I have had the honor of being a test pilot for Schwarzkopf Professional Osis+ Super Shield for a few weeks. 🧴 I love trying different hair products, and a versatile product feels perfect for me since I don’t like when hair feels heavy or gets a hard texture. This spray contains: ⭐️heat protection up to 230 degrees ⭐️protection against pollution ⭐️controls moisture and frizz ⭐️adds shine I can check off all the points; for me, this is truly a wow product. You can use it on damp and dry hair, which is a big advantage if, like me, you style your hair almost daily. You get shine immediately and don’t need any additional shine spray. The scent has a slightly floral touch; it smells quite a bit upon application but I don’t think it’s a heavy scent that lingers in the hair. How long the product lasts is hard to say, but after these three weeks of almost daily use, I would say it’s barely noticeable in weight that it has been used so frequently. Beautifully Defined Curls
I have had the honor of being a test pilot for Schwarzkopf Professional Osis+ Curl Soufflé for a few weeks 😍 I have slightly curly/wavy hair that easily gets frizzy and rarely gets defined curls. This usually results in me styling it with heat tools and rarely having my natural hair. Therefore, it was fun to challenge myself a bit and see how my hair turns out with this product. This mousse contains: ⭐️heat protection up to 230 degrees ⭐️gives the hair a fuller feel ⭐️controls moisture and frizz ⭐️adds shine After washing my hair, I scrunched the mousse into completely wet hair and then let it air dry. I have lost some hair in recent years, otherwise I would have needed to blow-dry some to avoid waiting forever for it to dry. With that as a reference, I used two handfuls of product distributed throughout my hair. During drying, some of the product dried into the hair, giving a slight wet look. I've read so many great and interesting tips from the #kbeautysummer tag and now I have to share one myself. 🧼 My skin always acts up at the beginning of summer, like clockwork it always comes in May/June with clogged pores and pimples. I have dry skin with an oily T-zone, so you constantly have to deal with some skin issues. Here are my tips anyway! ☀️ 🌊 🍓 By Lyko - Hydra Pads (not exactly K-beauty but had to share anyway) these are so good for making your own little sheet mask. I usually use 5 and they are easy to split to reach the temples and other smaller areas. 🍋🟩 Dr.Ceuracle - Royal Reyouth BHA 2 % Tonic. An exfoliating toner that I put on the hydra pads to remove dead skin cells, oil, and impurities. It contains hyaluronic acids so it’s not drying but sunscreen is still needed. This is to prepare the skin for the next step. 🫐 Skin 1004 - Madagascar centella poremizing Quick clay stick mask. This is a clay mask in stick form so it’s quick to apply and forms an even layer on the skin. Cleans the pores and works on my skin issues. 🍊 Erborian - Water Shot Mask. A moisturizing mask that gives plumped and refreshed skin. 🍋 Biodance - Hydro Cera-nol Real Deep (ran out at home) otherwise I also love this mask which you should leave on for several hours and preferably overnight. Exfoliation and Luxury
I have been lucky enough to be a test pilot for this luxurious Dermalogica. Here comes the review of Dermalogica’s “Phyto Nature,” which is a leave-on exfoliation to be used twice daily. 🧼 🌗 My skin is not in its best condition at the moment. I have pollen allergies that usually can negatively affect my skin this time of year, making it extra sensitive. 🌱 Otherwise, I would describe it as combination skin that easily gets clogged pores. I used this product morning and night for two weeks and loved the texture and thought the size of my pores decreased. But then the skin on my forehead started to get clogged pores, and I read that the ingredients in this exfoliation could irritate skin that doesn’t tolerate oils. I had to take a break and use it once daily, which calmed the skin somewhat. But it was lovely in the evenings when removing makeup to feel dead skin cells rolling off. Day Cream with SPF and Anti-Age
I have been lucky to be a test pilot for some luxurious products from Dermalogica. Here is my review after a few weeks of using Dynamic Skin - Recovery SPF50 50 ml. 🤍 Before I read about the product, it seemed like a great day cream with SPF and its anti-age properties. I have a bit of trouble with sunscreens that are too greasy since I have acne-prone skin, so my T-zone gets oily easily. This is a skin cream with SPF, so it’s not something I would use all day in the sun as I burn easily and it needs to be reapplied often and in larger amounts, but definitely for everyday use. ☀️ The skin gets a nice glow, no whitecast but the formula is a bit too greasy for me. Luxurious Skin Cream
I have been lucky to be a test pilot for some luxurious products from Dermalogica. Here is my review after a few weeks of using the Pro-Collagen Banking Water Cream 🩵 When I looked at the ingredients, it looks promising with a water-based formula (since I use water-based foundation), peptides, and anti-aging benefits. I have a combination skin type that is acne-prone. The packaging has a practical and hygienic pump in the middle of the jar. The only downside I can see is that you can't see how much product is left. 🧼 The cream melts nicely into the skin, and I feel that I get a glow and feel hydrated all day. It is not heavy but a very light formula. Best mousse I've tried
I got to be #testpilot for this product for a few weeks, and with that, I got to try a fiber mousse for the first time. An extra plus that got me excited was that it contains heat protection. The reason I hadn't tried fiber mousse before or am a frequent user of regular mousse is that I don't like the product feel in my hair. My hair easily gets frizzy, dry, and has a lot of baby hairs on top. I usually style my hair but rarely use styling products. I was positively surprised by this mousse; it was a bit hard to know how much product to put in my hand. The first time, it was a bit too much, but after that, I got a feel for how much I needed. Everything you could wish for
I have had the honor to be a #testpilot for this product for a few weeks and I am so happy about it because I have found a new favorite product. I would say my hair is normal thickness, gets frizzy easily, has a lot of baby hairs, and is always styled. My references when it comes to hair products are that even though I style my hair, I touch it a lot and like to be able to brush through it with my hands without it sticking or becoming difficult due to stiffness from products. This texture spray really gives a wow lift to the hair, it adds volume both in height and thickness. BUT the most important thing – it doesn’t get stiff or give a product feeling in the hair. Gentle and mild cleansing
I have tried this gel cleanser for a few weeks and really like it. It is very mild and gentle on the skin and fragrance-free, which is a plus for me. However, I would prefer to use it in the morning or in the evening if I haven't worn makeup, as I find that not all makeup comes off even with double cleansing. Unfortunately it didn't suit my skin
I have been able to test this day cream with SPF 20 for a few weeks and I was excited to use a day cream with sun protection since I usually prefer to use them separately. My first impression of the day cream was that the packaging felt luxurious and the scent was nice. It has that classic sunscreen scent that I like. The texture felt light but a bit oily. Unfortunately, the result of this was not just glow, hydration, and sun protection, but it clogged my skin and I got some bigger pimples, which I usually don't get. My skin type is dry on the surface with a more oily T-zone. I have slightly larger pores, so something in combination with my skin unfortunately didn't work.
