I have now tested this moisturizer for about a month and I am really impressed!! To start with, I am very fond of the packaging! Not only is it really nice, but I also love the lid itself – not a screw cap like it usually is (which personally drives me crazy, having to get it right on the threads or whatever it's called), but this lid you just pull off and when you're done you just press the lid back on, no twisting 😊 Then pressing on the container itself to get exactly the right amount is magical! I love packaging like this and definitely worth 5 stars. Before we get into how I experience the cream itself, here’s a quick overview of my skin type: 👋Mature. 👋Normal, but tends to be dry during the colder months. 👋Can be a bit sensitive. What I like about this: 👌I love that it is rich in a "non-greasy" way. 👌It absorbs very quickly, leaves absolutely no sticky residue. (I don’t have to wait forever to put on makeup in the morning!) 👌I don’t notice any scent at all and as far as I can see, it’s completely fragrance-free, big plus! 👌I haven’t had any negative reactions to it, so I’d say it’s also suitable for sensitive skin. 👌Gives a nice "just right" glow. 👌For me, the most important thing is that a day cream doesn’t clash with foundation, and this one handles that perfectly. What I like less: 😐Unsure if it will really be enough for me in winter when my skin gets much drier than now. 😐If I understood the INCI list correctly, the peptides are quite far down the list, which suggests their concentration isn’t very high. 😐I think the price is a bit high. Received this product as #lykotestpilot in exchange for an honest review, as a reference I have sensitive combination skin. 📦 First impression A frosted glass bottle that clearly represents the brand’s background – Scandinavia’s raw nature. The glass bottle gives a luxurious feel, the dropper dispenses the perfect amount, and the bottle does not leak. The consistency is a watery blue gel. The scent, however, is the same as the 2-in-1 cleansing milk... kind of a musty/moldy type? 💄 Usage You should use a few drops of this after cleansing. A few drops per area for me was about 1.5 pumps. Applied to the face and décolleté, both morning and evening every day for about 2-3 weeks. 👍 Pros 💚 Long-lasting 💚 Moisturizes super well and shows clear results 💚 Works great for sensitive skin 👎 Cons ❤️🩹 The smell ❤️🩹 High price 💭 Conclusion This was truly a great product and I would definitely buy it again, though the price is a bit steep and I might have other serums I prefer for a cheaper price. I clicked home two of these, one in the color Toffeetastic and one in the color Pinkified. This is the first time I've tried something from Essence, and the first impression was definitely positive! The product smells good and feels lovely on the lips. Nice to use both with and without lip liner.
