Spot on color!
I had the chance to test the Sky High mascara in the color True Brown as #lykoinflutester! The Sky High waterproof mascara is definitely my favorite and the only one I use and compare with. Still, I was very curious when the original came out in the color True Brown!🤎 I have very light features and low contrast, and I imagined that the brown color could give a softer look and be a bit less harsh. The color is spot on!🤎 As expected, I found that the brown color made the eyes look a bit softer and suited me better than the black does. Unfortunately, it can’t compare to how the waterproof version holds the lashes up. When I use an eyelash curler + Sky High, the lashes hold the curl and stand straight up! With this one, however, I could see the lashes drooping and standing straight forward, despite the curler. It almost looked like I barely had any mascara on at all. I can warmly recommend the waterproof type; it gets 5 stars from me! Unfortunately, this one doesn’t quite make the cut this time. Fingers crossed for a combo someday! Lovely mask!
Following a recommendation, I applied this mask after my evening routine so that all the products could absorb well into the skin along with the mask💦 The mask was a bit tricky to pull out and put on, but it fit nicely on the face! It tore a little here and there and got holes quickly from nails, so you have to be careful! I cut the mask with scissors so it would fit the face even better, and also used the small patches left on the paper around areas that needed extra coverage. The mask felt really hydrating and stayed well on the face all the hours I used it! I wore it for 3 hours, but you can also sleep with it💤 It can be a bit tiring to wear a face mask for 3 hours, especially if you want to eat, so it might be smart to plan ahead😅 I took off the mask when it became transparent, and the skin was clearly glowing after I removed it! New favorite!
I have often been skeptical about primers as I don’t feel they add that much, and usually go without. After this round as #lykoinflutester, however, I am convinced!✨ The primer glides so well in the hands and over the face, and when I looked in the mirror I almost just wanted to stop there. The primer gave such a nice glow and fullness to the face that I almost considered going bare-faced instead!✨ It almost feels like a skincare serum and provides lots of moisture💦 Under makeup it’s also gold, it dries quickly into the skin and prepares for new products. After work I could see that the makeup held significantly better than usual! Blush and bronzer, which often disappear fastest on me, are just as present as when I first applied! Brows that stay!
This brow gel has been on my wish list for a while, and I finally got to test it as #lykoinflutester! The product is marketed as brow lamination in a tube, and that's pretty accurate! You squeeze the product into the built-in brush and comb through. The only downside is that you have to work quickly! Because the product dries and becomes stiff fast, so you have to be quick to comb through to get it the way you want, and it can be hard to fix once it has dried! But once it has dried, IT STAYS! Which is totally amazing!✨ The shape holds all day, work and workout!🩷 My favorite part is actually the brush. With other brow products, I find the brush gets so full of product that it's hard to comb through the hairs, which I haven't experienced with this one! Multi-use product!
I have tested this product in the shade Medium Glow as #lykoinflutester, and it really impressed me so much! The product can be used in many different ways, but my favorite has become using it alone or under foundation, and what a glow it gives✨ Additionally, it almost feels like skincare, as the skin feels very hydrated!💦 You can also mix the product with foundation if you want. What I have also done is tested it as a body glow! I apply it on the chest and a bit on the shoulders where the light hits, and it creates such a beautiful and cohesive look!😍 Another thing I tested after seeing tips on TikTok is using it under the eyes to brighten up, both alone and under concealer, and I think it works so well!✨ I can also imagine it even being used as a liquid eyeshadow to give some shimmer to the eyelids. Finally, it’s also super nice as a highlighter on top!✨ I love the glow the products give, in addition to moisture + a bit of color! Sick difference!
I've been using Wonderskin for quite a while now, but finally got to try the viral Whimsical color!❤️ In the video, I apply the product directly on dry lips, but for best results, it's recommended to scrub the lips and add moisture well before application❤️ It can be a bit tricky to get completely even lines during application, and you need a couple of layers to cover the entire lips. The product dries quickly, and I often do other things in my makeup routine while waiting. Removes the color after about 5 minutes, and I always add a bit of moisture with a lip balm. I loooove the result, think the color turns out sooo pretty! The color isn't very natural, so I prefer to use it when I do my makeup❤️ Also think the color lasts long, several hours at work, and after water and drinks! After a couple of hours, you'll see the product fades a bit unevenly. I'm still very satisfied, perfect product for days when you don't have the chance to fix your lip combo! I have been so excited about these! Moisture has been the most important step in my skincare routine since I have dry/combination skin and have also struggled a bit with dehydrated skin. I have used these as eye patches with the torriden dive in serum underneath for maximum effect. The pads cover a large area, from under the eyes, cheek, and nose. Of course, you can place them wherever you want, but they have the perfect angle for use under the eyes💙 They also don’t slip off. Hydrating cleanser!
The Torridens Dive In series is my absolute favorite, so I was really excited to try this one!💦 I have dry/combination skin and have struggled with dehydrated skin. This series has saved my skin! The product foams up with water and is easy to spread, better than other cleansers I've tested. Hydrating cleanser!
I have loved all the previous products I've tested from Torriden, so when my previous oil cleanser ran out, there was no doubt which one I would try now! I have dry/combination skin and have also had some issues with dehydrated skin. The Dive in series has saved me here! 💦 At first glance, the bottle looks beautiful, the light blue color is very aesthetically pleasing and looks very hydrating. I squeeze the product into my hands and massage it well. The product actually has a somewhat strong scent; I personally prefer skincare and makeup without fragrance. It glides easily on the skin and melts both makeup and sunscreen. I use some lukewarm water so the cleanser can "emulsify," and then rinse off with lukewarm water. Nice result
In testing the product, I heated/curled my hair with an airwrap before rolling the hair in small sections into the rollers. The rollers are smooth and protective for the hair, but since they are very thin and smooth, I noticed it was hard for the hair to "grab," and the ends of the hair loosened a bit during rolling. This led to a somewhat uneven result with uneven curl patterns. I probably also used sections that were a bit too small since I ran out of rollers before I was done and had to use some others for the last sections. The curls are very tight, but that also makes them last longer. I think the result turned out very nice, and as the evening went on, they loosened a bit and gave a more wavy and natural result🩷 The rollers themselves held well in the hair and are actually quite easy to roll and secure🩷 I have also tested them once overnight and find that they are good to sleep with as long as you think about placement!🩷 #lykoreview1 product in post Nice result1287 views- The user's roll: Lyko Creator.
