Me in the middle of October: “I’m not going to engage that much in Halloween this year” Also me, but on Halloween: …👻😅 This year it turned into some kind of medusa/snake hybrid, and it was definitely great to nerd out on things for it too! 😁 FACE I started by applying eyeshadow primer #urbandecay on the areas I wanted to paint “scales.” Then I took a pair of fishnet tights and pulled them over my head and dabbed eyeshadow on the areas I wanted scales on. I was lucky to find the last green palette from #elf (one shadow was broken so that was probably the reason it was left) and it was PERFECT for this. After I took off the tights, I powdered with #nyx HD powder, which goes on translucent, and then settingspray #urbandecay. Then I went in with #isadora matte primer and #lumene blur foundation where it was missing. Another round with nyx hd powder and settingspray. EYES The eyes got the same base with eye primer and the shadows from elf. A black shadow from #thebalm added some depth and smoke. I used gray kajal #loreal both around the lash lines and brows. A trick I came up with when I forgot kajal once was to use the mascara, take a bit of it on a brush, or the back of a knife, which was the solution back then 😅 and paint/stamp. Since the #bbia mascara is the most waterproof I know, I also drew a line of it along each lash line and used it with the mascara brush for the lashes. A couple of red lenses from a local store. HAIR I prepped my hair with mousse and put it up in a ponytail with parts of my hair on top of my head. Then I wrapped strands around the snakes and secured the strands with pins. I sprayed everything with #rco finish spray. The snakes were black but painted with nail polish and acrylic paint. NAILS I painted a black base and painted the threads on plackers and “stamped” the other colors a bit here and there. I used some random brands. The top coat is from #sechevite. FRAGRANCE #ysl Opium Nice and tidy at home after the “extra everything makeup” 😅 Last photo with white over the eyes (I spare you my eyes that are red from both lenses and the fact that it’s around 5 AM. Do you see what insane durability the makeup had?! 12 hours of makeup, five of which were at a party and five at the bar. It was definitely a good idea to use the eyeshadow primer even under the pattern. The pattern can’t really be improved once it’s set, so I’m pleasantly surprised. 🤗 #halloween24

I was invited to my partner's niece's Halloween party, where they promised extra dessert if you came dressed up. Of course, I accepted the challenge 😁 #halloween24

1000 years. Just 999 years left, she whispered to herself as the stench from the fish scraps she was digging in with her hands almost made her faint. A whole year of training for this, yet the stench was unbearable. She froze to the marrow from the moisture that always dripped around her. The only comfort was that her fingers, now blue from the cold, no longer hurt. She felt nothing at all. Just 999 years left, she whispered again, as if to keep her feelings in check. A year since she signed the contract to sail for Davy Jones and his ghostly crew, and for what? For love? No, not love, for a man who then betrayed her. She almost laughed at the irony of it all. His life against hers. She thought she could handle it. 1000 years in service. But she could already feel how she was changing. The ship and the sea were gradually taking a larger and larger part of her body. Memories became murky. Body parts felt like they were outside her own mind. The snails that had rooted themselves on her body mistook her for the ship's own hull, just as she would one day do. Like previous crew members, she would drown in the boat, into the sea, and there, for thousands of years, drift confusedly with this hellish place without even remembering her own name. She knew it now. She knew what an idiot she had been. Sailing for Davy Jones was an eternal curse. But there was nothing left for her now, nothing more than to count. Just 999 years left now. #halloween24 Ps! Oh, how it squirmed this time, the clay just fell off and the colors ran out, so I had to improvise much more than I wanted, not completely satisfied with the result because I know I can do better! But I’ll still post the picture. The most important thing is that we have fun and share the makeup interest with each other 😊👋

A first breath. She opened her eyes and screamed as the sunlight burned her eyes. The sound of murmuring voices could be heard in the background. The feeling of having been nothing and waking up as something was unbearable. She made another attempt to see. After a few blinks, she could make out blurry shapes around her. Creatures moving closer to her. She flinched, tried to back away, but almost fell as she hit something hard. Quickly, she turned around and saw a large green creature. A massive body with stitched-together limbs and dark, almost black eyes staring straight at her. She didn't know it yet, but she had just come to life at her own wedding, and the world would turn out to be just as terrifying as those black eyes. #halloween24 Ps! I used modeling clay to sculpt the face, so it's a good tip for anyone who doesn't have the means/ funds to buy something like that 😊👋

My second contribution to #halloween24 🎃 was meant to be an AI (robot?) But it turned out more like a zombie or something? 😅 I tried for ages to cover up my eyebrows, but they ended up as they did 🙈 Thanks Lyko for an incredibly fun competition! Now I really want to dress up 😱 I have to give a shoutout to common clouds facial cleanser, which was great for removing makeup, so I hope Lyko gets it in their range soon. It really melted away! ☁️🤭
