A rich cream that smells heavenly of vanilla 🤍🍦
At first, I thought it could never be worth 499 kr. But just the bottle is really nice and feels a bit more exclusive, love the pump part. Easy to dose the right amount. 🩶 I have used the product for 3 weeks in my usual skincare routine as #lykotestpilot The cream feels rich, creamy, and buttery, but not sticky. Very moisturizing and plumps the skin in a pleasant way. Gives a nice glow immediately✨. For me, who often chooses lighter creams due to acne, it almost feels like a “forbidden fruit” to use 😅 It contains fats (but I think it absorbs well within about 10 minutes). 🧴 Was worried it would trigger my acne, so I introduced it in small amounts (1-2 pumps) about every other day. During the test, I got a few extra small pimples that might be due to the cream, but I’m not 100% sure since I can get pimples for various reasons (need to test longer). 🔴 Together with Emma S. Hyaluronic Essence, I got irritation (probably due to the combination of fragrance ingredients). But with my usual fragrance-free skincare, I haven’t experienced any irritation. 🤍 I totally fell in love with the SCENT and sometimes want to apply more because of it (have to resist😅). Soft, skin-close, warm. Think vanilla ice cream with a little soft white flower, in a balanced way. But powerful, smells for over an hour on the hand (good to know if you’re sensitive). But nice and cozy.🍦🤍 Skin type: 34 years old, acne-prone and combination: surface dry + a bit oily T-zone during the day. Has fine lines. Can sometimes be a bit sensitive, especially to strong scents on the face (but this time it was fine). Night routine
My skin and hair care routine in the evenings. Step 1: Oil cleansing with "Klairs Gentle Black Deep Cleansing Oil" & then "Dr. Ceuracle Tea Tree Purifine Cleansing Foam". Step 2: Pat in toner "Dr. Ceuracle Hyal reyouth", apply serum/oil "Royal Vita propolis 33 ampoule", moisturize with "Dr. Ceuracle Royal Vita propolis 33 cream" and finish by applying "Beauty of Joseon revive eye serum ginseng + retinal" under the eyes. Step 3: Once I've styled my hair, I spray "Bronza Hydrating Bronzing Mist" on my face and décolletage. 🫶🏻 In my hair, I apply "Kérastase genesis Serum Anti Chute Fortifiant" to the scalp in a cross pattern. Then I massage it in for a minute or two, depending on how much time I have. Then I take about 3-4 pumps of "Kérastase Nutritive 8H Overnight Serum" and apply it to the lengths. I brush through a few times and then make a braid to avoid damaging my hair too much while I sleep 🌸 What do your evening routines look like? As a #lykoinflutester, I have been testing this cream for about 4 weeks, morning/evening, and here comes my honest review: 🙌 About my skin: - A bit older and more on the dry side - Has started to lose some elasticity and its natural glow. - Some wrinkles and uneven skin tone. - A bit sensitive, especially on the cheeks. 🤔 Thoughts on the packaging: - Incredibly appealing and luxurious. - Glass and quite "heavy" so it feels good in the hand, no feeling that it will slip out of the hand. - A spatula is included, but I only use it for the first 3 times, then I "can’t be bothered" and just use my clean finger. 💫 Feel and results: - Such a lovely consistency, rich without being greasy. - Leaves no sticky residue, just makes the skin baby-soft and plump. A healthy natural glow. - Absorbs super quickly. - No negative reaction, no redness or breakouts. - Mild scent, absolutely no scent bomb. - Hard to say if it has reduced my wrinkles, but since it has a plumping effect, there is still a feeling that it does. - Works sooooo well under makeup, doesn’t clash with anything. - Long-lasting hydration, not just "on paper" but the hydration feels long-lasting. - A little goes a long way, so the cream will last a long time! - No negative reaction despite sensitive skin! 👋 I have tried to find something negative about this, but I can’t find anything bad. Many might be scared off by the price tag, but I still think the price is reasonable since it is so concentrated and will last a long time! There are also refills available for a smaller amount - so incredibly good!!! 🧴 I can’t help but be incredibly charmed by this luxurious cream. I tend to be a bit skeptical of expensive brands, but Shiseido is one of the few expensive brands that I think lives up to its reputation.
