Make Up Store Iconic Radiance Highlighter in the shade Pearl Glow is exactly the bright highlighter I've been looking for. The packaging feels like a real upgrade compared to their previous ones, so simple yet luxurious and pretty. The formula is a perfect blend of cream and powder that melts into the skin without sitting on top, and it's also really pigmented. It works just as well in the inner corner of the eye as under the brow or on the cheekbones, and I love that it also looks pretty as a shimmery eyeshadow on the eyelid. The result is truly a super nice glow that looks so glowy and luxurious every time. I really have nothing bad to say about this product. It's affordable, easy to work with, and gives exactly that bright, incredibly beautiful glow I've been after. Glowy blush that melts in perfectly 💖
Makeup Store Iconic Luster Blush in the shade Frosted Pink is truly super pretty! The packaging feels like a real upgrade compared to their previous ones, so luxurious and stylish while still being simple. In the pictures, the pink shade looked a bit cooler than in reality where the shade was somewhat warmer than I expected, but still very pretty. The formula is a perfect blend of cream and powder that makes it melt into the skin and is easy to work with. It works well with both a fluffy and a firmer brush, but I prefer the firmer one a bit more to pick up the pigment even though the product is definitely buildable. It reminds me a bit of Caia's glow blush but is slightly less pigmented. It lasts all day and gives a really nice glow without becoming glittery, which is a big plus. The only thing that brings down the rating for me is that I wish it was a bit more pigmented because then it would have been full marks. That could be because I chose the lightest shade, but regardless, I use this one very often and it has truly become a favorite in my routine since I got it home. A new favorite in my makeup routine ✨🤎
Honestly, I was really positively surprised by the Makeup Store Iconic Glow Bronzer, I have the shade Terracotta. The packaging feels like a real upgrade compared to their previous ones, so simple yet luxurious and pretty. The formula is absolutely amazing and feels like a perfect blend of cream and powder that makes it melt into the skin so beautifully. The bronzer itself is just the right amount of pigmented and super easy to build up. I notice that it becomes even more pigmented when I use a slightly firmer brush, which I love because it allows you to customize the result exactly how you want. It sets beautifully on the skin and the glow is perfect, not too shimmery but just really nice and fresh. It actually reminds me a bit of Caia's glow bronzer, but this one is both more pigmented and much easier to work with. Understanding the hype ⭐️
I have very sensitive and combination skin with rosacea and I tend to be extremely careful about what I use on my face. There aren’t many products that work without irritating or causing new problems, so I was actually a bit skeptical before I tried this one. But wow, what a positive surprise. Cicaplast Balm B5+ has really stepped right into my skincare routine and already feels like a staple in my bathroom cabinet! The consistency is quite thick but in that nice way that feels soothing and protective. I love to apply a really thick layer all over my face in the evening before bed, it feels almost like my skin is getting a little overnight mask. When I wake up in the morning, my skin looks so much more hydrated and I get a lovely glow that doesn’t feel sticky or heavy. Just soft and plump. In winter, I usually get dry, especially in the T-zone where I otherwise easily flake and turn red. This cream has really made a difference. I stay hydrated all day without feeling oily, and I haven’t gotten a single pimple from it despite it being richer in formula, which is very rare for me. The best part is almost that it doesn’t irritate my rosacea at all. No extra redness, no stinging, and my skin just feels calm and nice. After using it for a while, I really understand the hype around this product. It does exactly what I want a barrier cream to do and a little more. As a test pilot, I have now used Matrix Glow Mania Glow Gatekeeper Glow Sealing Leave In Conditioner after every wash on towel-dried hair for a couple of weeks, and this is my impression after repeated uses. 🫧 A bit about my hair: straight and quite fine, bleached, and the lengths easily become dry. 🧡 Scent and usage Just like the shampoo and conditioner, this leave-in has a fresh and uplifting citrus scent that makes it lovely to use in the shower. The spray bottle is large and very handy, it's easy to distribute the product evenly through towel-dried hair. I use it both as a conditioning spray, nourishment, and heat protection before I blow-dry my hair, and it really does the job without weighing my hair down. 🧡 Feel after washing The hair becomes very easy to detangle immediately after application. The spray makes the lengths soft and easy to style, while it feels like the hair gets a nice extra care. I immediately notice that the hair becomes shiny and looks healthier. 🧡 Color preserving and shine After use, the hair looks healthier and becomes very shiny and nice. As a bonus, it also works as heat protection up to 230°C, so I can just blow-dry my hair right after washing without needing to apply an extra heat protectant besides this, so nice! 🧡 Summary This is a product I really like and that feels like a real star in the Glow Mania series. Easy to use thanks to the spray bottle, fresh scent, heat protection, and a really nice result on the hair as it becomes shiny, easy to detangle, and more vibrant. For me, it's a definite repurchase, and I think the price feels reasonable for what you get. The consistency is just creamy enough and easy to distribute in the hair, and it feels smooth and simple to use without weighing the hair down. 🧡 Feel after washing After rinsing, I immediately notice that the hair becomes very easy to detangle. The brush glides through without any problems, and the hair feels clean and airy. However, I do not experience any particular softness, nourishment, or shine that one sometimes expects from a conditioner. 🧡 Color preserving and shine Just like with the shampoo, the hair looks fresh, but I notice no clear effect on color preservation or shine. For me, with bleached lengths that easily become dry, this conditioner does not suffice as the sole care to give the hair extra nourishment or luster unfortunately. 🧡 Summary Matrix Glow Mania Color Protecting Conditioner does its job as an everyday conditioner, the hair becomes easy to detangle and feels clean and airy. But it does not provide any noticeable shine or caring effect, so for drier or more demanding hair types, it is not sufficient in my opinion. A pretty okay shampoo!
As a test pilot, I have now used Matrix Glow Mania Color Protecting Shampoo at every wash for a couple of weeks, and this is my impression after repeated uses. 🫧 Briefly about my hair: straight and quite fine, bleached, and the lengths easily become dry. 🧡 Scent and usage The shampoo smells fresh and distinctly of citrus, it’s not too strong of a scent so it’s fine to use whatever body cream or perfume you want afterwards without it becoming a weird mix. The consistency is creamy, it lathers up well and is easy to distribute through the hair. It doesn’t weigh down my fine hair structure, which is a big plus. 🧡 Feel after washing After rinsing, the hair feels clean, airy, and definitely fresh. I find that the lengths don’t become particularly soft or rehydrated by the shampoo alone since my ends tend to get dry, it requires a good conditioner or a mask afterwards to get the moisture back. In that way, the shampoo does what you expect from an everyday shampoo: cleanses without making the hair frizzy. 🧡 Color preserving and shine Matrix markets the product as color preserving with ingredients like glycolic acid and rosehip oil to provide shine. After a few weeks of use, I haven’t noticed any significant difference in color preserving effect or any dramatic increase in shine. The hair looks clean and well cared for, but the wow shine that is promised is not noticeable on me. 🧡 Summary This is a good, fresh, and easy-to-use shampoo. For me with bleached hair and slightly dry lengths, it’s not enough as a standalone solution for rehydrating or providing significantly more shine.
