Spring Feelings with Pink 🥰🌸
After a base with primer from Make up Mekka and a mix of #lumene cc-cream medium and #idun skintint Kungsholmen, I got a feeling for pink and went wild with my "Vintage rose" palette from #morphe after the shadow primer from #urbandecay. I honestly thought that my red hair would kill my use of pink, in general, but oh how wrong I was! I probably honestly use more pink than ever, but in a different way. The mascara from #catrice in the color burgundy and brow pencil from the same brand. I used my coral blush from #moira, but stood there dreaming of the plum pink and mid-tone blushes from #makeupstore 😋 Must have them! Had Dreamcoat from #colorwow last wash, and it’s hopeless to keep the curls then (shiny and smooth, but that’s the only thing it wants to be). Stubborn as I am, I made a futile attempt today with the dry heat protectant from #happycrazymine, texture spray from #rco, and curling iron from #ghd. On a completely normal weekday, I like to work from a café if I don’t have lessons to lead. Today I’m going to the gym afterward and the glam factor is low but the comfort is high 😋 I curled my hair yesterday so today it was a bit unruly. Today's makeup and refresh of the hair color
The red in the shades washes out quickly, and I've understood that the trick is not to wait to maintain the color until it looks really dull, but to support it along the way. That's why I mixed a bit of Bright Copper with Pink Pop and conditioner when I washed my hair the other day, and I absolutely think the shades of red and copper came back to life a bit more! Otherwise, I've become more focused on lips and less on eyeshadows since I dyed my hair. Here I have Wonderskins Whimsical on my lips. Dashl Copper kiss
My first product from Dashl was a lip pencil and “copper kiss” goes well with my hair color 😋 It’s soft and very easy to work with. I barely had to press it against my skin 🤗 It looked nice on its own, but I needed a bit of moisturizer and also got some shine on top with Decubals balm. ✨Essence lipstain pencil and mixed foundation ✨
I tried mixing a bit of Idun's mineral foundation with Lumene's Blur foundation shade 4 today since Idun's “Freja” is a bit light for me. They worked well together. A bit like Idun's and Lumene's CC creams also have a similar feeling, these two remind me of each other. And Bobbi Brown. I have been trying the powder and cream blush for a while. 👍Blush stick rosty rose is a really beautiful color that suits me well as I am light, more like an autumn color. It is easy to work with and works well even on powder without lifting the base. Hydra silk setting powder that is transparent. Ultra light powder with a bit of moisture/cooling feel that reminds me of By Terry powder. It is very similar to the By Terry powder, which does not work with my skin as it becomes tight and red, so also with this one.😪 It keeps you relatively shine-free throughout the day. I have written about the Bobbi Brown trio before, and wow, what beautiful shades, it is a new favorite of mine.
