- The user's roll: Lyko Creator. The post was made 4 hoursMY SKINCARE ROUTINE PART 2 MOISTURIZERS & EYE CREAMS🧴😌 Now it’s time for part 2 of my skincare routine! This time I thought I’d show which face creams and eye creams I use.🥰 Everything except the cream from Summerfridays can be purchased here at LYKO I use different creams depending on how my skin feels and what it needs that day. Usually, I prefer a lighter cream in the morning and a slightly thicker, richer cream/barrier cream in the evening. La Roche-Posay LA ROCHE-POSAY TOLERIANE SENSITIVE This is a real favorite of mine and actually the cream I use the most in my morning routine! It has a very thin and light consistency that quickly absorbs into the skin without feeling greasy or sticky. It’s designed for sensitive skin, which suits me very well since my skin is both sensitive and tends to get a bit oily in the T-zone. I think it gives a nice & natural glow that works great under makeup. I’ve repurchased this several times and as you can see, it’s almost empty again, so I’ll be ordering a new one!😅 This is actually basically the only face cream I reach for in the morning. In the evenings, I vary a bit more and choose cream based on what my skin needs that day. purito PURITO LUMINOUS CERAMIDE SLEEPING PACK I mainly use this on evenings when my skin feels a bit irritated, dry, or needs extra hydration and support for the skin barrier. It contains, among other things, cica and ceramides, which help soothe and strengthen the skin barrier and retain moisture in the skin. I’ve previously used Cicaplast from LRP, but I actually think this works better on my combination skin. It doesn’t feel as thick and heavy but still gives a nourishing feeling that I want in the evening. A really good barrier cream!🌙 mixsoon MIXSOON BEAN CREAM I really like this cream! I got it in a smaller size in last year’s K-beauty calendar from Lyko and loved it so much that I eventually bought the full size. It really moisturizes deeply and has a very nice consistency. Even though it feels rich and nourishing, it doesn’t get particularly greasy or sticky on the skin. This also helps strengthen the skin barrier and keep the skin hydrated. SUMMER FRIDAYS RICH CUSHION CREAM I got this as a little sample when I ordered from Sephora and I actually haven’t had time to use it that much yet. So far, though, I really like how it feels!😇 naturie NATURIE HATOMUGI GEL This has a SUPER light and thin formula and is more like a light gel cream than a traditional face cream. I think it’s perfect on days when I feel a bit extra oily and don’t want to put on anything too rich. Despite the light consistency, it actually moisturizes very well! Plus, you get a lot of product for the money. I have nothing negative to say about it. Saturday Skin SATURDAY SKIN YUZU VITAMIN C SLEEP MASK This is a sleep mask with vitamin C that I like to use on evenings when I want to give my skin an extra boost. Since I already use vitamin C serum in the morning, I think it’s fun to also have a night mask with vitamin C as a complement when the skin needs a little extra glow. It has a quite special consistency, almost like a gel cream with small gel-like pieces in it. I think it works well and the skin feels hydrated and fresh after use! basiron BASIRON AC 10 % GEL This isn’t really a regular face cream, but I still wanted to include it because it has a place in my skincare routine. I use it as a spot treatment when I get bigger pimples or when my skin starts acting up a bit.😅 It contains benzoyl peroxide, which is an effective ingredient against acne because it’s antibacterial and helps prevent acne breakouts. I think it works very well when needed and have already bought a new tube since my current one is running out. However, make sure to read up properly before you start using benzoyl peroxide. It’s an active ingredient that can dry out and irritate the skin if used incorrectly and it can also bleach fabrics.‼️‼️ Those were my face creams, so now let’s move on to my three eye creams I have right now. I use different ones depending on whether I want to focus on hydration or work more on skin texture and fine lines. some-by-mi SOME BY MI RETINOL INTENSE ADVANCED TRIPLE ACTION EYE CREAM This eye cream contains, among other things, retinol and peptides and is designed to work on fine lines, wrinkles, firmness, and skin elasticity around the eyes. I actually think it has worked quite well and I feel like it does its job. The only thing I’m a bit bothered by is that it contains perfume, which I usually avoid in skincare, especially around the eyes. I still want to use it up because I think it works, but it’s probably not a product I’ll buy again.🤷🏼♀️ Beauty of Joseon BEAUTY OF JOSEON REVIVE EYE SERUM – GINSENG + RETINAL The best eye cream in the world, in my opinion!!🥰 I’ve really noticed a difference since I started using this and think it’s so incredibly good. It contains ginseng and retinal, which is a form of vitamin A. Ginseng provides antioxidants and retinal helps improve skin texture and work against fine lines. I really feel it gives results and definitely think it’s worth trying if you’re curious about retinal for the eye area. I use it about four times a week in my evening routine and it’s become a real favorite that I will definitely repurchase!🤗 Clinique CLINIQUE ALL ABOUT EYES RICH Last but not least, we have one from Clinique! This is a really nice and moisturizing eye cream that I mainly use in the morning. It has a slightly richer and creamier consistency and gives a very nice glow under the eyes. A mini spatula is included in the packaging. Waterfall glacier water cream is a moist gel that feels like water on the skin, quite pleasant. The post was made 10 monthsSaturday SkinI think the brand has really pretty packaging for their products. 😍 Yuzu vitamin C sleep mask is a gel that you use as the last step in your evening routine about 3-5 times a week, but I think you can use it every night since it is gentle. I am personally sensitive to vitamin C, but it gives a nice result with hydrated and plump skin until morning. 🥰 And the skin tone looks more even. A spatula is also included with the jar. Melt+cleanse makeup melting balm also has a spatula in the packaging. Light, soft balm that melts nicely over the face and removes makeup in a snap. Can be rinsed off with cooler water and leaves no residue.
