This is an ampoule/serum that I have been using for a few weeks now and really like. The bottle is very pretty, made of frosted glass and has a proper dropper that never gets stuck. The serum itself is very light, barely thicker than water. It is green (probably from the matcha extract) but on the skin, it is not visible at all. It sinks in easily like a pancake, and it feels very gentle. I have a very oily skin type that easily gets irritated, acne-prone, and sensitive. I find that this product calms nicely, feels very "k-beauty". It’s not something that stings or anything, but feels cooling and a bit hydrating on the skin. I might not think that it has directly regulated my oil production, but it certainly hasn’t made things worse, and I can imagine that it will have an effect over time. It contains many nice ingredients, including salicylic acid, matcha extract, and a peptide complex, but you can read all about that in the product description higher up. I have squeezed this ampoule into my evening routine, as step two after cleansing my face. I use COSRX Peptide Skin Booster as the first step. I always look forward to applying this, absolutely because it is, as mentioned, lovely and cooling, but especially because it smells so incredibly good and fresh that I have to resist my impulse to drink a sip 😂. It doesn’t smell like perfume, but something plant-like (matcha?). I think the price is reasonable because it feels like a well-formulated product that you get. The only negative thing I can think of is a rather unimportant thing, but it is that the frosted bottle doesn’t look as nice after a while since you almost always touch it with fingers that have product on them.
