My heart has been completely stolen by the Face Formula Niactil 4% product. I found this gem in a 30 ml size in this year’s Mind Glown Advent Calendar, and another product in 100 ml was in the 24K Advent Calendar. 🧴 Regarding the packaging, the product comes in a handy tube with a very nice blue color. It’s made of soft, comfortable plastic and has a practical click closure, which makes daily use very easy. The product has a thick, gel-like formula, is efficient, and only a minimal amount is needed per application, so it lasts much longer. It absorbs quickly without leaving any sticky layer on the skin. The serum has a milky color. 👃 The scent of the product is gentle and unobtrusive, very pleasant, making application a pure pleasure. At the start of using this Face Formula Niactil serum, just during application and assessing its consistency, the product immediately reminded me of a serum I previously tested from Benton – namely the Korean Benton Guava Moisture Soothing serum. I found that serum in Benton’s Advent Calendar. Both products have a very similar formula and show similar, strongly moisturizing and soothing effects. But the real magic happens when we combine them in one ritual and create a moisturizing COMBO❣️ 🧴Main features: Active ingredient: 4% niacinamide (vitamin B3), which brightens discolorations, reduces redness, tightens pores, and regulates sebum production. Glycerin (4%) – a strong humectant that binds water in the epidermis and deeply moisturizes the skin. Squalane – a light emollient compatible with human sebum that rebuilds the lipid barrier and smooths the epidermis without weighing it down. According to the manufacturer, the serum provides glow and hydration (Glow & Hydration). Although the manufacturer mainly dedicates this gel to oily, combination, and acne-prone skin due to the regulating properties of 4% niacinamide, it works phenomenally on dry, mature, and dehydrated skin – exactly like mine. For me, the key is applying them together in a specific order – after toner, I apply essence first, then gently pat in Benton serum, and after a short moment, I apply the Niactil 4% hydrogel. I finish the routine with a cream. These two products applied one after the other create an absolutely heavenly combo on the skin. Thanks to this brilliant combination, we amplify and strengthen the moisturizing and protective effects of both serums😍 Additionally, it’s worth answering the question of whether daily use of such a set clogs the skin? In my case, the risk is minimal. My dry and dehydrated skin literally drinks up this moisture. Dry skin produces very little natural sebum and needs lots of water and humectants, so this gel combo absorbs almost completely on me and doesn’t clog me despite daily, nightly care🥰 And here’s an important note: for someone with oily skin, such a gel, layered dose could cause problems and clogging, so I don’t recommend this combo to other skin types. This box mainly features a beautiful, very spacious, and excellently made pink satin makeup bag that immediately stole my heart. The price-to-content ratio here is simply amazing. The set was focused on fragrances. I found perfume bottles in it that unfortunately were not my style at all, so I immediately gave them to close ones – scent is after all a very personal thing. However, the rest of the skincare is an absolute hit 🥰 Inside are fantastic products, a shower mousse, and the luxurious Blossom Souffle body cream from By Lyko smell amazing, and their rich formulas wonderfully hydrate my dry skin. We also have the iconic pink sheet mask from Starskin and a super fluffy Sundae shower mousse that looks like whipped cream and makes bathing pure pleasure. Logistical errors were fully corrected: 1️⃣ The missing bag no. 7 was sent to me 😊 Inside I found the promised, iconic mini NARS blush and a sample of L’Occitane oil (I’m adding a photo to the gallery!). 😍 2️⃣ For the torn seam of the collective bag, I received a 75 PLN voucher for my next purchase from the store! 💸 Huge plus to Lyko for a professional approach to premium customers and quick problem resolution. The cosmetic content still deserves a strong 4/5, and now the bad taste from logistics has been completely erased! 💜✨ ⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️ Regarding the cosmetic content itself, there are good premium brands like Natasha Denona, Oribe, Dr Dennis Gross, Paula’s Choice, and Elixir Cosmeceuticals, which suit my mature and dry skin and demanding curls well. All the cosmetics I found inside have perfect, long expiration dates. Unfortunately, the joy of unboxing was completely spoiled by the terrible packaging quality and quality control in the warehouse. The luxurious, plum-colored collective bag was forcibly and thoughtlessly squeezed into a too-small box. Under the enormous pressure during transport, the side seam of the bag simply tore, leaving a large, unsightly hole 🥹 Worse, in my copy, the entire bag with number 7 was missing, in which the iconic NARS blush should have been (instead of 28 planned products, I have 27) 💔 Because of this, the whole thing looks like a reject from sorting, not a premium product for so much money, because I think this set is not worth that much. Additionally, I think that with such a high calendar price, the manufacturer unnecessarily included a plastic massaging gadget inside. Such devices are, for me, just fillers – not everyone will use it, and the quality of workmanship is far below the rest. In my opinion, a more useful cosmetic like a luxury serum should have been included 🤩 Of course, the issue with the missing cosmetic and the holey bag has been reported to the Polish customer service office, and I am waiting for their response. Logistics and customer treatment are a big minus, which reduces the value of the whole set.
