I like this just as much and the applicator is very easy to use, and the result is so pretty. I love the formula! However, I don’t get any color on the ball but have to angle the pencil from the side, I don’t know if I got a defect but otherwise I can imagine that these formulas dry out quickly, important to always store lip stains upside down. The pencil lasts for many hours if you don’t apply lip gloss/lip balm over it. 💜Jelly Job Lip gloss 11 Jelly Icing I didn’t think I would like this since it’s a high-pigmented lip gloss, but the formula is very soft and not sticky at all. I have been so lucky to test NYX's product Plump Right Back ⚡️ It is a serum and primer in one, and the first impression is very positive. The product has a fresh and pleasant scent, and the pump bottle makes it easy to get the right amount of product out. The consistency is almost lighter gel-like, but still very easy to apply evenly on the skin. After a short time, the skin becomes a bit «sticky», and this is exactly where the product really impresses. This stickiness makes foundation and other base products sit extremely well on the skin. The makeup has a good grip and lays nicely, without sliding around. For me, it worked very well under foundation 💛 If you don't like the feeling of sticky skin, you can let the product dry a little longer. After a while, it feels like it completely absorbs into the skin, while the effect is still there. The makeup still sits well, and the base stays nice over time. Fills the skin with lots of goodness
I have tried this primer from NYX both now and previously, and I am absolutely satisfied with it. The formula is transparent and gel-like, and when you work it into the skin a bit by patting, it becomes a little lightly sticky/messy. I notice right upon application that the primer evens out the skin's texture. It becomes a bit smoother! What is stated in the description that the skin is "filled out" is really true. That it is also multifunctional and has a lot of nourishing properties is a big plus! If I had to guess, it's probably a big reason why it should make the makeup last better, since skincare is A and O when it comes to that. I also like the pump bottle and the function. This product has really surprised me positively. It is described as both a primer and serum, and after using it for a while, I understand why - it feels primarily like skincare, but also works very well under makeup. I would say my skin is normal, but I can experience a bit of dryness, especially in winter. Still, this product has suited me very well in winter too. When it comes to the packaging and applicator, I really like it. The pump makes it easy to dose the right amount, and it's practical that you can see how much is left in the bottle. This primer has an incredibly fresh and nice scent, while also providing a good base for the skin! I found that my dry winter skin got more moisture, and that the makeup looked better throughout the day🤩 I also felt that it gave a bit of glow! One of my favorites from 2025💕
I discovered the Nyx Plump right back primer + serum at the beginning of 2025 after all the hype on social media. I was a bit skeptical at first (I've probably tried around 15-20 different primers), but the first thing I reacted to was the texture, then the scent, and finally the result. The texture was in the form of a serum, very thin, easy to work with, not sticky, and absorbs quickly into the skin. I like to take extra of this, the skin feels so hydrated, that was just the feeling I got every time I used the primer. The scent, absolutely wonderful. Nothing that gives me a headache, I probably can't use the word mild to describe the scent, but I love the scent. The result with it? I, who have dry skin, very dry skin in the winter, found that my skin doesn't look dry at all with 100 kg of makeup. I use a lot of makeup, and since I'm dry, skincare is extremely important, and primer is a bonus to maintain function and ensure that the skin doesn't get drier from all the makeup. Ps. I usually don’t use primers in my makeup because my skin is so dry that primers are often too drying, and it feels too heavy to use them over all the skincare underneath the makeup. In this product, I was positively surprised by the product's lightness and moisturizing feel. However, I want to mention that as someone with very dry skin - especially now in winter, there still need to be good moisturizing skincare products underneath this product. I like that the product doesn’t have any strong scent and that it feels very unobtrusive on the skin. I can’t yet say if the product has really helped with the makeup's longevity, but I also have nothing bad to say about the product! This product I could call more serum than a primer I guess. I tried using it both as a primer, before putting on my makeup, and as a simple face serum, a part of a daily routine. I didn’t notice any visible improvement or difference while wearing a makeup, like keeping it fresh longer than usually. But as a serum, I can recommend this product for daily use. So moisturizing!
I had the honor of testing this primer from Nyx professional makeup. It is a moisturizing and plumping primer + serum. I would say my skin is normal. I can have periods where I get a bit drier in the winter and a bit oilier in the summer, but for the most part, my skin is the same all the time. The first impression is that I like the packaging. I like that you can see how much is left and love the pump that makes it easy to get the right amount of product out! The product itself feels light and really makes the skin feel moisturized! I really understand that it is primer + serum because it feels like a moisturizing serum. After using the product, you feel moisturized and your skin feels firmer and nicer. The skin is left a little tacky, which makes the foundation stick nicely. I have tested this primer with several different foundations, and it has worked with all of them! All foundations have applied nicely, and it hasn’t crumbled with any, which is really positive. The makeup has also held up nicely all day, so the product has really done its job. I usually don't use primer, so it's good to keep that in mind when considering this product. I've tested it both alone and under makeup, but unfortunately, I don't notice any big difference when it comes to plumping the skin. Very good primer
I've been using this consistently in my routine for the past few weeks and I'm very satisfied with the results. It's easy to apply (you need very little), absorbs relatively quickly, but is "sticky" long enough for you to apply foundation. I like that it's a bit sticky because I find it improves the longevity. For info, I have combination skin with a slightly oily T-zone and drier cheeks and chin. My skin stays covered without spots all day, even when I'm busy, touching my face a bit, or getting a little light rain on my face. Lines also appear less pronounced. Great product, seems economical in use, very reasonable price, so it gets a full score. I've been using this primer on and off for a year now, and recently got the chance to use it over time as #lykoinflutester ✨ The bottle is pretty and eye-catching, made of solid plastic that protects the product in the makeup bag, and has, not least, a practical and easy-to-use pump! The primer itself is completely transparent and gel-like. I use it all over my face as a full-coverage base under foundation, and I find that it provides good moisture and some glow WITHOUT being sticky! I initially thought it would be sticky since it was launched around the same time as sticky primers were trending, but thankfully it is not 😅 My skin simply feels fresh! This one guarantees «plump», glow, and that the makeup lasts all day, and I must say I completely agree on all counts!!
