The post was made 2 daysIs the iconic Korean tint ETUDE Dear Darling the perfect product? π€ πππππππππ My rating is a strong 4.5/5 ββββ Yesterday I showed my skeleton makeup, and today itβs time for the second, much more fierce look from this yearβs Halloweenπ This look with βbloody,β incredibly realistic marks on the face I made entirely with a product I found in my advent calendar. Weβre talking about the iconic Asian classic β ETUDE Dear Darling Water Tint in the juicy shade 02 Cherry Adeπ₯° π§΄The product is contained in a neat, minimalist 5 g bottle. Itβs made of sturdy material through which you can perfectly see the level of the blood-red liquid left. Huge plus for the applicatorβ€οΈ It has a soft, slightly angled sponge shaped like a hoof, which is incredibly comfortable. It allows precise outlining of the lips and, in my makeup, perfect, irregular application of spots and creating very realistic splatters and clumps on the skin that look like real cutsπ π§ͺ This is a product with a typically watery, ultra-light formula. It absorbs into the skin almost immediately, leaving an amazing, long-lasting color tattoo. The shade 02 Cherry Ade is a deep, mature red with cool tones. Combined with my drawn line Γ la Helena Lawenda, this tint created an amazing, dark vibe. The color blended into the skin so strongly that no rubbing could harm it. Interestingly, when the product sets, it wonβt come off with just water. I was prepared for a tough battle during makeup removal, but regular micellar water handled it without any problem, leaving no red marks or discoloration on my skin. π An additional advantage is the productβs scent, which is intense and fresh, reminiscent of juicy cherry π, which fades quite quickly after application without tiring the nose. β Pros + Absolutely bulletproof durability β the product literally βbitesβ into the skin, doesnβt rub off, and gives a very realistic effect. + Easy makeup removal β micellar water handles it perfectly and leaves no pink stains on the face. + Beautiful, multidimensional juicy cherry color. + Versatility β great for lips, but as you can see, fantastic for creative makeup looks. β Cons: - Used alone on the lips, it can give a slight tightening sensation after a few hours due to the watery base. Dry lip skin requires finishing with a favorite moisturizing balm or lip gloss. ETUDE Dear Darling Water Tint is a product that fully deserves its global fame. It was supposed to be a dark and spectacular skeleton. At first glance in the mirror, I thought I looked funny, but after a moment I realized that the refined contours had gained a real, cinematic edgeπ₯ With such strong makeup, cosmetics undergo the toughest test. Here are my conclusions from the battlefield. ποΈ Black duel (Premium vs Market): To draw black eye sockets and nose, I tested two black pencils: the iconic Shiseido Kajal InkArtist and the NYX Jumbo Eye Pencil (Black Bean). And you know what? NYX simply falls short compared to Shiseido! The NYX pencil is much less pigmented, the black comes out pale and lacks depth. But Shiseido... itβs simply something brilliantπ₯° It gives an instant, tar-like, ultra-deep black that holds the contour like concrete and doesnβt show any gaps. Absolute world-class! β¨ I finished the whole effect of bones, sunken cheeks, and dark highlighting with reliable highlighters from MAC (Hyper Real Glow). They gave a beautiful, luxurious sheen that perfectly contrasts with the matte black, and I perfectly shaded the sides of the face with a blush from Sleek MakeUP, achieving that amazing sunken cheekbone effect of the skull.
