I love both of these products and they complement each other well in my skincare routine! Morning: Klairs – Fundamental Nourishing Eye Butter A slightly richer cream that absorbs quickly and gives so much moisture. You don’t get dry at all during the day but really feel hydrated all day long! It smooths out dryness lines and gives an instant fresh look. It’s also the best base under concealer, makeup sits so nicely and it doesn’t get cakey at all. I prefer to apply more rather than less so I really feel hydrated. Evening: Beauty of Joseon – Revive Eye Serum (Ginseng + Retinal) A product I probably will never stop using. The texture is so nice, a bit thinner, it sits really well on the skin and dries quickly! I recently compared with pictures from a year ago and the difference is huge. My thin, dry skin under the eyes has become so much smoother, more even, and has gotten a fantastic glow. Sometimes I even apply it on my whole face, neck, and hands ☺️ Since it contains retinal, it’s quite a strong and effective product. I personally can use it every evening but if you have sensitive skin or aren’t used to retinal, it’s best to start with once a week and test your way forward. The packaging didn’t suit me
TIRTIR Collagen Lifting Eye Cream I had high expectations for this eye cream, but unfortunately it didn’t become a favorite for me. What I liked: The metal applicator feels cool and pleasant on the skin and makes the application a bit more luxurious. What I struggled with: The packaging! The slim tube tips over very easily on the sink or out of the bathroom cabinet. Mine actually broke after falling over, which feels disappointing. The pump... I feel like the pump dispenses more product than I need for the eye area. This makes the product not feel very economical. The consistency. To me, it feels more like a light serum than a classic eye cream. I prefer slightly richer eye creams, so this is of course a matter of taste. (I have previously used Tatcha The Silk Peony, which has a significantly richer consistency, so that can definitely affect my experience.) My rating: 2.5/5 Might suit you if: you like a light eye product with quick absorption. Didn’t suit me because: I prefer a richer consistency and packaging that feels more practical for everyday use. It contains ginseng which moisturizes and gives the skin around the eyes more radiance, as well as retinal which helps reduce fine lines and improve skin texture. The cream feels light on the skin, absorbs quickly, and works well both morning and night. I think the skin around my eyes feels smoother, softer, and more hydrated since I started using it. Incredible eye cream 😍
The benefits of this eye cream are many. First and foremost, I appreciate that it doesn't have a strong scent. I also find that the color of the eye cream helps to "neutralize" my dark circles. I look instantly more awake after applying the eye cream, as my dark circles are neutralized and I get a really nice glow around my eyes. The makeup also applies very nicely on top, as this product adds a lot of moisture. I also find that the product is quite economical, which is great if you want to treat yourself to a product like this! Thanks to Lyko and Kiehl’s for giving me the chance to be a test pilot!! My first review of an eye cream..
First impression: I thought it smelled a bit strange at first & the color was a bit scary ( 🤣) but I like that it doesn't smell strongly of perfume, but more neutral I don't have much to compare with when it comes to eye creams, but this one from Kiehl's feels moisturizing and gives a nice glow under the eyes. The consistency is light and the packaging feels luxurious. However, I don't feel that my makeup sits noticeably better on top, I see no huge difference. More of a pleasant feeling of hydration, which is positive too👀 The conclusion is that it's a good eye cream, but for me not quite wow enough for the highest rating. A big plus is that it's a very economical product, so you don't need much of it 😍 Again, thank you for letting me be a test pilot for these products from Kiehl's. 🙏I have now tested this eye cream for about 4 weeks, and here are my thoughts, first a little about my "eye skin". - A bit on the drier side. - Some crow's feet that aren't super deep yet. - Not directly sensitive in the eye area. - The eye cream is part of my daily skincare routine, and I have tested a ton of eye creams over the past few years. - Sad bags under the eyes! 🤖What I think about the packaging: - The glass jar looks incredibly luxurious. Personally, I prefer pump or tube, but I have no problem with a jar as long as the result is good. - A spatula is included, but I have to be honest and admit that I typically use it the first three times, then I can't be bothered. AND, I feel like my hands are always clean when I do my skincare routine, so I'm not worried about bacteria getting into the jar. 😻The result: - Visible results are promised after 5 days, but I'm a bit unsure if I can agree with that. - However, after these four weeks, I actually think I look a bit more refreshed around the eyes. I think it’s because the dryness wrinkles have been reduced. - Incredibly economical. A minimal amount is enough, if you take just a little too much, it takes time to absorb (which I like in the evening) - There are some light-reflecting particles in it, which contribute to a more awake look. - Super nice rich/thick consistency and really moisturizes well! 🤐The only thing I might miss is that it doesn't do much for the bags, but that's not something it promises either. 💰It costs quite a bit, but I would still say it's worth the money as it will last incredibly long.
