Good mousse that defines the curls. Apply to wet hair and scrunch into the hair. Should not be brushed out. When the hair is dry with a diffuser or air-dried, the hair should be "squeezed" out. Headon Calm Conditioner
This line is gold!! I was initially a bit skeptical about the conditioner since the consistency is quite thin. I need moisture to avoid too much frizz in my curls. And I'm used to moisture = thick consistency. But as soon as I apply the conditioner, it feels like magic in my hair😭 I brush my hair in the shower with conditioner or treatment to be able to detangle it. And it’s so easy to detangle with this conditioner. Even though the consistency is thin and light, it provides moisture and LOTS of shine. I’m so impressed. It also keeps the curls light and really doesn’t weigh them down. Smells really good too. Just like the shampoo, it smells fresh and has a unique, natural scent. Not overwhelming at all. Yesss, this was really good!! I was positively surprised by the whole experience of both shampoo and conditioner. First and foremost, it makes my curly hair so airy and clean! Especially when using curl products that need to be washed out to avoid too much buildup. It really cleansed thoroughly without drying out my hair at all. And secondly, it smells insanely good. The whole series has the same scent, which is very fresh. A mild scent that feels natural. Known notes are as follows: Vanilla orchid 🌸 Ozone-like ☁️ Cocoa 🍫 Salt 🧂 My experience of the notes: Ozone-like ☁️ Buttery flowers 🌸 🧈 (for me, the first time I ever clearly notice buttery flowers) Salt 🧂 Bitter dark cocoa 🍫 Initially, at the first sniff, I think you sense a relatively fresh airiness. Quite quickly, the buttery flowers come through. After a short while on the skin, the salty and dark cocoa develop. It is not a chocolate scent. It is bitterness, unsweetened and dark. However, it does not develop much further after that, but stays at the salty cocoa. It is a luxurious, feminine, somewhat complex but determined scent! 💅 The scent is actually far from what I expected. I expected a more standard Gucci Flora DNA with intense vanilla. But what is delivered is something more exciting and unusual. It is further from a typical, generic perfume. It is absolutely not a standard floral scent. It has significantly more depth with several layers. The longevity is good. It lasts a few hours on the skin and a bit longer on clothes. At the first spray, I was not entirely sure what I thought of this. Since I like fresher, lighter scents. I needed to give it a few uses to get more attached to it. If you prefer fresh, airy, clean scents, you might find this heavier and "darker." Love this shampoo!! Really cleans the hair. I use it regularly to really get rid of product buildup and detox. Alternate with other shampoos. But every time I have used this, my curls are at their best because the hair becomes so airy and light. Small exfoliating grains in it provide a gentle scrub on the scalp. The texture is lovely and lathers just right. As with all other shampoos, I usually do 2 rounds with this. Dermalogica Pro-Collagen Banking Water Cream
I got the opportunity to test this product and review it. And what I’ve experienced so far with this product is the following: A cooling and light but moisturizing cream due to its light formula. I find it very pleasant to apply, it really feels "watery" and cooling. I received this just in time for a sun holiday. And it’s perfect to apply after a day at the beach to hydrate and cool down the skin. However, I think it’s not quite as moisturizing as I had hoped or as I generally prefer in creams. But for having the light consistency it has, it is moisturizing. On the other hand, it contains essential oils, just like the other products I got to test from Dermalogica. The scent is mild and not overwhelming. But unfortunately, I generally don’t think it belongs in facial products. This is because my skin has struggled with perioral dermatitis before, and essential oils and fragrance can easily trigger it. I had the opportunity to try and review this lovely serum from #dermalogica. At the first pump, I immediately felt that the texture is the type of serum I like. It has a slightly loose gel-like consistency. It arrived just in time for a sunny vacation, so I apply it in the evening after a day in the sun to restore moisture, support the skin’s cell renewal, and also in the morning. It’s a pity that it contains essential oils. Like other products from Dermalogica, essential oils are used in the formula, which unfortunately contributes to skin irritation. The scent is mild and not overwhelming in any way. But unfortunately, I generally don’t think it belongs in facial products. This is because my skin has struggled with perioral dermatitis before, and essential oils and fragrance can easily irritate. So far, it hasn’t caused any irritation from the oils. I think the skin feels smooth and soft. But reducing fine lines probably requires continuous long-term use. I look forward to seeing what it can do for my signs of aging in the long run. I have fine lines that I would like to smooth out and reduce. But the price is high, and I’m unsure if it’s worth the money to buy another one. Dermalogica Dynamic Skin Recovery SPF50
I got the opportunity to try and review this day cream with SPF 50. The consistency is perfect. I really like this type of cream. It is soft and a little bit oily in texture but leaves a natural glow. It arrived just in time for a sun vacation, so I apply this in the morning before sun exposure and supplement after a few hours with regular sunscreen. I have not yet experienced any sign of burning when I have only had this on my face. It feels very comfortable on the skin, provides good moisture and good SPF. However, it is a pity that it contains essential oils and "fragrance". The scent is mild and reminds a bit of tea and is really not overwhelming in any way. But unfortunately, I generally don’t think it belongs in facial products. This is because my skin has struggled with perioral dermatitis before, and essential oils and fragrance can easily trigger it. The price is a bit high. There are other creams that give a similar feeling at a lower price. But this one is supposed to be deeply effective and counteract breakdown in the skin.
