Almost a home run
I’ve had the chance to try the Sky High mascara from Maybelline for a while. A very popular mascara that has a good reputation beforehand🙌 On my lashes, it gave that extra black impression, easy to build up in many layers for extra volume without clumping too much. The brush separated the lashes really well. However, I found it a bit difficult to get to the outer edge of my lashes?🫤 Otherwise, overall impression..4/5 ⭐️. It held up nicely all day but was a bit crumbly under the eyes in the evening. I have tested this product as #lykoinflutester ✨ Full disclosure; I have used this mascara before as well, but this time I have exclusively used this one over a few weeks. When it comes to mascara, I only use "cheap" mascaras, and my favorites are from Essence, Loreal, and - not least - Maybelline! Maybelline is especially good at mascara, even though they have many products that are on my top list in other categories as well. Lash Sensational Sky High mascara has an interesting brush; it is very narrow, flexible, and a bit long, which allows for easy and precise application. The formula itself is a bit wet, which can transfer to the eyelid during application (at least when I do it). Fortunately, it is easy to remove as soon as it dries. The result is laaaange lashes with good separation! It is not very volumizing; I would say it gives medium volume. Therefore, I would say this is a very nice everyday mascara that provides definition and a lot of length 🩷 What takes away a star for me is the brush itself. Affordable
Sky High Mascara is undoubtedly a very affordable mascara. It stays in place all day without smudging or falling down under the eyes, which is a big plus in everyday life. The flexible brush makes application smooth and reaches even the shorter lashes without clumping. The result gives nice, separated lashes with good length, but I don't notice a huge difference compared to other mascaras in the same price range. The effect is pretty and natural rather than dramatic. The lashes feel light and comfortable thanks to the soft formula, and the mascara works well even for sensitive eyes. Can't get the lashes to stay up
I was really excited to try this because the waterproof version is my go-to mascara! The brush is really nice to use since the "hairs" on the brush aren't too long, so you avoid applying too much product and getting a clumpy result. The lashes are well separated, and you can easily apply multiple layers without them sticking together. It dries quickly on the lashes but holds up well in the packaging and doesn't get ruined quickly. The only negative for me is definitely that this makes my lashes fall as soon as I apply it, so to speak. Now I also have lashes that are very light and struggle to hold a curl. I have had the Sky High Mascara as a big favorite for several years and I still really like it. It gives fantastic length, separates the lashes nicely, and gives a fresh and open impression without clumping. Long lashes and easy to remove!
👁️I have as #lykoinflutester tested this mascara from #maybelline! 👁️ Sky High is a mascara that I really think delivers, especially if you're looking for length and separation rather than extreme volume. The brush is slim and very flexible, which makes application easy and allows you to reach even the shortest lashes. Already with the first layer, I get noticeably longer lashes, and the result looks very even and separated. It's easy to build up with more layers without the lashes clumping or feeling heavy, which I appreciate. The lashes maintain their shape and still look defined even after several layers. The mascara doesn't give that really dramatic volume, but the lashes look long, well-combed, and pretty, which makes it very suitable for everyday use or if you have short/stubby lashes. The durability is very good. It stays nice throughout the day without flaking significantly and without leaving marks under the eyes, despite my watery eyes and oily eyelids. The lashes don't feel stiff, but remain soft and light even after many hours. It's also extremely easy to wash off with warm water and a mild cleanser! The mascara contains no strong perfume, which has been great for me with sensitive eyes. And as mentioned earlier, the lashes are very soft and flexible even after the mascara has dried, so I never feel discomfort. A very reliable mascara that does what it’s supposed to do, and one of the best lengthening mascaras I’ve tested in this price range. Easy to build up
I have tested the Maybelline Lash Sensational Sky High Mascara, and this has quickly become a favorite in my makeup bag. I have very light and quite straight lashes from before, so I am always on the lookout for a mascara that actually gives visible results. This separates the lashes and provides both nice length and volume without clumping. The best part is that I get the desired result very quickly, and I don’t have to stand there for a long time building layer upon layer. Perfect when you’re short on time. My go-to mascara every day
This is a mascara I have used for many years. New favorite
I have used the same mascara for many years. I have tried different types, but always gone back. I need a mascara that gives both length and volume. That’s why it was very exciting to try this one as #lykoinflutester. I have long, but light lashes. Therefore, I want a mascara that brings out the potential of my "invisible" lashes. I think this one absolutely does. With age, it has also become a bit thinner in the rows on the lash front. I therefore think it’s best to use a brush with dense bristles to get more volume, separate the lashes, and catch the short lash hairs as well. With this one, I miss a bit denser bristles, but it works well. I like that I can work well with the lashes with the flexible brush and that the wand is thin at the end. This way, I can get the inner lashes without getting product on the skin. The mascara holds well throughout the day and is easily removed with eye makeup remover. All in all, a very good mascara! As a Lyko influencer, I got to try this mascara! Little did Lyko know that this was already a favorite 😌 before, I only bought mascaras from more expensive brands, but after trying this one from Maybelline, I understand that mascaras can be of good quality without costing an arm and a leg! It's easy to apply, and like with several other mascaras, I find they are best a few weeks after opening when the product has become a bit drier and is even easier to work with, especially if you want to build it up. In the pictures here, I haven't used an eyelash curler, even though it might look that way 😚 It doesn't smudge, holds well all day, and is easy to remove again with makeup remover.
