine. And I am very excited to see if I will see results after 2 more months! I don’t give 3 stars because the mask is bad, because it is absolutely not bad! There are just some things I would change to give it more stars 😇🤍 #SILKN

Interesting mask with potential, but my skin probably needs more time with this ✨

First impression 🤩 When I first received the Silk’n LED EMS Face Mask, I was both curious and a bit skeptical. The concept of LED and EMS technology seemed exciting, but the mask itself felt a bit scary and unfamiliar at first. Experience with the mask ☀️ The mask has now been in use for several weeks, and I have been consistent with its use. It is easy to use and feels comfortable along the way, but it takes a little time to get used to the feeling of the EMS pulses. It gives a feeling of doing something active for the skin, and I like that it is a non-invasive treatment that can be done from home. The only thing I have experienced as a small challenge is that the mask feels a bit small in fit. It doesn’t cover the entire face as well as I would like, and that means I have to «adjust» it a bit for it to sit well. The bottom Velcro doesn’t sit very well. It’s not a big problem, but worth being aware of. I haven’t seen any drastic changes in my skin so far, but it feels like a product that can yield results over time. If possible, I may have gotten a bit more hint of «Glow». My skin 💆🏼‍♀️ I have oily, but somewhat sensitive skin. I have some redness in my skin and fine lines, but otherwise a relatively even skin tone. Previous experience suggests that my skin often takes a bit longer than «normal» for results to show, and that may also be the case here. Results 🧖🏼‍♀️ So far, I haven’t noticed any major changes in my skin. It feels maybe a bit more even and calmer after use, but no noticeable changes in redness or lines yet. It feels like a product with potential, but for my skin type, it may require a bit more patience to see results. ✅ Pros: ✨ Easy to use and integrate into skincare routine. ✨ Comfortable after a few uses, you get used to the mask. ✨ Gives a feeling of doing something extra for the skin. ✨ Gentle on my sensitive skin, no irritation or pain experienced. Something that feels very positive for me. ✨ Feels soothing and a bit evening after use. ✨ Good battery life ✨ Several modes and strengths to choose from, which feels safe, and you can adjust up as you become comfortable with the mask ✨ Only takes 10 minutes with each use ❌ Cons: ➖ A bit small in size, doesn’t cover my face completely optimally (I have a slightly elongated face, would have liked half a cm more both up and down). ➖ Feels a bit scary to use the first few times. ➖ Hasn’t given very noticeable results so far. Probably requires a bit more patience, especially for skin types that respond slowly (as I experience mine does). My conclusion 🙋🏼‍♀️ This is an innovative and exciting product that gives a feeling of exclusive home treatment. It is easy to use and provides a positive experience, even though it hasn’t given me significant results yet. Due to the fit and the lack of visible results so far, I give it three stars. I will continue to use it to see if more happens after a longer period 🤞🏼🤩 #LYKOINFLUTESTER #SILKN

    Perfect for you with pigmentation!

I got, as a Lyko Influtester, the TOTALLY fantastic opportunity to test this LED mask from Silk’n. A magical mission! Thank you! 🫶🏻 My skin is quite uncomplicated today, but I have had my fair share of problem skin when I was younger. So a few small traces of that are probably still left. I also feel that my skin has started to feel a bit saggy (😂) and shiny, so I was most excited to see if the mask could help on that front, and maybe reduce some small signs of aging that have started to show up… In addition, I have, during the summers, a larger skin pigmentation on my forehead from careless sunbathing in my younger days. (Wow, that sounds like I’m 100. I’m not. I’m 34). The pigmentation doesn’t really bother me, but I was a bit curious to see if the mask could reduce it. It became something a bit more concrete to test. I have tested the mask for two months, and after getting used to it according to the instructions, I have used it daily (the EMS function should not be used more than max 3 times/week). The mask has four different settings, and I have mainly used setting 1 (focus on fine lines and wrinkles as well as lifting effect) and setting 2 (focus on pigmentation, redness, and uneven skin tone). The first two to three times feel a bit unusual maybe - no pain or discomfort, just unusual. But now I think it’s incredibly nice and relaxing to use. Almost like I’m falling asleep, actually 😄 With the EMS function on, it feels like a little facial massage. Perfect end to the day! And the result? ⭐️ - The pigmentation on my forehead has decreased significantly, it’s actually almost gone. See upper before and after picture. - I see no significant difference regarding my existing fine lines on my forehead. However, it could be that the mask prevents the emergence of new ones. - My skin looks firmer and more radiant, and some small blemishes have decreased (see lower before and after picture - but unfortunately, I don’t think it shows as well in the pictures as in reality). The only negative thing I have to say about the mask is the Velcro straps. I can’t quite get the lower strap right every time. It sits too far down to be able to tighten as tightly as the upper strap. This leads to the mask sitting a bit unevenly, and not sitting properly everywhere, without me having to press a little myself with my hands. At least if I’m sitting/standing up, lying down it works fine. A minor detail really, but it’s still about 3995kr so worth mentioning. It gets a high rating from me as I believe it delivers what it promises. I had high expectations and I think it lives up to them! Can absolutely recommend it, especially for you who struggle with pigmentation and/or uneven skin tone. #silkn #influtester #lykoinflutester

🔬 7 weeks. No serum. No acids. ONLY this mask. Here are the results!

There are two places I happily leave 💸 – and that’s on serum and skincare tools. They are simply the two things that (from my experience) give the most visible results. So when I got this in the mail, I was as happy as a child choosing their own candy 😂. To give this LED mask a fair test, I put ALL ACTIVE products (retinol, bha, aha, etc.) and other tools on PAUSE FOR 7 WEEKS. No serum, no acids, no aids. Just me and the mask – so I could see what it could actually do on its own. 🤝 So, how did it go? Did it live up to expectations? Both yes and no. The technology itself delivered – I actually saw a VISIBLE DIFFERENCE in my skin after 7 weeks, and that even WITHOUT using serum or acids during that time. But I wish the fit of the mask was better – the EMS effect wasn’t quite optimal since the mask DIDN’T sit as snugly on each side of the face. I had to hold it in place myself. That takes away a bit from the point of the “handsfree” part. Maybe there’s a way to get it to fit better? And the BLUE LIGHT for acne treatment. It has to be held manually with a separate remote control, which isn’t very practical either. 🤷 I would rather have it integrated into the mask and reduce the different LED programs since I read that mode 2 pretty much does everything I want and more. Do you really need modes 1 and 3? 😅 Another thing that could be more user-friendly is the remote control. It would have been much easier with controls directly on the mask, but now I’m being picky here 😂😇. So onto the more positive aspects! 🕺🏼 Even though it may not sit perfectly, it actually sits MUCH BETTER than e.g. the Dr. Dennis Gross mask! And that’s a big plus for me. 😄 Velcro for the win! I LOVE that it has both LED and EMS in one! That’s quite innovative and time-saving ⏰. The fact that the treatment ONLY TAKES 10 MINUTES is a huge plus! As a new mom, I have minimal time for myself, and I also can’t use strong anti-aging products like retinol while I’m breastfeeding, so this felt like a good alternative. 😍 🔋 There’s a GOOD BATTERY LIFE once you’ve charged the mask, which means many uses before it needs to be charged again. Another plus of the mask is that you can choose what level you want for EMS, because if you start too high too soon, you will experience small “jolts” on the skin, and that’s not very pleasant. 😄 I started at level 3 and worked my way up to level 8 over 7 weeks. So onto the most exciting part 🥁 THE RESULT: After 7 weeks of testing, I can see a clear difference in the BEFORE AND AFTER PICTURE. 📸 My skin looks and feels firmer, more radiant, and more even in tone. 👶 This is definitely a mask I will use regularly for a little me time and a pick me 🆙 after a long night with the baby. 😅 #lykoinflutester #silkn

    Feels like a spa treatment

I have been using the Silk’n Facial LED Mask EMS for about two months now, and I am very satisfied with the results so far. What I have primarily noticed is that my acne scars have started to even out – not dramatically, but enough for me to see an improvement. I have faith that with continued use, the results will get even better over time. What I like best about the mask is the EMS function. It provides a lovely, relaxing massage that feels both refreshing and soothing after a long day. It makes me actually look forward to using the mask, which makes it easier to maintain a consistent routine. The design is also comfortable and easy to use, and I appreciate that it combines multiple technologies in one product – both LED light and EMS. It feels like a little at-home spa treatment every time. The only reason I’m not giving it full marks is that it takes a bit of time to see noticeable results, but that is to be expected with this type of skincare. All in all, I am very satisfied and would absolutely recommend it to others who want to work on skin texture and scars over time. [hashtag] [hashtag]

    Oh my God, so good!

I got to test this amazing product! Thank you, sweet🙌🏼 My skin: combination skin with a tendency to redness on the cheeks. I have no problems with pimples, but I have pores around my nose. I do not have sensitive skin. I have used the mask for 9 weeks. I started according to the manual using the mask every third day in the first week (10 min), then every other day for two weeks (10 min), and finally (after the third week) every day (10-20 min). I have tested all modes except F4 (LED blue) since I do not have acne-related redness. The different modes I have used: F1: reduces fine lines and wrinkles, rebuilds collagen and elastin fibers, firmer and tighter skin. F2: reduces pigmentation and redness, soothes the skin. F3: regulates sebum production and reduces redness. EMS (electrical muscle stimulation): improves blood circulation and increases collagen production. The mask is very easy to use, there are clear instructions in the manual which has made everything super easy! Regarding the EMS mode, I have added the function a maximum of three times a week (10 min). There are eight modes, and I have used up to mode five. For me, it will take more than nine weeks to get used to and use the highest. It felt a bit uncomfortable at first, but now it feels completely okay and nice! My routine has looked like this (when I do 20 minutes) Step 1: Wash face beforehand (I do double cleansing) Step 2: Put on the mask and choose which mode. For example, mode F1 with EMS function (10 minutes). After 10 minutes, I choose another mode, for example, mode F3 (10 min) without EMS Step 3: Take off the mask, I have used facial oil after use or some other gentle face cream. What has the mask contributed? 🌸 I experience less redness over my cheeks. I still have pores around my nose BUT they are smaller! 🌸 My skin has gotten a whole new glow and I feel that my skin feels firmer! 🌸 The mask has contributed to a calm moment in the day, it feels luxurious to have a little facial treatment at home! 🌸 Reduced lines under the eyes! 🌸 I feel more hydrated! Finally, I really want to advocate for the mask! It is incredibly easy to use, you can turn on a series or listen to something and just enjoy while the mask works! It really is like a facial treatment but AT HOME! Incredible!!🙌🏼 The price is high, but in my opinion, it is worth it since I do not need to go and get treatments elsewhere which can become even more expensive in the long run. I would have bought the mask even if I had not had the honor of testing it❤️ Thank you, sweet, for letting me test the mask❤️ #lykoinflutester #silkn

    Salon Skincare at Home

I have now tested this LED mask for a few weeks, and I think it’s a very exciting product! This gives me the feeling of having been to a skincare specialist in a salon - but at a fraction of the price if you use the mask over a longer period. I especially like the EMS function, as it makes the skin feel firmer. Otherwise, I notice that my skin has become smoother and more even, and it feels more youthful. I’m only 27 years old, but you can tell that the skin isn’t the same as it was 10 years ago - so I find this type of technology that helps restore a more youthful skin and glow very interesting. I have used it 3 times a week for almost two months, and I will continue with this! Practically, I notice that the mask may not fit optimally to my face, as I have to “hold it a bit in place” and lie on the couch/bed for all the points to be in contact with the skin. This is of course a personal experience of a one-size product, so it’s obvious that it can’t fit perfectly for everyone. Still, I absolutely think it works as it should as long as I lie down when I have it on! [hashtag] [hashtag]

I’m probably not the target group

I have to be honest and say that I was mega skeptical about this product. very expensive and promises a lot that I don’t think will be measurable on my skin. I don’t have fine lines and a relatively even skin with some blemishes here and there. I used program 2 & 3 which are supposed to help with a more even skin tone and less redness, as well as regulate oil production in the skin. Very strange and unfamiliar to wear at first and difficult to use with glasses, so it limits what you can do while using it🤓 On first use, the EMS mode was very scary, I felt it really tingling in my cheeks on the lowest setting, and my lips were vibrating uncontrollably. I also felt a slight tingling in some areas. It varies a lot from time to time how strongly I felt it, unsure of the cause. I really like that it automatically runs for 10 minutes so you don’t have to think about it. I have to be honest and say that I completely fell off with this, I am not the target group for this product and I noticed no difference after a few weeks of use and my motivation also slowly faded. So if you have young and relatively even skin, you might also be able to skip this product since it is also dyyyrt. #LYKOINFLUTESTER #SILKN

    Visible Results💆‍♀️

Before using it, I read experiences online and watched TikTok videos about this Silk’n Facial LED Mask device. Many praised its effectiveness and ease of use, and I decided to try it too – and I haven’t regretted it for a moment. I am 35 years old, and my skin is combination, which is sometimes also a bit dry. I am looking for products that provide visible results without complicated routines. This device has offered just that – salon-quality skincare at home. The device is extremely easy to use, lightweight, and fits well on the face. The battery life is really good – after several uses, you don’t have to constantly recharge. Cleaning is quick and effortless, so using the device is smooth even in a busy daily life. I used the device always after cleansing my skin in the evenings, usually 3-4 times a week. I used Mode 1 the most, which felt just right for my skin, but I also tested the other modes. The EMS function felt strange at first, but I quickly got used to it, and it soon became my favorite. Especially on the jawline and cheeks, the effect was noticeable. The LED light calmed the skin and added a relaxing atmosphere to the treatment – I recommend closing your eyes and enjoying it. I especially recommend using the device in the evenings, as the skin may be a bit red after the EMS function. For me, the redness always disappeared quickly and did not cause any irritation. After about two months of regular use, I can say that my skin has clearly improved: it looks brighter, more even, and firmer. Makeup applies more beautifully, and the skin looks more rested even without makeup. My friends have noticed the difference and praised my more radiant appearance – I have already recommended the device to others. This device has positively surprised me. It truly offers a high-quality, salon-level experience for home use, and the visible results motivate me to continue using it regularly. Excellent choice if you want to invest in your skin without visiting a beauty salon.😘🤩 #lykoinflutester #silkn

Am I dreaming? Don’t wake me up! 💖✨

As a #lykoinflutester, I received this LED/EMS mask from #silkn. Those of you who have been following me here on LYKO for a while know that I have issues with hypopigmentation (pigment-free acne scars) combined with melasma (brown/gray skin areas). It feels like I have tried every product that claims to help with pigmentation, but nothing has worked. The only thing I haven’t tried is light therapy. I have used this in combination with a tailored cream from Dermatica, antioxidants in the form of skinceuticals ce ferulic, and SPF50. I have used the mask every day for 6 weeks. A Gamechanger 🎯 This LED mask from Silkn also has built-in EMS that trains your facial muscles to counteract wrinkles and sagging. I have previously tried both Foreo UFO and Foreo bear, which have similar functions. Silkn’s mask is a gamechanger because it does the work for you, so you don’t have to use your hands. EMS ⚡️ The EMS function has 10 different levels, there is plenty of room to work my way up. I use EMS 3 times a week so that the muscles have enough time to recover. The only thing that has been uncomfortable is when you feel the current going through your teeth. Material and function 😍 The Silkn mask is made of soft silicone and is secured with Velcro around the head. It is clear that the mask primarily focuses on pigmentation as it has red/yellow and near-infrared light. I absolutely LOVE that Silkn, so we don’t miss out on the blue light, has built it into the little control box that comes with it. Perfect for spot treatment of acne. Different light types 🚦 * Red light (633nm) ❤️ – collagen stimulation and healing * Amber (605nm) 🧡 – soothes, evens skin tone, pigment focus * Near-infrared ❤️ (830nm/1072nm) – deeper healing, cell energy * Blue light (405nm) 🩵 – spot treatment for inflammation and acne, integrated into the box Pricing 💸💸💸 It’s an expensive mask I would never have invested in myself without knowing it works. In hindsight, I can only conclude that it is ridiculously worth the price compared to all the skincare and treatments I have spent money on to improve my pigmentation. 💫 Result: Melasma fades away I have used the mask in combination with a pigmentation cream and the antioxidant CE-ferulic. The results speak for themselves - absolutely insane! I started with noticeable melasma on my forehead and at the temples/under the eyebrows – and now those spots are practically gone. The largest spot next to my eye has completely disappeared. My entire forehead is noticeably lighter and more even in tone. Thank you so much for this assignment 🥰

    FAVORITE styler 🤎

Curly or straight, my hair follows the same rules: 🤎Maximum protection, inside and out. 🤎Low heat damage 🤎A sustainable styling These three things are my commandments! In this styling, I used my favorite styler from silkn and blow-dried my hair with Goddess Biotech Blowout, the most advanced protection we have in a leave-in mask on the market today plus styling memory so my blowout lasts longer! Then I took the opportunity to correct my color by applying a bit of colorwow Violet mousse for a cooler tone on my highlights and a little extra hold. Finally, I finish with the world's best oil from OLAPLEX, it is ALWAYS at home. Don't want to be without it. Does your styling hold? Feel free to comment ❤️ #biotechblowout #blowout #goddess #olaplex #colorwow #lockigthår #silkn #frizz #frissig #fönahåret

    Pretty okay LED mask🎭

As a #lykoinflutester, I got to test the Facial LED Mask EMS from #silkn👹 This is a mask that combines LED therapy & EMS/microcurrent in one mask. It is made of flexible silicone with 2 Velcro straps to secure it around the face/neck... It charges with USB-C and the batteries might last for about 1 hour of treatment🔋 First, a few comments on the actual quality of the hardware... 🔨 I have a mask from before called CurrentBody Skin LED 4-in-1 Zone Facial, so I will use it as a little comparison. It has a much better grip and the quality of the Velcro feels much higher. This should be noted that it is a mask that costs 5999 kr, not 3995 kr like this one. Even after the first use, the Velcro starts to break😬 I am picky here because of the price, it is still an expensive product! 🤑 The mask from Silkn feels cheaper as the Velcro pulls in my hair, is narrow, and sits in such a place that I have to pull it around my neck😬 However, it stays well in place and is nice to wear! 👍 The remote is much lighter in Silkn than Currentbody's, which feels cheaper BUT also makes it easy: you can have it in your bra or in the waistband if you don't have pockets in your clothes. Silkn's mask also has a timer that counts down so you can see exactly how much time is left on your treatment👌 A big minus though because this is a combo mask that has lots of metal conductors in the mask, for the EMS function (think LED and Foreo 🐻 in one) there are no lights in those areas. So around the eyes and on the cheeks, it is instead focused on EMS and no lights 😶🤔 So there it gets a minus compared to a mask that only has LED. But I like the idea of having a mask with both to reduce treatment time if you want both. I haven't tested the EMS function as much as the actual LED lights since I have other EMS devices at home that I use regularly, so this function wouldn't have given me any results. ➖ ⚠️And for all the metal parts that were furthest in, never touched my skin unless I held the mask against my face, so the function didn't work 🙄 So I didn't get the maximum out of that function plus I think you need to have a movement of an EMS device plus a gel for the best contact 🔌 It has 3 different "programs" with different wavelengths that are all 10 minutes long & should focus on slightly different issues. The different wavelengths/"colors": - Red (633nm) + Dark Red (660nm) + Near-Infrared (830nm) + Deep Near-Infrared (1072nm) + Amber (605nm) and Blue (405nm): The blue LED lamp is integrated into the remote control. This has 243 LED lamps while my other mask has 360 from Currentbody... ➕But these have the same wavelength on their "red" wavelengths, which are the ones that also have the most research on them that should give the best results! So that is a big plus! ➕ And that research shows that combining red and NIR is best, and you can do that with this👍 💎But, my other one also has blue light, which is the reason I bought it because I have acne! Silkn has chosen to have its blue light in the remote, so if you want to use it, you have to sit for 10 minutes with it on the area you want to treat, which I don't find convenient. 📢📚A little more description about the wavelengths I found: One reason red and NIR are so frequently used in high quality LED devices is because they are within the “optical window” of ideal photobiomodulation (this is sometimes referred to as the “tissue window”). That window is said to be between 610 and 860 (Karu & Kolyakov, 2005). More recently, some other researchers argue the optical window extends up to 1100 nm (Lima et al., 2020). This optical window offers the best penetration of light. So for the most part, you want to look for red (typically 633nm, but somewhere between 630-660nm) and NIR (look for 820-840nm, with 830nm being the gold standard) as those wavelengths have the most evidence to support them. In studies that compared red wavelengths alone compared to red plus NIR, the red plus NIR had the best results across a range of outcomes related to photoaging. ❗My results:❗ I have experienced that during this period my acne has gotten much better! BUT I cannot rule out that this has to do with my skincare routine, diet, or something else instead of the mask. I have used this about 20 times 3 times a week but cannot say that I have noticed anything else special with my skin, but I also know that it takes time AND that I have already used my other mask before... ➖ Minus it gets compared to my other mask, and I am currently using Silkn's program 2 first and then have my other one for the blue wavelength🤣 In short! 😄😉 This is a good mask to buy if you want and can afford to test LED therapy, at a good price that will give you results if you use it at least 4 times a week for 10 minutes, I would say. There is no research that says you can use LED too much, and I usually use it more than 10 minutes BUT it is not recommended by Silkn. Expect that results take time though! And if you have rosacea, be careful as NIR light can trigger this. Also, such masks do not work magic! Instead, use sunscreen and other skincare to get the best results.
