I’ve had the honor to test NYX PROFESSIONAL MAKEUP browglue through #lykoinflutester 🩷 I love brow lamination and glues – always use it in my makeup routine because of unruly brows. I actually like the applicator on the product – but I have to say I wasn’t completely sold at first test. But I’ve used it for a while now and it has really grown on me! It laminates the eyebrows and holds WELL but I don’t experience a 24h durability as promised (I haven’t tested 24h 🧐 but I feel it doesn’t stay completely perfect after about 8h) I need to use quite a bit of product for my brows. So yes, it’s a good brow gel! Have been using this for several years, it does what it’s supposed to, leaves the skin kind of tacky and sticky so the base really stays all day, the scent is pleasant! A good primer that is “light” in texture and at the same time gives some glow but also provides good longevity. I find that it probably suits many skin types as it gives some hydration but not too much, so it doesn’t get greasy. But for me, it’s hard to say if it gives better longevity, maybe because I rarely experience problems with the longevity of my makeup. But I can imagine that for people who do experience those problems or who wear more makeup than I do, it might work better! I've especially liked this product under makeup. It moisturizes the skin, makes the surface elastic, and helps the makeup spread evenly. The makeup feels like it stays well all day. However, without foundation, I don't find the product particularly necessary on its own. Even though the formula has good moisturizing ingredients, I want the skin to also just breathe sometimes. That's why I only use it if I'm also doing makeup. And the scent is a solid 10/10. The Brow Glue Crazy Lift Lamination Gel 01 Transparent
I had pretty high expectations for this one since it promises a laminated brow look with up to 24 hours of hold, without feeling stiff or leaving white flakes. It also has a built-in styling comb that makes it easy to lift and shape every little brow hair. My experience? It was okay – but nothing "wow." My brows definitely looked more lifted and a bit more groomed, but I didn’t get that really sharp lamination effect I was hoping for. It held the brows in place pretty well throughout the day and didn’t feel crispy or hard, which is a big plus. However, I didn’t feel that extra "wow" factor that makes you want to run out and buy a new one right away. For me, it’s a product that does the job, but not much more. It’s easy to use and works well if you want a naturally lifted look, but if you’re after extremely fluffy, salon-laminated brows, it might not quite live up to the hype. Rating: 3/5 ⭐ A totally okay product – my brows got lifted, but I wasn’t exactly blown away. I have tested this primer for a couple of weeks now and I absolutely love it! Previously, I also had it in my makeup bag and for me, it’s an obvious choice. This primer is both serum and primer in one, which strengthens its function. It keeps the makeup looking great all day and it doesn’t move into patches. As a #lykoinflutester, I have been testing this brow gel from #nyxprofessionalmakeup for a few weeks now. I am 35 years old and had overplucked brows as a teenager, so I don’t have much hair on the outer edges of my brows. But I have had microblading done later to get a bit more shape on my brows as an adult. I found it a bit difficult to get the product out, but once it came out, it was super easy to spread and brush over the brows. I don’t think I’m quite in the target group here with missing hair on half of my brows. But I think it looked very nice where I do have hair! The durability can’t be complained about either, to say the least! Not quite for me
I've been lucky enough to test this primer from #nyxprofessionalmakeup for a few weeks now as #lykoinflutester. I'm 35 years old with sensitive combination skin. I rarely use foundation, so I've tested this as a serum and as prep before makeup. The design is really fun! But I get a bit skeptical when the serum promises plumper skin. So I was curious before testing, to put it that way. It's nice to apply, doesn't feel like it sits on top of the skin like many other similar products. Gives a light glow but didn't notice the plumpness that was promised :p But I feel it moisturizes and works well as a good base for makeup. This really lifted the look nicely😍 I also have long hairs, so it didn’t droop during the day even though I used a bit less product than recommended. With this, I also got a neater look on makeup-free days, which was lovely! I tried using this both in the first step of makeup (which it’s probably designed for) and during makeup, and that worked too. You just can’t really “laminate” the brows against the skin as well, but the result is still nice as you can see in the picture🥹 Natural but lasting! Actually, the only things that lowered my score were the built-in brush and the difficulty of getting the gel out. You really have to squeeze hard to get product out, and even then, only a very small amount came out if the goal is a pea-sized amount. Then again, the brush head seems to get messy right away. Nice basic primer!
I feel like this primer did the same as a gel-like moisturizer: moisturized and gave a light stickiness. So maybe I don’t really get the hype or especially the price😂 The texture was gel-like and easy to apply on the face. Even with a smaller amount, you could get pretty far. I didn’t necessarily notice the promised “plump” effect, but on the skin it felt light and moisturizing. After letting the primer sit on the face for a moment, it became a bit stickier which was nice. It feels like foundation sticks better to that. I’m also not completely sure if it really did anything extra for makeup longevity😅 The packaging was really fresh and the pump dispensed good amounts! I got to try this primer from #lykoinflutester as part of #nyxprofessionalmakeup 🤩 This primer and serum are probably a new favorite for me! My skin becomes so wonderfully hydrated, plump, and just generally feels fresh! ✨️ In this heat, I don’t wear much makeup, so unfortunately haven’t been able to test how well it works as a primer! 🌞 It leaves a suuuper mild tiny sticky feeling on the skin, barely anything at all. But I imagine that little sticky feeling is to keep the foundation in place. I’m super happy with this product! As a #lykoinflutester, I got to try this product from #nyxprofessionalmakeup !🤩 W o W !!! The brow gel does everything it promises! The built-in brush is perfect for combing through the brows and getting a nice lift. I use quite a little product but still get a pair of fresh brows that last all day! The product dries quickly, so you have to be pretty fast brushing it on I use it every day, whether I'm just at home without makeup or out in town all made up💅 I have quite wild hairs in my eyebrows but with this gel they stay exactly where I want them! I have often been skeptical about primers as I don’t feel they add that much, and usually go without. After this round as #lykoinflutester, however, I am convinced!✨ The primer glides so well in the hands and over the face, and when I looked in the mirror I almost just wanted to stop there. The primer gave such a nice glow and fullness to the face that I almost considered going bare-faced instead!✨ It almost feels like a skincare serum and provides lots of moisture💦 Under makeup it’s also gold, it dries quickly into the skin and prepares for new products. After work I could see that the makeup held significantly better than usual! Blush and bronzer, which often disappear fastest on me, are just as present as when I first applied! Brows that stay!
This brow gel has been on my wish list for a while, and I finally got to test it as #lykoinflutester! The product is marketed as brow lamination in a tube, and that's pretty accurate! You squeeze the product into the built-in brush and comb through. The only downside is that you have to work quickly! Because the product dries and becomes stiff fast, so you have to be quick to comb through to get it the way you want, and it can be hard to fix once it has dried! But once it has dried, IT STAYS! Which is totally amazing!✨ The shape holds all day, work and workout!🩷 My favorite part is actually the brush. With other brow products, I find the brush gets so full of product that it's hard to comb through the hairs, which I haven't experienced with this one!
