    Great cream, impractical packaging

I had the opportunity to test a three-step skincare routine from MinLen, consisting of a face wash, serum, and face cream. I actually hadn't heard of the brand before and haven't seen it in my usual social media feeds, so it was a bit extra fun to try something completely new. ✨ First impression - Made in collaboration with Weleda - Feels moisturizing without being heavy - Faint, discreet scent My thoughts: My skin really liked this serum! I have perioral dermatitis (not active right now) and often react when it gets colder outside, so I was a bit cautious about trying a new routine. But since the line is developed together with Weleda, it felt safe to try. The cream has a lovely formula that doesn't irritate the skin, but leaves it soft, hydrated, and almost elastic after it has dried in. The scent is mild and barely noticeable, which I appreciate. What didn't work for me: Even though I love the colors and the overall design, I found the packaging a bit impractical. I prefer creams in tubes over jars; this one took up unnecessarily much space in my toiletry bag when I traveled, and even at home it feels a bit large for my bathroom cabinet. Additionally, I think the pump dispenses a bit too much product at once. It's possible to try to press halfway, but it's hard to get the right amount without accidentally pressing all the way down. Summary: A really good and moisturizing cream that works well even on sensitive skin. It feels gentle, light, and balanced without irritating the skin barrier. However, the packaging does detract from the overall impression a bit, both in size and dosing. One detail to note is that the cream has a faint beige tone, but it leaves no color on the skin. I really like this cream and how it feels on the skin, but I'm a bit unsure if I would buy it again, especially due to the packaging.💕 #LYKOINFLUTESTER #MINLEN

    Serum that dries in quickly!

I had the opportunity to test a three-step skincare routine from MinLen, consisting of a face wash, serum, and face cream. I actually hadn't heard of the brand before and haven't seen it in my usual social media feeds, so it was a bit extra fun to try something completely new. ✨ First impressions - Absorbs quickly into the skin - Gives a nice glow after application - Sleek, stylish packaging with easy-to-use pump My thoughts: My skin really liked this serum! I have perioral dermatitis (not active right now) and often react when it gets colder outside, so I was a bit cautious about trying a new routine. But since the line was developed together with Weleda, it felt safe to try. The serum absorbs quickly and leaves a subtle glow effect that makes the skin feel fresh and hydrated. The packaging is small, handy, and has a nice design, plus the pump dispenses just the right amount. What didn't work for me: The scent is a bit special… There’s something familiar about the scent, but I can't quite place it. It feels a bit spicy, which doesn't quite suit my taste. Summary: I really like this serum! It feels gentle on the skin, absorbs quickly, and doesn't disturb my skin barrier. The scent isn't my favorite, which means it doesn't get all five stars. One detail to note is that the serum has a faint beige tone, but it leaves no color on the skin. For those who aren't sensitive to scents, this is a really good serum to try. 🥳 #LYKOINFLUTESTER #MINLEN

    Gave me bumps

I had the opportunity to test a three-step skincare routine from MinLen, consisting of a face wash, serum, and face cream. I actually hadn't heard of the brand before and haven't seen it in my usual social media feeds, so it was a bit extra fun to try something completely new. ✨ First impressions - Nice and well-thought-out design - Lovely formula - Faint, discreet scent My thoughts: I have perioral dermatitis (not active right now) and often react when it gets colder outside, so I was a bit cautious about trying a new routine. But since the line was developed together with Weleda, it felt safe to try. The packaging is really nice with poppy colors and rounded edges that give a soft and fresh impression. The formula feels pleasant on the skin, and the pump dispenses a just-right amount of product. The scent is mild to almost non-existent, something I personally appreciate. What didn't work for me: Unfortunately, the product didn't suit my skin type. After using the entire line (face wash, serum, and cream) for about a week, I noticed small red bumps, mainly on my forehead but also on my cheeks. When I tried to remove the products one by one, it turned out that the face wash was the culprit. Summary: A stylish, well-designed product that feels nice on the skin and has a pleasant scent, but unfortunately, my skin reacted negatively to it. I had high expectations, but this product simply didn't work for me. #LYKOINFLUTESTER #MINLEN

    New favorite 😍

I have tried some self-tanning drops before, and this one definitely ranks at the top. I have sensitive and combination skin, which means that not everything usually works. I have also had perioral dermatitis, which makes me hesitant to try new products. But when I read that this one is dermatologically tested on sensitive skin, and also fragrance-free, I dared to try it. Now during the summer when I already have a light tan on my face, I use about 4-5 drops mixed with my night cream to get an extra sun-kissed tone. I also found that this one didn’t leave stains on the bedding. The packaging, with a screw cap and dropper, is convenient to take along, and I appreciate the clean design, simple without being too colorful or loud. The product has even become so popular here at home that my boyfriend has taken it over. Now it stands more on his shelf in the bathroom cabinet than on mine. There’s nothing negative to say about this product, I (and my boyfriend who steals the bottle) love the drops! 😍✨ #lykoinflutester #drgreve

    Do the job

I often use self-tanning mousse products, but now I got the chance to try Dr Greve Self Tan Lotion! Before application, I exfoliated my skin in the shower and then applied the lotion. I like that it is fragrance-free and easy to apply. After a few hours, the color developed, and the result was an even, natural tone. Besides that, it got a bit darker at the knees and ankles (even though I pre-treated these areas with another cream). Now during the summer when I already have a base tan, I found that it enhanced my existing color in a nice way. However, I am a bit unsure how the shade will be during the winter months when the skin is lighter; there is a risk that it might pull a bit orange. The product works well, but personally, I prefer mousse with color guard, as it makes it easier to see where the product is applied. Another downside for me with the cream format is the feeling that it never really dries in the same way a mousse does. The packaging was unfortunately a minus. It could just be my sample that was defective, but after I opened the bottle for the first time, it wouldn’t close. I had to tape the opening to avoid the cream coming into contact with air. The design, however, is simple and sleek, which I appreciate. If you want your tan to pop extra during the summer, I can absolutely recommend the product. But for me, it’s a no, as I personally prefer mousse products. [hashtag] [hashtag]

    Disappointed

I got this makeup remover as a gift a few weeks ago and was really excited to try it. It looks exclusive and is definitely the kind of product you would want to pick up in-store just because of the design. Unfortunately, the content did not live up to expectations. I use waterproof mascara daily and had hoped for an effective and gentle cleansing. Instead, I had to rub quite hard to get the makeup off, which both irritated my skin and felt unnecessarily harsh on my lashes. Super sad when a product looks promising but doesn't deliver on its promises. Unfortunately, not something I would buy myself or recommend if you, like me, use waterproof makeup.

Hey Natalie 🌸 It's sad that the product didn't live up to expectations. You'll have to work through it layer by layer so you can at least use up the product. Thank you for taking the time to leave a review 💗

    An affordable straightener!

I have now used the OBH Nordica Björn Axén Thermocare Straightener for two weeks and here are my thoughts on it! My hair: I have thin and brittle, typically Scandinavian blonde hair that I refresh at the hairdresser about once a year. To prevent it from falling flat and looking lifeless, I almost always need to style it. When I read about the straightener, it was said to have "thermocare technology," which means it has a heat-protecting system that works to protect the hair during styling. I like that the straightener glides easily and well through the hair, there is no resistance, and it is easier to work with. It also doesn't feel like the hair is taking much damage. A big plus is that it also has a long cord! I haven't used it as a curling iron, only as a straightener, but I am very satisfied with the result I get. What is a little less good is that it feels a bit thick around the plates, which is probably great when making curls to get them nice. But for me, when I straighten, it becomes a bit difficult to get close to the scalp since the tongs don't reach all the way in because the plastic around is a bit thicker/clunky. I, who travel a lot and always have a heat tool with me, think it's super good that it has a locking function to close the tongs. But… When you have long nails like me, the button is hard to press in the lock position. The material of the button is a bit shiny, which means that if you try to lock the button with your finger, you slip, and if you use your nail, you have to be careful so it doesn't break! 😅 + Affordable + Long cord + Glides well through the hair + Doesn't feel like it damages the hair - The lock button is sometimes hard to engage - A bit thick at the tongs, hard to get close to the scalp #lykoinflutester #björnaxen #obhnordica

A heat protectant that does the job!

My hair: I have thin and fine, typically Scandinavian blonde hair that I refresh at the salon about once a year. To prevent it from falling flat and looking lifeless, I almost always need to style it. Right from the first use, I was positively surprised. The heat protectant has a luxurious feel both in how it applies and how it smells. The spray distributes evenly in the hair thanks to a good nozzle, something I appreciate because many other products can easily become too wet or spray unevenly. The fresh scent gives a salon feel and lingers without overpowering. What I like most is how light the product feels in the hair, it doesn't weigh it down and makes it easy to style with both curling irons and flat irons. The hair feels soft, smooth, and has a nice natural fall after use. I would say this is a perfect heat protectant for you with fine to normal hair who uses heat tools regularly but still wants the hair to feel light, healthy, and shiny. It is not a styling product in itself, so if you are looking for volume or hold, you will need to supplement, but as protection against heat, it really does the job. + Affordable + Smells fresh and not too strong + Sprays evenly and nicely + Leaves no residue #lykoinflutester #björnaxen #obhnordica

    Scrub with an incredible scent!

The packaging is both sleek and luxurious, a real treat for the eyes. When I tested the product for the first time on the back of my hand, it was the scent that caught me immediately. It’s summery, with fresh notes of citrus and flowers, simply magical! I became almost obsessed. The scent also lingered after I rinsed off the scrub, which I really appreciated. The consistency felt oily upon application, but after rinsing, all the oil disappeared without leaving any residue on the skin. When I tested the product on my body, I noticed that I needed to use quite a bit to get the exfoliating feeling I’m used to, which might be because I often use scrub gloves. Despite that, it felt lovely on the skin and left no residue. After the shower, I felt moisturized and my skin was really soft. The scent lingered a bit, which was a big plus. I applied self-tanner about 16 hours after using the scrub and thought that the tan applied nicely on the skin without looking dry or patchy in some areas. I’m satisfied with the result! I like using it as a scrub on my body, whether I’m going to self-tan or not. Summary: I would have liked a bit more grit in the scrub, I missed that feeling you get from scrub gloves. But my skin became soft and smooth, and the scent is absolutely fantastic. Will I buy it again? Most likely, yes! #LYKOTESTPILOT #TANREVEL
