🫧First impression Exactly like the other Biodance masks - a collagen mask and not a sheet mask, easy to apply, cooling 🧖🏻♀️ Usage Had this mask on for 5 hours (which is longer than the previous times I tried it). I see many miss skincare BEFORE applying the mask, so a reminder on that! Finished with a moisturizing cream afterwards ✨ Result Oh, I don’t want to, but I have to say this unfortunately did not live up to expectations. It was not soothing at all, but stung quite a bit, and my face was just as matte afterwards as before applying. 🫧First impression A thinner sheet mask that is completely SOAKED in product, mild scent, easy to apply, the serum is enough for the rest of the body as well. 🧖🏻♀️ Usage I wore this for about 20-30 minutes and barely felt it, which is appreciated for someone who gets a bit overstimulated by feeling masks/eye patches sliding around on the face. ✨Biodance Bio Collagen mask✨
📦 First impression The mask is made of collagen and is not the typical sheet mask. Fragrance-free, cooling, and sticks to the face like a sticker, super convenient! If you have long nails, you should be a bit careful so it doesn't get holes and pieces tear off 💄 Usage The instructions say to wear the mask for 2-4 hours because that's how long it takes for the collagen to break down into the skin, or alternatively wear it overnight. I wore it for 2 hours because I got overstimulated 😭 ✨ Result Even though I "only" wore it for 2 hours, the mask gave an incredible glow AND WOW WHAT MOISTURIZATION!!!!! My morning routine for glow from the inside & out! Damaged skin barrier, sensitive skin
Here is my current facial skincare after a period of having a damaged skin barrier. I am careful to support the skin both from the inside & out, so at breakfast I take two supplements that I think are absolutely phenomenal: Skin Restoring Ceramides from Life Extension & Purely-E, which is a completely natural mix of broad-spectrum E vitamins. I order these from IHerb! Right now my skin needs maximum protection against weather & wind, so I apply about a pea-sized amount of Eucerin Urea Repair. This is actually a hand cream, but since it’s the carbamide (urea) that I’m after as an active ingredient and the hand cream forms a bit more of a protective layer on the skin, I think it works super well and is budget-friendly! Next, I apply a bit of Purito’s Luminous Ceramide Moisturizer if I feel it’s needed. This way, I’ve gotten ceramides both through supplements & cream to really give the skin enough building blocks for repair. I finish with a favorite in my makeup bag for many years, namely Heliocare Color Gelcream Brown SPF 50! The texture of this is quite thick and it can be a bit tricky to apply, but it’s one of the few tinted creams I think gives enough color since I choose not to actively sun my face at all.
