Lovely but expensive
I have had the honor of testing this along with 2 other products from face formula like #lykotestpilot for a couple of weeks, and I can already see some difference in how my skin feels😄. Pictures 2 and 3 show my skin before and after 3 weeks of use🫶 I have oily skin with a lot of redness and easily get pimples if I use the wrong products, but luckily this worked without any problems☺️. It has a milk-like consistency and can preferably be left on for a minute or two before rinsing off. During use, I have noticed that my pores have become visibly smaller on my cheeks and that my redness has decreased somewhat😍. However, I have gotten a few more pimples than usual, which might be due to the transition to new products😕. Received this product as #lykotestpilot in exchange for an honest review, as a reference I have sensitive combination skin. 📦 First impression Simple pump that neither drips nor splatters and dispenses a good amount of product. The texture is thicker and the scent is the typical sunscreen smell. 💄 Usage I always use plenty of SPF on my face, so it was one pump per area on the face and décolleté. Applied after cleansing and serum and possibly moisturizer/milk toner 20 minutes before sun exposure. However, I skipped the moisturizer because this cream already feels very thick and heavy as it is. 👍 Pros 💚 Long-lasting 💚 Super good application pump 💚 Very moisturizing and gives a nice glow for those who prefer it 👎 Cons ❤️🩹 Pills during application ❤️🩹 Feels heavy and oily on the face ❤️🩹 Only SPF 30, prefer SPF 50 ❤️🩹 High price 💭 Conclusion Unfortunately, this was not a hit for me, I have never before experienced a product pilling but now I understand what many mean. I'm quite picky with SPF, and this one has made a good impression on me. Nova Cream SPF 30 has a pleasant cream texture and feels more like a regular face cream than a typical sunscreen. Lovely serum for moisture and glow!
I had the opportunity to test Face Formula Blue Serum, and I am very pleased with the result! I have a combination skin type, and the serum feels light and comfortable on the skin without feeling heavy. What I like best is how soft and hydrated the skin feels after application. The skin gets a nice glow and looks fresher, while the serum absorbs quickly. I also find that the skin feels more balanced and comfortable throughout the day. The serum has a lovely texture and is easy to use in the morning and evening routine. A small amount is enough for the whole face, so it lasts quite a while. After using it for a while, I think my skin feels softer, more hydrated, and has a nicer glow. The only small downside is the price, as I think the serum is on the pricier side. Could have been a great finish to the daytime skincare routine, but unfortunately I probably won’t continue using this 🥺 It feels quite greasy and smells like typical sunscreen. The biggest downside was that it clumped during and after application, like it doesn’t absorb properly into the skin. I’ve ended up removing it again before applying makeup so that the makeup lays nicely. Unfortunately not a sunscreen for me
I was looking forward to testing this, especially because I like sunscreens that work well under makeup. My first impression of the cream itself was also quite good. It has a medium thick consistency, is easy to spread on the hand (where I tested first), and has a very mild scent, which I really like. Unfortunately, it didn’t work so well on my skin. I am 41 years old and have sensitive skin with rosacea. I found that the cream needed quite a long time to be worked in to avoid white cast, and it took a long time to absorb properly. I used two finger lengths as you should with sunscreen. For me, the result was not matte either. The skin felt for a long time as if it had a thin, slightly oily layer, and the product transferred to my fingers when I touched my skin. I also experienced pilling, even on my chest, where I only had Face Formula Blue serum underneath. I also tested with a smaller amount of Nova cream and then it absorbed faster, but the greasy feeling was still there. I tried both with serum and without anything else after cleansing, but the experience was the same. I also didn’t quite get along with the packaging. I had to pump many times to get enough product out. Unfortunately, the packaging felt a bit cheap, and mine didn’t seem to work quite right either. Towards the end of testing, I noticed many small, colorless bumps on my forehead. I can’t be sure if it was caused by the Nova cream, but since this is not normal for my skin, I chose to stop testing. I liked the consistency and the mild scent, but unfortunately there were too many things that didn’t work for me for this to get a permanent place on my bathroom shelf. So would I buy this myself? To give the products a fair chance, I replaced my usual face wash, serum, and SPF with their cleansing milk, blue serum, and nova cream SPF. I used these products daily for about three weeks. Here are my thoughts and reviews on each product: 😍🫱🏽🫲🏼 (Face Wash - 2 in 1 Refining Cleansing Milk 100 ml) This cleanser is really awesome! The skin feels soft and silky already after the first wash, without feeling tight or dry. A really lovely cleanser that leaves the skin fresh and moisturized. To get the enzyme peeling effect, I let it sit on my face for 1-2 minutes. It is very light and gentle on the skin, very pleasant to apply✨ 5/5 ⭐️ (Serum - Blue Serum 30 ml) A really good serum that absorbs super fast and feels light on the skin. Perfect if you don’t like serums that feel sticky or sit on top of the skin. The skin also feels moisturized and boosted after application. I really appreciated the unique pump function. 💯 5/5 ⭐️ (Sunscreen - Nova Cream SPF 30 50 ml) This SPF gives a really nice, glowing result and leaves the skin with a lovely radiance. I had pretty high hopes for this, but unfortunately it didn’t deliver as I had hoped. It left my skin greasy/oily, and it’s also very thick in consistency which I don’t like. I had hoped that Face Formula Nova Cream SPF 30+ would suit my skin, but unfortunately this product was a disappointment for me. The cream has a rather thick consistency, and I have to press the pump many times to get enough product for the whole face. The consistency also feels very greasy on my skin. After application, the skin becomes very shiny, and the cream leaves quite a sticky feeling. I have combination skin leaning towards dry, but even on my skin the finish is too greasy and shiny. The biggest problem for me, however, is that the cream starts to roll off the skin and form small clumps. This makes it difficult to use daily, especially since a sunscreen must be applied in sufficient quantity. The scent reminds me of a classic sunscreen. It is noticeable but not something that particularly bothers me. A big plus is that the cream does not sting my eyes, which I appreciate in a facial sunscreen. Unfortunately, this does not outweigh the greasy and sticky feeling and the problem with the product rolling off the skin. I have tested Face Formula Blue Serum, and this serum has suited my skin very well. The serum has a fairly light and liquid gel-like consistency and a somewhat unusual blue-gray color. It spreads very easily over the skin. One full pipette is more than enough for my entire face. I have combination skin that tends to be dry, and I think the serum gives my skin very good moisture. It absorbs quickly and leaves only a minimal sticky feeling. The skin feels smooth, soft, and well-moisturized afterward, without feeling heavy or greasy. What I especially like is that the serum alone provides my skin with enough moisture. I actually don’t feel the need to use cream on top every time. The formula contains, among other things, Copper Tripeptide-1, panthenol, trehalose, and Tremella Fuciformis (snow mushroom), ingredients that contribute moisture and care to the skin. I have also not experienced any negative reactions. The serum does not irritate my skin and does not sting around the eyes, even when I use it quite close to the eye area. All in all, Blue Serum has suited my skin very well. I have tried Face Formula 2 in 1 Refining Cleansing Milk and am overall satisfied. The cleansing feels pleasant on the skin and leaves a clean and soft feeling, with a mild scent. I like that it is easy to apply and it is economical so it lasts a long time. I also think it is good at removing makeup and does not dry out the skin, but is very moisturizing. 🌸 The only negative is the price – I think it is a bit too expensive. Soft and lovely cleansing milk
This is a really lovely cleansing milk that leaves the skin clean, soft, and comfortable after use. If it removed all my waterproof mascara, it would be 5 stars. ⭐️ Now it lands at 4 stars. 🧼 Application I apply it on dry skin and then rinse off. You can also leave it on for 1-2 minutes to get a light enzyme peel. It can also be used on a cotton pad to remove makeup and then rinsed off. 🌸 Texture & scent The texture is thin and soft, which makes it easy and pleasant to apply. However, it has a fairly distinct scent that I find hard to pinpoint. I think it leans a bit towards almond. ✨ Result After use, the skin feels really clean, while becoming soft and smooth without feeling dry. I have combination skin and think this works very well for my skin type. 💄 Makeup removal I have also used it to remove makeup and think it works well for most things. My skin looks greasy and crumbly after use
Unfortunately, this is not an SPF product I can recommend – especially considering the high price. Usage: According to the product description, the cream should leave the skin soft, smooth, and pleasantly matte, and it should suit all skin types. It should be applied as the last step in the skincare routine, after moisturizer, in the morning. It is also recommended to reapply the product after activities like sweating, swimming, or drying off with a towel. Texture and scent: The cream has a fairly thick texture when it comes out of the bottle and has a distinct sunscreen scent. My result: For me, the texture is way too thick. The cream needs to be worked in thoroughly to absorb into the skin, but even then, the result is not what I hoped for. My skin becomes greasy, sticky, and crumbly upon application. It also continues to feel greasy on the skin even after several hours. If I rub my face, the product starts to crumble even more. I have tried using it both with and without moisturizer to see if the moisturizer affects the result. My conclusion is that it doesn’t make much difference. Whether I use moisturizer underneath or not, the skin still becomes sticky, greasy, and crumbly. I have also tried applying makeup on top of the SPF, but then the problem becomes even more noticeable because the product crumbles even more. Conclusion: Unfortunately, this is not an SPF I will continue to use, recommend, or buy again. For me, a good SPF should be thin in texture, easy to apply, and quickly absorb into the skin. It should feel light and pleasant without leaving a greasy film – and above all, it should not crumble. Very pleasant cleansing milk
I have tested Face Formula 2 in 1 Refining Cleansing Milk, and I like it very much 🤍 The cleansing milk has a soft and pleasant texture and is completely fragrance-free. It does not foam when massaged into the skin but instead feels creamy and mild. The manufacturer states that it can be used in several ways: as a regular facial cleanser, to remove makeup, or you can leave it on the skin for 1–2 minutes before rinsing off for a mild enzymatic effect. I have also tested it for removing makeup, and it does a very good job. It removes eye makeup well, and after cleansing, the skin feels clean, soft, and comfortable without feeling tight or dry 🥰 The only downside for me is that the product can sting the eyes if it gets directly into them. I experienced that the stinging could be felt for a while afterward. Since the cleansing milk can also be used to remove eye makeup, this is a bit of a drawback for me. The formula contains, among other things, panthenol, allantoin, aloe vera, and bioflavonoids. On the skin, I find it mild and pleasant, and I especially like that the skin feels soft after cleansing without becoming dry. All in all, this is a cleansing milk I really like. It cleans effectively, works well for makeup removal, and leaves the skin soft and comfortable. SOS Paste - fantastic!
I am incredibly positively surprised by the SOS Paste from Face Formula! I had an outbreak of perioral dermatitis that had lasted for over 2 months, and after just 3 days with SOS Paste, my skin was incredibly much calmer. 🙌 The skin got a bit dry along the way, but since I was good at adding plenty of moisture, the skin became nice again – almost as if nothing had been there. ❤️ For me, this has truly been a fantastic product, and I am so glad I tried it!
