Not a good match for me
Unfortunately, Klairs face mask does not match my specific skin type. But that doesn’t mean it’s bad. 🤔 My skin type is light, mature, and dry. I have reached menopause and no longer have as much oil in my skin as I did just a couple of years ago. So that means I haven’t quite figured it out yet. 🌿 Klairs face mask contains substances from algae and plants that are meant to create a film that locks in moisture. I found this film very uncomfortable. It was especially uncomfortable on my neck and chest. 🧴 I tried applying more cream, but then it never fully dried and became sticky. I also tried moisturizing the skin before the cream, but with the same result. 😔 The cream obviously has a tightening effect and binds moisture. So basically, it should be perfect for me at my age. But there is something about my skin and the cream that didn’t work together. 💗 It’s a shame because this is a very good cream. I can see that from the other reviews. But not everything suits everyone. 💗 I had no reactions and perceive the cream as mild and gentle. 🕰️ I only used the cream for 4-5 days and can’t say anything about long-term results. 🫧 I think the jar is pretty, but personally, I’m not so fond of jars. Tubes are more convenient and often more hygienic. 🍋 The scent is fresh, of lemon and flowers. The scent does not come from perfume but from essential oils. The scent is discreet. I recently compared with pictures from a year ago and the difference is huge. My thin, dry skin under the eyes has become so much smoother, more even, and has gotten a fantastic glow. Sometimes I even apply it on my whole face, neck, and hands ☺️ Since it contains retinal, it’s quite a strong and effective product. I personally can use it every evening but if you have sensitive skin or aren’t used to retinal, it’s best to start with once a week and test your way forward. My skin and hair care routine in the evenings. Step 1: Oil cleansing with "Klairs Gentle Black Deep Cleansing Oil" & then "Dr. Ceuracle Tea Tree Purifine Cleansing Foam". Step 2: Pat in toner "Dr. Ceuracle Hyal reyouth", apply serum/oil "Royal Vita propolis 33 ampoule", moisturize with "Dr. Ceuracle Royal Vita propolis 33 cream" and finish by applying "Beauty of Joseon revive eye serum ginseng + retinal" under the eyes. Step 3: Once I've styled my hair, I spray "Bronza Hydrating Bronzing Mist" on my face and décolletage. 🫶🏻 In my hair, I apply "Kérastase genesis Serum Anti Chute Fortifiant" to the scalp in a cross pattern. Then I massage it in for a minute or two, depending on how much time I have. Then I take about 3-4 pumps of "Kérastase Nutritive 8H Overnight Serum" and apply it to the lengths. I brush through a few times and then make a braid to avoid damaging my hair too much while I sleep 🌸 What do your evening routines look like? My starting point: dry winter skin I have tested the product for about 1 month now, in combination with rich moist cream. First impression: clean design, practical packaging. I really like the pump bottle. The serum is clear and has no scent (something I appreciate). I like that it is for sensitive skin, even though my skin can handle most things. I'm not a big fan of having products on my face with a lot of perfume in them. The serum has a slightly thin consistency, and that's actually what I deduct one star for as well. I spend a lot of time outside in my job, so I need to have a skincare routine with good products, especially in winter.
