Winter Tired Barrier
Good morning winter tired skin with eczema on eyelids and around the mouth... 😅 How do you maintain a good barrier during winter but still "watch out" to work on pigmentation and fine lines when the skin isn't exposed to the sun? 🤔 The last few weeks I've only been using hyaluronic acid and squalane. No further effect
The dark purple spray has settled in the edges of the packaging, which makes me immediately concerned that it might leak if I pack it down. But it doesn't. The color also makes me a bit worried considering that I will spray it on dry hair. When I test the product, I spray it all over my hair and brush it out with a hairbrush. Unfortunately, I don't experience any greater effect from the spray, even though I've tested it in different amounts. Softening and color-correcting
The dark purple conditioner has a rather loose consistency compared to "regular" conditioners, but feels like a good consistency when I compare it to other silver conditioners. The scent is sweet but fresh. When using it, it's easy to distribute the conditioner evenly through the lengths, and the hair softens immediately, which removes any tangles. I have Scandinavian hair with many fine strands that often clump together at the nape. This conditioner softens and distributes the hair nicely while I get a good effect from it lightening yellow pigmentation. Even and a lot of results already after 1 use
The dark purple shampoo has a slightly runnier consistency than regular shampoos. I find the scent sweet but still fresh, which I like. I apply the product to my hair after first detoxing from any metals. This is to give the best conditions for the silver shampoo to neutralize the yellow tones that the detox shampoo cannot wash out. I then let the silver shampoo sit for about 1 minute and rinse it out. I have tested finishing with both regular conditioner and silver conditioner and find that I get very good results regardless. The silver shampoo has a real effect on the tone of my hair, and I get an even and soft result. My hair is Scandinavian with many fine strands and normally moisturized. Pretty okay, a bit hard to apply in the right place
The brush has long, sparse, and incredibly soft bristles, along with a handle that has a really lovely weight. The overall feel is luxurious and well thought out. I like the colors. The fact that the brush is so airy makes it a bit difficult to control the application if you're not very light-handed. I feel like the brush spreads the product a bit wider than I want, especially for the bronzer that I want to have control over. It works better for blush that is patted in than for the bronzer that I apply with sweeping motions. When you take the time, you can achieve a very soft and “airbrushed” result, but that requires being very light-handed. In summary, this is a brush of high quality and luxurious feel, but it requires a light hand and a bit of patience. Good for you if you like a natural, blended finish. Takes a little longer – but gives a really nice and professional glow
When I open the packaging, I immediately get a luxurious feeling. The brush has a solid handle with good weight, and the feather-light, sparse bristles feel soft against the skin. However, I find that the bristles have a bit of trouble picking up product from my highlighter. With a denser and slightly firmer brush, it goes significantly easier. A tip that has worked for me is to pinch the bristles together a bit before I sweep the brush in the powder, then I pick up more product. The application itself becomes very nice if you work with a light hand, but it takes its time. You need to work for a long time to build up the glow. Once you are done, the result is super professional and even, so it is absolutely worth the effort when you want to be extra careful. I use highlighter every day and prefer a denser brush for everyday use for quicker application. Beautiful shimmering shimmer
When I open the packaging, I am greeted by a perfect pink tone with fine shimmer. Both the blush and the compact are very appealing. I like the mirror in the compact that helps with touch-ups during the day. The blush is very low-pigmented, which works well for me just for a blush. It’s easy to achieve a blended and natural effect with it. I have dry skin and like to use a cream blush under the powder blush for better adherence. This product is perfect for that as the finish is slightly shimmery but absolutely not glittery, which highlights exactly the effect I want.
