A wonderfully scented hair serum!
I have been testing Kérastase Genesis Serum Anti Chute Fortifiant 90 ml for a few weeks now with Smartson. My first impression of the product was that the bottle was sturdy and larger than I initially thought. It was also very economical; you really don’t need much product. (You’re supposed to take one dose, meaning a pipette up to the marking, but that was too much for my taste, and I barely needed half, and it was still enough) The serum smells wonderful and didn’t make my hair greasy at all, which it easily can. I have used the serum every evening and massaged it in with a massage brush, which is very nice. A lovely routine before going to bed. I can see a noticeable difference in how much hair I’m losing and would say that my hair both feels and looks fuller, which I most likely believe is from the serum! Exceeded my expectations, and I am super satisfied. Extra plus that it smelled so fresh and good! The only negative I see with the product is the price, quite steep. But if you want an economical and good product, I still think it can be worth it. I will most likely buy the product again! I have now had the chance to test Kérastase Premiére Serum Filler Fondamental Hair Serum for a little while and would absolutely give it a thumbs up! I have hair with a lot of volume and have previously done light highlights a few times. My hair easily gets frizzy, and therefore it was exciting to see what this product could do for my hair. I really like the packaging, the scent, and the consistency of it, but I thought it would give more results than it did for my hair. The hair becomes softer and a bit less frizzy, but not “wow” as I thought. Long lasting
As a testpilot I got to try the new Infaillible Skin Ink 2-in-1 Foundation Concealer Hybrid by lorealparis. This comes in a 15 ml concealer like packaging with a thick doe foot applicator. I like the red metallic design. The shade was not quite right for me and was too warm toned and orange however I got it to work anyway. It requires fast application as it dries down so fast and then it doesn’t move. It’s also a bit harder to cleanse with makeup remover balms obviously. The finish is matte and it has medium coverage. If you work fast and apply the product evenly, it sits all day and looks good. For me this was too dark to use as a concealer under eye but as spot concealer it works good but I wouldn’t layer it much as it can enhance texture. The price for 15ml is a bit high I would say. L’Oréal Paris Infallible Skin Ink – Foundation & Concealer in one?
The consistency is thinner than I expected – almost like ink (hint: “Skin Ink” is not a random name!). It glides on easily, but dries quickly, so I quickly learned to work in sections. One side at a time, otherwise it sticks where it lands. Is it perfect? Not quite. I have combination skin with some drier areas around my nose, and there it could sometimes settle a bit unattractively if I didn’t moisturize properly beforehand. I really recommend using a good primer or moisturizer underneath if you have a similar skin type. And no, 48 hours? I haven’t tested sleeping in it (and you shouldn’t either!) – but it held up beautifully for 12-14 hours without getting shiny or “running”. Unfortunately, I haven't noticed any difference in growth so far, so if you're looking for products that are supposed to increase hair growth, these don't seem to be the most promising. However, I liked the products as "regular" shampoo/conditioner, the consistency was good and lathered as I like it, and the scent was nice but not too strong. However, for the price, I would never buy shampoo for over 100kr when I can find comparable ones for half the price. But my hair was clean, shiny, and nice after washing, and if it turns out that it also starts to show results in growth after longer use, it would absolutely be worth the money in my opinion! I have tested the L’Oréal Elvive Growth Booster series for almost a month. I think that hair loss has decreased. I also think that I’m starting to get new hair strands growing out, which is super positive. I have uncolored, normally thick hair, I have had a lot of hair loss, both in the shower and while brushing. This has decreased radically, which means I will buy this again and it gives good results and I am very positive about the price for the method. The packaging for all the products looks different, which makes it easy to tell them apart. They are light and easy to use. I have had the opportunity to test this product for a longer period of time. In my opinion, this is a good shampoo that has reduced my hair loss. Smells good and is suitable for the whole family. It lathers and feels nice. In the shower, I can experience that it feels more damaged than other shampoos. I have now been testing products from Elvita Growth Booster, L'Oréal Paris together with Smartson for about a month! (I received these products for free for evaluation) I have tested both shampoo, conditioner & serum, which has been very fun as I have tested similar products but significantly more expensive before. The first time I used the serum, I reacted to the fact that it smelled very strong and was a little afraid of a reaction. But no, my scalp did not react at all and now I have gotten used to the scent. I have applied the serum to my scalp after showering and then massaged it in for about 2-4 minutes each time. I have used it from time to time on the other days as well, but since my hair easily becomes and looks greasy, most of the time it has been before washing my hair, that is, either the night before or the day it is to be washed. The serum ran out faster than the shampoo and conditioner in the same series, so at the end of the test period I continued without it. I still think the serum has done something for my hair, as I can see some new hair strands and feel that my hair also feels fuller! The only downside was that my hair easily looked greasy. If I blow-dried my hair after washing and applying the serum, it looked less greasy, but on the days I skipped it, I thought it looked a little greasy already the next day. A good conditioner!
I have now been testing products from Elvita Growth Booster, L'Oréal Paris together with Smartson for about a month! (I received these products for free for evaluation) I have tested both shampoo, conditioner & serum, which has been very fun as I have tested similar products but significantly more expensive before. My first impression of the conditioner was that it smelled good, detangled the hair, and made it manageable & soft during washing! The product is quite concentrated, and you don't need much. However, I have a bit of trouble understanding what a Growth Booster is supposed to do in the lengths, but it is a good conditioner! I have typically Scandinavian "fine" & thin hair, and for me, the conditioner has worked well! It has detangled knots and made my hair feel hydrated! I can't see any major difference in my hair when I use this and the more expensive products, so it feels more worthwhile to continue with this. If it has made my hair grow at all, I don't think so, as it is only supposed to be used in the lengths! But together with the shampoo & serum, I think the whole kit is great! My first impression of the shampoo was that it smelled good, lathered well, and was economical. I always wash my hair twice when I wash it, and I have done that now as well. It smells good, is easy to use, and I like the formula of the product. My hair tends to feel and look greasy, which I unfortunately thought it did the day after I washed it. With that said, I want to point out that I have typically Scandinavian "fine" hair and my hair tends to look greasy easily. I can't see any major difference in my hair when I use this and the more expensive products, so it feels more worthwhile to continue with these! When it comes to results, it's hard to say, but! My hair feels fuller and I think there have been quite a few new hair strands, especially at the hairline.
