A berry Escada-inspired aquatic body mist 🍓🫐🚿
Received a sample of Biotherm's new body mist and had high expectations from good reviews. But no, unfortunately not for me! Smells roughly like a typical “berry raspberry Escada scent” but diluted with aquatic notes (watery fresh), and I didn’t think the two types of scent matched that well 😅 But I’ve also never found a berry scent from Escada that I fell for, and I don’t think I like raspberry in perfume – if you usually like them, you’ll probably like this one from Biotherm more than I do 🩷🩵 Notes according to me: - Mostly raspberry - Aquatic / clean water - Just a little citrus Good price for the amount 100 ml and strong at first (almost like a perfume), but gets quite weak within an hour. Really bubbly, sweet and fruity and reminds me a bit of a drink. If you have tried Kayali Sparkling Lychee or Candied Lychee by The 7 Virtues, there are similarities. But I think the lychee/peach scent is clearer than the flowers in CLEANS, and it is lighter and not so deep. But it dries down a bit woody ☺️. 👄 rimmel – Butter Me Up is not available at Lyko, but reminds me of Nudestix Hydra-Peptide Lip Butter in texture (but without the cooling sensation). Such a rich buttery, thicker formula with lots of moisture, shine, and transparent color. Without feeling sticky. I like it and also the scent (sweet fruity / candy-like) 🍬. I fell head over heels for the combination of Glöd Sophie Elise Body Butter Marshmallow and Body Mist Marshmallow! The body butter provides lots of moisture and leaves the skin soft and well cared for, while the body mist adds that little extra. To me, they smell like marshmallow, vanilla, a bit of strawberry, and a hint of coconut – warm, sweet, and really nice. This isn’t a heavy perfume-like scent, but more like a soft cloud of sweet treats. I love using the body butter after showering and finishing with a few sprays of the body mist. It is soft and incredibly warm in scent, my first impression was really fudge! Incredibly sweet in scent, and when it settles, I can sense hints of nuts. 💭 This scent of all is the softest and gentlest, I would say. Hey! I have the honor of being #lykotestpilot for these 3 lovely scents from Kylie Jenner 💗 🧡 When I read about the notes in Sweet Éclair, I knew right away that I would like it. It has hints of chocolate and vanilla but also something citrusy which makes it smell incredibly fresh but also young, it reminds me of summer! The scent lasts so well on my skin and I really wish it came in perfume instead of mist. 💭 The reason it gets 4/5 stars is that it is somewhat strong for a mist. So one spray lasts a long time, I made the mistake of spraying multiple times which became overwhelming. I have had the honor of becoming #lykotestpilot for 3 lovely scents from Kylie Jenner 💗 ❕ My first reaction to the product was really the size of these bottles, they were bigger than I thought and the packaging itself is so so pretty! Very aesthetic. ✨ 💗 A big plus was also that the spray bottle sprays such a perfect and even mist. 💭 The scent of Vanilla Dew is absolutely magical, it smells like a vanilla dream and I was so shocked at how perfect a vanilla scent could smell. When you first spray on your wrist and smell it right away, it does smell a bit like alcohol, but I still found that it dissipated immediately once it settled. So it was nothing that bothered me. 🦋 Personally, I love fresh vanilla scents and that is a note I look for in other mists. I find that the scent lingers for a long time as I can still smell hints of the scent afterwards and especially on my clothes. I have tested all of Kylie Jenner's Hair & Body Mists, and of course, Caramel Cloud is one of them 😍 My first reaction when I received the package was how big the bottles were. They contain a full 236 ml, which is very generous with product. It should also be noted how nice the mist is, it sprays evenly distributed. The scent is strong where the caramel notes dominate, it is also very heavy. Unfortunately, this is the one I like the least, but if you love caramel scents, this can definitely be something for you. There is something about the scent that makes me feel a bit nauseous, so I unfortunately can't use it at all. The longevity is very good. From experience, similar products don't last particularly long on skin and clothes, but this one lasted for several hours after I sprayed it on. I don't agree with the other reviews, I myself have a pretty sensitive nose and don't like heavy scents, and this one actually works! Unfortunately no favorite.
As a Lyko influencer tester, I have tried this body mist from The Body Shop, but unfortunately, I can't get it to work for me due to the scent. The mist comes in a glass bottle, which is nice, and it dispenses a suitable amount of product with each pump, which I like. Unfortunately, the scent doesn't work for me; it doesn't smell like shea but more chemical and leaning towards a masculine scent, which doesn't work for me at all. Very unfortunate.
