Hard to see effect
I have now tried the Silk’n LED Face Mask 100 for a month, and have used it as recommended for best effect. I have therefore used it like this: - First week every 3 days for 10 minutes, red and blue light. - Second week every other day for 10 minutes, red and blue light. - Third week every other day for 15 minutes, automatic program. - Fourth week every or every other day for 15 minutes, automatic program. The mask is very flexible to use, as you can easily move freely and keep your eyes open during the treatment. The mask has protection around the eyes, which blocks out most of the light around the eyes. The mask is also soft and flexible, so it can be adjusted as you wish. Unfortunately, it is a bit too long for my face, so it is difficult to get it to fit perfectly on the eyes and mouth. I have combination and sensitive skin, with signs of acne and redness. I also struggle with some oil in the T-zone, and dehydrated skin on the cheeks. Otherwise, I have signs of fine lines on my forehead, between my eyebrows, around my eyes, and "smile lines". I hoped that the mask would improve some of these issues. As you can see in the pictures, it is not so easy to see the difference before and after a month of using the mask. I think my skin has become somewhat calmer, as it is less red and sore/warm than before. The fine lines have also become somewhat less visible. Unfortunately, I am experiencing quite a few more breakouts now than before I started using the mask. This could of course be completely coincidental, as I struggle a lot with hormonal acne. I find it a bit difficult to evaluate the effect of the mask, but I like to believe that it has a good long-term effect. Overall, I would say that it is a very simple step to potentially improve skin health, but whether it has a visible effect on me is probably a bit difficult to say now. Even though I cannot see a significant effect of the mask on my skin, it will fortunately ensure that the skincare products applied afterwards have better efficacy and penetrate better into the skin. I would therefore conclude that the mask probably works better on skin with other issues than mine, but I am hoping that it works very well as a preventive measure. #lykoinflutester #silkn

I have been using the Silk’n LED Face Mask 100 for a while now, and even though it’s too early to say anything certain about the effects, I feel that my skin has gotten a nicer glow with more radiance 💫 The mask is comfortable to wear and the material is soft silicone. It fits well with straps behind the head. This allows you to move around a bit while using it, making it easy and manageable 🌸 I chose to use it in automatic mode a couple of times a week, about 10-15 minutes per session as recommended by the manufacturer. I have been curious about LED masks ever since a friend tried to get me to test a model last year. At that time, I didn’t let myself be persuaded, but now I have been able to try the Silk’n LED Face Mask 100 for several weeks. I have always been a bit skeptical about using light and heat directly on my skin at home, so I read the instructions carefully. The manual clearly explains how to use the mask, and I gradually increased the time in line with the recommendations 🌟 It is very convenient that you can choose either the auto function or manually select the four different lights/functions. The different lights have different purposes, and this is well explained in the manual – the mask is generally very user-friendly 💗 My skin gets a bit warm and red after use. This calms down quickly, and you get used to it, but at first, it was a bit uncomfortable. The biggest downside for me is that I don’t like masks that fit tightly around the eyes – I get a bit of a claustrophobic feeling for some reason. Therefore, I think the eye area of the mask is a small downside 👀 Otherwise, the mask is made of soft silicone, which is comfortable, and the mask is relatively easy to secure with Velcro straps. The product definitely gives a luxury feel and is perfect for home spa. When it comes to visible results, I am more unsure. I don’t have major skin challenges beforehand, apart from a few visible pores in the T-zone and some dryness. I can’t say that I have seen very visible improvements in my skin, hence three stars. User-friendly and comfortable but...
... in four weeks nothing exciting has happened with my skin 🙂 I have been testing this mask for four weeks now, and here comes my evaluation of the product so far. I write "so far" because such products need longer than 4 weeks to have a proper effect, so I will update in a few months. Anyway, the mask comes in a box and with an instruction manual. It charges with a USB cable but does not need to be "plugged into the wall" when you use it. You control the lighting from a device that is attached to a cord in the mask, and you can keep it in the pocket of your robe while you walk around and use it at home. There are four straps that you connect: two over the head and two behind the head, very simple! I think the fit is surprisingly good on the face. And it is easy to adjust. I have only used the manual function and have exclusively run with red light. There is red, blue, yellow, and purple light, all of which help the skin with different "problems", and these are clearly indicated in the instruction manual. It also states how to choose the setting for the skin at the mask, and there are different schedules for the first four weeks. The manual function runs for 10 minutes on your chosen color, and the automatic function runs all four colors at different intervals for a total of 15 minutes. I have strictly followed the schedule and have not had any reactions other than a little redness for a while after the first uses. However, I have unfortunately not had any direct POSITIVE reactions or changes either, as the skin has been about the same as usual. Everyday luxury when it’s at its best
If there’s something I love, it’s everyday luxury, and if there’s something I love even more, it’s everything that makes the skin its best self 🤭 here we have a mask that really gives the feeling of both. I’ve been using this about 5 days a week, 10-15 minutes at a time, for about a month. I have quite sensitive skin; otherwise, I would have probably listened to the recommendations about time and how often 😅 I’ve mainly focused on blue light because I’ve had quite troublesome skin with large pores and pimples that pop up now and then. Sometimes I’ve finished with the red light to boost collagen and get a glow. I’m going to experiment a bit more with the other lights going forward too! The only downside I have to mention is the fit. It’s not super comfortable around the eyes. I get marks and feel that it can be uncomfortable when it’s on. But the positive is that it stays in place, so there are no problems washing dishes, cleaning, or just watching Netflix with it on 😍 Now that the price is so good, I really think you should go for it 🙌 but I think it’s worth the price even without a sale 😍 I’m not posting any before and after pictures because I’ve had a treatment for acne scars during the testing period, so it wouldn’t be fair to compare. After a few weeks of use, I've noticed a clear improvement in my skin! Incredibly soft, and my skin tone has become more even, I feel like my pores have gotten smaller (but that could just be wishful thinking 😂) I do think, however, that you need to use the mask for a longer time to see even more noticeable results! The mask is easy to use and made of a soft, flexible silicone material that feels relatively comfortable against the skin and is easy to clean. The little control is also really handy – small enough to fit in your pocket, which allows you to continue doing other things at the same time without any issues. The only downside is the fastening around the head. It doesn't sit perfectly and requires a bit of adjustment, but I don't feel that it affects the actual effect – just the comfort. And that the edge around the eyes feels a bit tight when you fasten it. In summary: a user-friendly and effective LED mask with a few design flaws, but with results that make it worth the time. I have tested the Silk’n LED Face Mask 100 for a couple of weeks, and I must say that I am positively surprised. I would say that I have been quite skeptical about such at-home light treatments, but I actually feel like I have seen a difference in my skin after a short period! This feels like a professional LED light treatment in a convenient at-home kit, with results that start to show over a short time. I have done some research and found that the mask works with four different light colors: red, blue, yellow, and purple, all targeting different skin issues. I have combination skin and have super acne-prone skin but many old marks from acne, I often experience uneven skin tone and clogged pores, so I have primarily used the blue, purple, and red light. After just a couple of weeks of regular use, my skin feels clearer, calmer, and more even in tone. The red light is supposed to stimulate collagen production and give a firmer feel, while the blue reduces breakouts and impurities, the purple is supposed to help reduce acne and bacteria. I believe all of these have helped my skin a lot. I also appreciate that the mask has an automatic mode that switches between the colors, perfect when you want a complete treatment without thinking about the settings or when you don’t really know what settings you want (as I felt in the beginning). SO fun to have gotten to test this, I love that you can blow dry, curl, and straighten with the same styling tool! For starters, it’s incredibly beautiful, it feels solid and luxurious, and I love the box it comes in! It’s definitely heavy, so not something you carry around, but a very big bonus that you get a good first impression when you open the package💕 I’ve been wanting an air-wrap for a long time, and I’m so impressed! It feels much gentler on the hair and is relatively easy to work with once you’ve learned the technique😅 I have long and thick hair, and it was no problem for me to take larger sections! The storage bag that comes with it is very nice - however, it weighs quite a bit, so it can’t be taken in the travel bag, but you simply have to take the hair dryer with all the accessories separately out of the bag. The hair dryer’s accessories, appearance, color (I got a pink one 😍) and the long cord are incredibly good. First, a little about my hair: Nordic, thin, flat; color-treated, hair loss & frizzy. Starting with the packaging: WOW 🩷 It screams luxury and is super practical, and you have space for other hair products in addition to the parts that come with it - with all its pockets ❕ It feels stylish and is nice to have standing out 🩷 The actual styling tool is also beautiful and so practical with all its functions: hair dryer (can turn the tool 90 degrees), curls (right and left attachments), volume & straight hair! You can really style your hair in many ways in no time! With this, hair is NOT exposed to heat damage, as it regulates the temperature if it gets too high with its technology. You can choose between 4 temperature settings and 3 speeds. Additionally, there’s a cool shot function, lock function, memory function, and internal cleaning function. The cord is also long and swivel, which simplifies the process, a big plus ❕ In the box, there are 5 different attachments that you can use while styling 🩷 It feels very user-friendly, BUT be careful when touching the attachments during use as they get very hot. I’m still figuring it out and find that it gets easier each time. When using autowrap, it’s very easy to get the hair on, something I remember struggling with on the Dyson at first. Here you have to remember to use the right attachment in relation to the side of the face you want the curls to lay on. In pictures/videos, I do a simple blowout after the shower. I experience volume, softness, fullness, and straight hair. My hair needs a lot of products to hold the curls, and I didn’t choose that here, but when I use it, I really get beautiful princess curls that hold with this 💕 The hair routine becomes playful and fun with this! I’ve been testing this SilkyAir Flex 5-in-1 for a few weeks and I’m impressed. First, the packaging, I have one in pink, and it fits so perfectly with my aesthetic. It comes in a lovely pink case with a handle and plenty of space for all the parts, very organized and super easy to pack back up without having to stuff things in. My hair is a bit longer than shoulder-length and very Nordic with fine hair strands. There’s quite a lot of hair on my head, which makes blow-drying and styling a lengthy affair. But being able to style and dry at the same time is just perfect for me. It’s easy to use, without having to read a ton of instructions, and especially great that you can click it at an angle. The oval brush is absolutely gorgeous for a good blowout or just to straighten the hair. The air wrap curling function requires you to have your tongue a bit straight in your mouth when it comes to choosing the right direction and getting the right technique, but you get the hang of it quickly. It’s gentler on my hair than a straightener or curling iron, and even though it gets hot, I don’t have to worry about burning myself. The only challenge I had was that I had to take much less hair at a time for it to manage, than I would have with a curling iron, but the volume speaks volumes. 🙋♀️ I have dry and heat damaged medium long hair. It is not treated in any way. My hair is naturally wavy and it’s very thin/fine so it gets damaged and dry at the ends very easily. I use hair straightener almost daily. 📦 The packaging This product came in gorgeous light pink case. You can fit everything in it and you can use it for travel! It is big and heavy when full but there's still room in there to put other things if you want/need to. Inside there was a manual, 5 heads for different styling/drying, plus the air styler itself. There was also a part you can use to put the styler parts on while they're warm so you don't burn your table/counter. 👀 The design Air styler looks big but was very light and very easy to use. I love the pink and black colors and the ability to move the rod into an L shape. This helps so much when you have to handle the hair on the back of your head and for drying. There are 5 different "heads" to put on for different styles or for drying your hair. 🤔 My opinion The air styler heats in seconds and it was very easy to use it. I love that I can adjust the temperature to what I want. Since my hair is very fine, the higher the temperature, it becomes easier for it to split and get damaged. I really love using this because now I can use the flat extension and dry my hair straight (instead of using the straightener) and my hair stayed straight! 🥳 I also use the round brush for styling my hair ends and it's so easy to use it. Literally took me 5 min to dry my hair and style it! It took me some time to learn to use the curler extensions, but after that I could style my hair in less than 15ish minutes. I always need to use some spray to hold the curls or they will not last a whole day, but this has nothing with the air styler and everything with my hair type. The only odd thing is that it's loud. And not usual noise that hair dryers make. This one is more high pitched. So it takes some time to get used to that. The good thing for me is that my hair hasn't split from using this tool. I'm always afraid this might happen since my hair is very fine, but this hasn't caused any breakage so I'm very happy with it! I absolutely love this!! 💓 My hair feels sooooo nice after drying it/styling it. I love the case, since I can pack this with me when I travel and that I have everything I need to dry and style my hair in one place. Okay, I just have to say it: my hair and I have not always been friends. I have typical Scandinavian hair – medium-thick strands that tend to get dry, frizzy, and a little tired (thanks to the bleaching 🙃). I also find it both difficult and quite boring to style my hair, and I’d rather spend time on my makeup. But Silkn SilkyAir Flex 5-in-1? It has actually impressed me. For starters: five different attachments in one tool. There are a couple of small downsides too: It’s quite loud on max setting, so no “quiet morning-fix” machine directly. Good but hard to use autowrap
I got to test this product from #SILKN as #LYKOINFLUTESTER. I thought it was so fun to get to try this! About my hair: I have a lot of hair, very long and thick (goes down to my butt) and that makes the hair heavy and can have a hard time holding curls. It also takes a very long time before my hair is completely dry. The packaging it comes in is super nice. It comes in a stylish and sleek bag where all the parts are included. It is lovely and easy to hold. However, it can be hard to find the buttons if you don't look since they don't stick out very much. The dryer I think worked well. The hair dried pretty fast, even though it still takes time for me due to the thickness of my hair. It makes some noise, but I wouldn't say it makes more noise than other dryers. The paddle brush and round brush are also good. It was convenient to switch between the different parts. I liked the paddle brush as it made the hair dry, smooth, and straight at the same time. The round brush gave a nice shiny finish where the hair curled a bit at the ends. I found the round brush very easy to use on my bangs to get the desired shape. I have always wanted to try a curling iron with autowrap like this. It felt hard to use at first. I didn't understand from the instruction manual how to curl the hair. Instead, I searched for some videos on how to use it. When I finally understood how to do it, it was still hard to get the curls right. I'm wondering if my hair might be too long for the barrels that the hair is supposed to curl around. I felt like the hair started to spin, but when it spun higher up, the tips of the hair fell out. It could also be that I just need more time to practice using the autowrap. Overall, I am very satisfied with it, but since I had trouble getting curls with the autowrap, it brings the score down a bit. I was so excited to test this. I have thick and voluminous hair, so I'm not a big fan of blow-drying it because it takes time. Now I've tried different functions with this - and I love it! The heated brush - genius! I can brush, blow-dry, and straighten my hair with the same tool. It goes surprisingly fast and is easy. I've tried the curling functions, and here I think practice makes perfect 😂 I managed to get some nice waves, but I want to get better! Blow-drying with a brush is probably my favorite so far 😎 Everything comes in a practical box that has space for all the parts. I easily store the box in my closet when it's not in use. Feels luxurious and of good quality. I also didn't use the manual, just tried it out. Surprisingly like Dyson
I am super satisfied with this🙌🏼 I have been using the Dyson styler for several years and paid over 5000 kr for it, so I was actually a bit skeptical about whether this one could measure up. But you know what, this actually gives exactly the same results🕺🏻😍 After just 5 minutes, my hair becomes either straight or curly, regardless of which style I want. And it looks like I have spent much longer than I actually have🤭 It works quickly, is easy to understand, and very simple to use, even on days when I am short on time. I was really positively surprised by how effective it is, and how well it fits in my hand (super plus that you can adjust the direction of the wand itself🌟). What I like best must be how gentle it is on the hair💌 I notice much less heat damage than with both straighteners and curling irons, and my hair actually feels softer after styling. I have a Dyson Airwrap at home that I've had for several years now and I love. That's why it was a little extra fun to test this one, which definitely has its inspiration from the Dyson Airwrap. And I think it can be a good review for you who are hesitating between these two.
