Known notes are as follows: Vanilla orchid 🌸 Ozone-like ☁️ Cocoa 🍫 Salt 🧂 My experience of the notes: Ozone-like ☁️ Buttery flowers 🌸 🧈 (for me, the first time I ever clearly notice buttery flowers) Salt 🧂 Bitter dark cocoa 🍫 Initially, at the first sniff, I think you sense a relatively fresh airiness. Quite quickly, the buttery flowers come through. After a short while on the skin, the salty and dark cocoa develop. It is not a chocolate scent. It is bitterness, unsweetened and dark. However, it does not develop much further after that, but stays at the salty cocoa. It is a luxurious, feminine, somewhat complex but determined scent! 💅 The scent is actually far from what I expected. I expected a more standard Gucci Flora DNA with intense vanilla. But what is delivered is something more exciting and unusual. It is further from a typical, generic perfume. It is absolutely not a standard floral scent. It has significantly more depth with several layers. The longevity is good. It lasts a few hours on the skin and a bit longer on clothes. At the first spray, I was not entirely sure what I thought of this. Since I like fresher, lighter scents. I needed to give it a few uses to get more attached to it. If you prefer fresh, airy, clean scents, you might find this heavier and "darker." Thanks to being #lykotestpilot, I got to try this gem from #gucci! I was very positively surprised by this – I previously owned the first one, the yellow Orchid. But I gave it away because it made me feel so sick, it was just salty and musty when I put it on!! Sooo when I sprayed this on me, I was sooo happy! I think this one is MUCH FRUITIER, FRESHER, AND DEEPER than the original! I think this ORCHID INTENSE is more multifaceted and has sooo many more nuances than the yellow original! This scent gives me a feeling of "when you stand and whisk hot chocolate." I think it’s a warm, safe, and cozy scent 🥰 Even my partner, who doesn’t like perfume at all, liked this! Something completely new to me as I have never before tried a fragrance where the floral notes last all day. The packaging is both beautiful and comes with a smooth and fine mist function. A wonderful scent that is just as lovely as the appearance of the bottle. I think the scent description matches well with how it actually smells. It opens with a fresh ozonic scent that quickly transitions to notes of warmer orchid vanilla. When it settles, the cocoa notes and amber become prominent. I can be sensitive to amber, but this one is not heavy at all. I think they captured the cocoa notes very well compared to other perfumes I've tried. If you like body lotion with a cocoa scent, you will love this! I think the perfume works as an evening scent year-round or a perfect autumn scent. It has good longevity, but maybe not as good as some heavier intense perfumes. For reference, I like sweet gourmand perfumes as well as floral and fruity notes. A scent that's too spicy can be difficult for me. Previous favorites include Victor&Rolf Flowerbomb, Dolce&Gabbana L’Imperatrice, and Lush’s Sticky Dates. 𝓙𝓾̈𝓻𝓿𝓮𝓷: Beautiful retro-inspired, extra weight in the bottle and cap, with gold details that feel exclusive 💐✨ The first spray I experienced a bit like “older lady perfume” at first and didn’t like it 👀 MY EXPERIENCE WITH THE SCENT AFTER 1 WEEK: ➕ Sophisticated, soft, feminine. Sweet, but not over the top. Cool vanilla and not heavy. Neither vanilla nor floral dominates. Well balanced. Love that you find many notes the more you wear it ☺️: Buttery flower, lightly sweet and salty, oriental, a bit spicy, airy fresh-air feeling, powdery, creamy. ➖ However, dry wood in the dry down on my skin which I dislike, feels a bit masculine 🪵 (appears a few hours after I sprayed concentrated on my wrist). If I instead spray light clouds more spread out over skin and clothes – I experience the scent as soft and feminine all the way through. ☁️ The perfume seems mild for the surroundings (asked friends standing a meter away, they didn’t seem to notice it, despite 3 sprays 😊). Positive is that it seems suitable as an everyday perfume (also for me who is sometimes sensitive to scents). 🧡 Not as strong as “intense” might suggest – but deep and warm. 𝓛𝓲𝓷𝓷𝓪 𝓛𝓲𝓷𝓷𝓪: For me, the best scent lasts about 2.5 hours, then the wood becomes more prominent. After 5 hours the scent is much weaker. 8 hours very weak, but I still feel it a bit on the skin. Gucci Flora Gorgeous Orchid Intense is a perfume that surprises. When I read the scent notes, I thought this would be a perfume I would either hate or love. Luckily, it turned out to be the latter.. I'm not a fan of vanilla in fragrances because I think they almost always become too sweet and cloying, giving me the feeling of an overdosed car air freshener. But that's not the case here at all; the vanilla feels elegant and fresh and is nicely balanced by the cocoa, which also gives it depth. Even though it is deep, I don't find it heavy or cloying at all. It feels like a perfume that fits perfectly in winter when it's chilly outside and you want to feel a bit cozy, because that's how you feel with this one; it's like a warm, lovely blanket to snuggle into. I'm quite sensitive to scents, and my migraine is often triggered by perfumes. But this one doesn't trigger it at all. The perfume has impressive longevity! If I spray a couple of sprays on in the morning, I can still smell it towards the evening. I have no other perfume in my collection that lasts as well as this one. The bottle is beautiful; I really like the look of all Gucci Flora perfumes. They maintain a consistent style but differ by their various colors. I also have Gardenia from the series, and they obviously look great next to each other on the shelf. Vanilla with Freshness
I got to try this perfume and will now share my thoughts about it🧡 What I like most about the perfume is that it has an incredibly beautiful design on both the packaging and the bottle. I LOVE the bottle, and it’s hard to throw away the nice packaging it comes in. When it comes to the scent, I think it has a clear vanilla scent, but with a certain freshness to it. There is some fruitiness/citrus that comes out upon application, but it disappears over time. I never wear vanilla perfumes as it’s not a favorite scent, but I still think this one works. It’s luxurious, feminine, and not at all “watery” like vanilla can be. This is an intense perfume, and that really fits it. The scent is strong and lasts a very long time after application. First of all, the bottle and packaging are incredibly luxurious and look absolutely stunning in the bathroom cabinet! I immediately fell head over heels for the deep, floral, and almost buttery scent, which feels both feminine and sexy. Unlike other perfumes I use, which are a bit "lighter," Gucci Flora has a completely different depth. It feels intense, warm, and very luxurious. If you want to smell rich, this is the right perfume for you! 🤭 Besides the incredible scent, the longevity is INSANE, it lasted all night and I even received several compliments on the perfume (which is not surprising!!). Another big plus is the application, which feels very well thought out. I had the chance to try Gucci Flora Gorgeous Orchid Eau de Parfum Intense, and this is actually my first perfume from Gucci. The first thing I was drawn to is the bottle and design. The colors are incredibly beautiful and really give a luxurious feel. The nice gold-colored cap also adds that little extra and makes the perfume feel very exclusive even as a decorative item. The scent itself I find soft, sweet, and at the same time fresh. It’s a fragrance that feels easy to wear and I think I will continue to use it. I personally really like mixing different perfumes, so-called layering, and I think this perfume is perfect for that. Already after a couple of sprays, you get a lovely sweetness on the skin, while the scent doesn’t feel too heavy. I also think the vanilla tones are soft and quite subtle. I appreciate that personally, as I like perfumes with vanilla – but preferably when the vanilla doesn’t take over the whole scent. A big plus is also that I find the perfume lasts a long time on the body. The scent stays for several hours, which I think is important when investing in a perfume. In summary, I am very pleased with Gucci Flora Gorgeous Orchid. It’s a perfume that combines the sweet and fresh in a soft way. It feels feminine, luxurious, and easy to wear, while also working very well to use together with other perfumes. I got to try this exciting perfume from Gucci, which is #lykotestpilot for #gucci 🖤🙏. And I hope this will be the starting point to share more here again 💫 EXPECTATIONS: Exclusive, dark and warmly feminine. With deep gourmand notes mainly of coffee and cocoa, a bit of spiciness from tonka bean and to sense – the flower unknown to me – wisteria ☕️🍫🪻 (Though I had missed that amaretto, which is also in it, has an almond note). PACKAGING: ✔️ The bottle design feels premium and luxurious with weight. Even the cap has weight (at first hard to open, you have to really pull! 😅).
